A/N: Hi, you guys. It has been so long since I last updated and I apologise for that. You have no idea how sorry I am. I've just been too caught up with school and my other story, Beyond The Fence (If you have the time, do check it out.) that I rarely get the time for this one. Now my exams are just around the corner and of course, I won't be able to update more often. But I promise you, once they're over, I'll have so much for you guys.
I was just reading back from chapter 1, because I had totally lost connection with this story and realized something....this story SUCKS. So once my exams are over, I'll be rewriting this whole thing. No plot changes, I promise.
Also, thank you for sticking by and making me reach 1k reads! Reading back, I was actually surprised that you people continued to read this. You people are wonderful, honestly. I adore each one of my readers!
Since I'm going to be making a lot of changes, I thought it'd be better to just leave you with a snippet from the next chapter.
Here it goes...
The feeling was familiar: To be surrounded by hundreds of people, yet somehow, be utterly alone.
Loneliness was Rachel's only dependable friend. The only friend who had never left her side. Sure there were days when she would feel like it had left her, but then again it would come with its gloom, to trace her soul with its cold icy fingers, to suck all the happiness there was in her and to leave nothing behind but an empty carcass.
For the past few weeks, she had thought that it had finally left her. Her only friend was gone somewhere. Lost somewhere. But here it was again, to squeeze out every bit of life there was left in her veins.
She greeted her long-lost friend with a new wave of tears.
