Emily's POV

I did it. I actually told Artemis. What is he going to do to me? What have I done?? I really shouldn't have done that. "Emily I- I- I'm sorry I didn't know....." Artemis said wide eyed. "Artemis it's not your fault. It's his." I replied while trying to hold in my tears BUT FAILED MISERABLY.

"I can't tell anyone... YOU can't tell anyone!!" I whisper yelled "Emily you have to tell someone!" Artemis yelled to me." Artemis be quite and no!!! Artemis I can't do that!! Do you know what he'll do to me?!?!" I whisper yelled at her. (cause well you know I-We didn't want anyone to hear the conversation.) "Well you can't just let him do this to you! this is wrong Emily....This is wrong"Artemis said. I could see the pure hatred towards him in her eyes. I was scared. Worried. I didn't know what to do!!

"I'm sorry Artemis I just can't" I replied in a hush tone.I shouldn't have done it.What was I thinking?! And with that I ran out of the school completely ignoring the protests of the teachers and students behind me. I ran as fast as I could, my lungs felt like they were about to explode, me legs felt like they were made of jelly but yet I still forced myself to run because I knew what was coming at me.

******TIME SKIP******

I was running down the street huffing and wheezing praying about what was about to happen. I was about 1 foot from my front door. So many thoughts ran through my mind.....

This is going to hurt.

How mad will he be?

Will this hurt?

My thoughts were interrupted when I reached my front door. Hesitantly I opened the door slowly and quickly closed it behind me.

"EMILY!!" I heard him yell through the walls. "GET OVER HERE NOW YOU FREAK!!" Uh oh... he sounds angry.Slowly I walk into the living room only to be greeted by a slap in the face hard enough to make you feel back."GET UP YOU LAZY SLOB!!!" He yelled at me. As fast as I could stood up onto my feet and stood there like a soldier standing before he salutes."Your school just called me..." he said to me in a very scary whisper. "and said to me that you just...ran out of school. Is this true?". Silence. "I SAID IS THIS TRUE?!?! ANSWER ME YOU EVIL WITCH" He yelled at me while pulling my hair making me fall to the ground. I slowly started getting up and eventually stuttered out a yes before he kicked me back onto the ground.He then grabbed my hair pulling me up again and slammed me against the wall. I whimpered and tried to get up. He kicked me in the face stomped on me. "Go to your room you bitch" He muttered to me as he went to go and get a beer. "Yes sir" I muttered back. I crawled upstairs and threw myself onto the bed and cried. 5 minutes later I was still crying. After 10 minutes I cried myself to sleep.....

Hi guys I'm sorry the update took long and I'm sorry that this chapter is so SHORT!!! I was having a few family issues and was piled up with homework and I had to visit my aunt in Ontario for a week (by the way she didn't even allow electronics there!) and couldn't update and I'm SORRY!!! I will TRY to update soon!
