Hey! Welcome to The Light In My Darkness, a reboot/rewrite of Not One For Redemption.

Not One For Redemption was one of my first Hazbin Hotel stories that also had a more clear plot that I knew I wanted to happen than the ones that came before it. And since I last updated that story (which seems like a lifetime ago), my writing has improved dramatically and I have become better. And this reboot/rewrite will be shown as proof! Also, this will have a crossover to Helluva Boss, 'cause yes, I'm that confident in my writing skills.

Now, onto the main point.

We all now the main basis/plot for Hazbin Hotel. And if you don't know and you're new to the fandom, here: Princess of Hell opens a hotel as a rehabilitation center for Sinners in Hell so they can be redeemed and sent to Heaven because Hell's first Ring, the Pride Ring, is getting overpopulated which has made Heaven send in Exterminator Angels to come to Hell to annually commit genocide.

And we all get it, but we all want more episodes! (Not hating, take as much time as you need Vivziepop)

I know there's some drama going on about it all and whatnot, but let's not talk about it here. If you don't know what's going on, look it up. And if you don't like the show and Vivziepop, why the fuck are you even reading this? Because you like my writing? I mean, that's fine. Just don't comment hateful things about the show (unless they're justified of course, like constructive criticism and like that, that would be completely fine, but that also depends on things), and please don't argue about whatever you may see. Don't like what happens? This is in Hell, pal. Shut the fuck up and grow the fuck up. People being racist and whatnot is the point.

Anyway, I'm getting off-topic. Talked about the drama a bit myself. My bad. Let's get back on-topic.

Now, if you read the original, then you'll basically know what's going on. Anti-social Hellborn (aka the reader) joins the Hazbins and helps out. The old version hasn't been updated for so long due to the fact that I had no more ideas for it (and that no more episodes have been aired yet). However, I've been talking to my good friend TomislavSkenderovic and decided to remake Not One For Redemption, and we've been workshoping ideas together. In fact, he's helped with a few other stories as well. So hats off to him. Man's a bro.

Anyway, you know the main premise of the story. Of course, there's gonna plot twists. I mean, it's me. I'm a writer. Why wouldn't I have turns that get twisty?

Also, I'm just gonna say it now, none of the characters or art and songs used don't belong to me. I'm probably gonna start saying this now beforehand in stories so I don't have to say something everytime I add a picture and whatnot.

This is you, Y/n the Dark (of course, you can still choose to look like something else. It's up to you), member of the Dark Family and high rankers in the hierarchy of Hell. You are quite the loner and have kept yourself in solitude for half a century, though you are quite a bit over one hundred-years-old. You are quite powerful due to your ranking in Hell's hierarchy and can control the shadows, darkness, energy, and have some control over time.
