HALIMAT RAN OUT of the sitting room meeting her dad at the compound,the man came with five cars,two police car with one at the front and the other at the back,three black SUV and he came down from the middle one,he was wearing a brown caftan and his cap slightly bending on his head,he hug his daughter and she chuckled looking like she had found her God

Of course she did

They started walking towards the house with the escort but the man stopped telling them something before they stood still while Halimat and her dad walk into the house,I glance at my mom who was sitting at the dinning table ignorant of what's going on and a sudden wave of regrets wash through me

I should have warn her before hand

Qadirah was sitting beside my mom with her hands shaking and I can understand how she feels,it's not easy to see the devil you once buried back into your life,I sat with Ibrahim who was fuming,it felt like he's not in support of what's going on

The door suddenly opened revealing Halimat and her dad as they stepped into the sitting room, Ibrahim's father stood up and went to shake the man,they exchanged pleasantries before heading to the dinning room, Ibrahim's mom greeted him too so do Ibrahim before he sat on the chair his daughter pulled out for him

My mother's attention on the dinning room suddenly peaked and she look over to see the new man who came,her eyes landed on him and her eyes shot open like she had seen a ghost,she quickly glance at my sister who had her head hung down with shaky hands she kept on her laps

Her eyes landed on me and I gave her the look that she should calm her down,she look away and I can feel the tension growing in the dinning room

"Congratulations Ibrahim Junior"the man said laughing,his voice was as thick as I remembered "how is your baby?"he asked

"Alhamdulillah she's fine and in her room"Ibrahim answered and the man nodded

Halimat stood up and started serving the food and I let her do it alone,I'm not in the right state of mind to do serve food

"Where's your first wife?"the man asked and Ibrahim closed his eyes briefly before opening them

"This is her Aishah"he said looking at me

"Aishah!"the man said looking at me and I internally prayed he doesn't remember me "oh Aishah the fierce one"he chuckles "you're already a grown up"he said taking a spoon from his food,Qadirah looked at me with fears written in her eyes and I gave her an assuring smile

"Where's that beautiful sister of yours,I miss her"he said and my sister look like she's about to faint when Halimat interrupted

"Dad you know them?"she asked surprised

"Of course darling,we had a long past don't we darling"he said looking at me but I choose not to answer,Ibrahim gave me a questioning look and I frown at him

"Qadirah!"the man suddenly said laughing like a maniac he is after spotting my sister "I didn't know you're sitting here how have you been,I really missed you though"he says and my sister grip her spoon harder,she ignored him and started eating her food

I look at my mom and Fareedah and saw how angry they look,they were busy glaring at the man

"Why don't we go into why we are here"Ibrahim's dad said chuckling and the man did thesame nodding

"How's your baby Aishah?"he asked again and I felt like throwing my spoon at him

"She's fine"I gritted

"A she? So fabulous!"he said laughing "can't wait for her to grow into a beautiful woman like Qadirah here"he said and my eye shot open looking at him,he ignored me and started eating his food

"Excuse me"my mom said standing up and I wish she never did because it draws Mr Kandiri attention on her

"Rukkayah!"he calls and my mom went stiff,she glared at him and left the dinning room and I'm sure she's heading to my room

The dinning room was oddly silent everyone wondering what's going on including Halimat having a confuse look,the dinner was taking time to get over and I couldn't wait for it to end

"Ibrahim Junior,you wouldn't mind showing me the toilet would you?"Mr Kandiri said and Ibrahim nodded standing up and leading the man upstairs

I internally prayed he doesn't see my mom because hell might let loose

No one's POV

Rukkayah ran out of the dinning room rushing to her daughter's room,she opens the door and closed it abruptly leaning on the door frame while she tries controlling her breathing

This can't be

She muttered to herself and continue trying to calm her breathing,she left the door way and sat on the floor bursting into tears as she cried loudly hitting whatever comes her away

"Suleiman you should have been here to witness this day! I can't do it again without you Suleiman and he is back again he is back again!"she yelled while crying like she wanted to tear herself apart,she removed her hair tie and started pulling her hair like she's loosing it,she's actually loosing her sanity and she don't want to end up in the psychiatric hospital like she once did

Ibrahim showed Mr Kandiri the visitor's toilet he can use

"Don't worry I will find my way back"Mr Kandiri told Ibrahim and he nodded leaving him alone,Mr Kandiri had no desire to use the toilet he was out here looking for Rukkayah,he started going into door by door when he suddenly heard yelling and cries,he rush over to where he heard the sound from

The door to the room opened and Mr Kandiri stepped in kneeling to meet Rukkayah eye to eye

"Stop suffering yourself Rukkayah"he said in a lovely voice no one think he has

"Rasheed don't come near me!"Rukkayah said backing away from him

"Rukkayah stop this! You're the cause of everything that happened and you know it,you know you caused everything!"he yelled and stood up while Rukkayah imitated him too

"How am I the cause of everything that happened Rasheed,you were the one that decided not to leave my family alone!"Rukkayah said yelling and pulling her hair again

"Your husband came to me first!"Mr Kandiri said stepping forward like a predator

"That doesn't guarantee all you have done in our lives!"Rukkayah answered stepping back

"You know I love you so much"Mr Kandiri says in a small soothing voice

"You're obsessed Rasheed you don't love me"Rukkayah said

"I heard Suleiman is dead,we can still have a life together Rukkayah,I won't mind taking you in at anytime"Mr Kandiri said walking over to Rukkayah and grabbing her hand

"After sleeping with me and my daughter?!"Rukkayah scoffed "I rather die than being called yours!"Rukkayah yelled pulling her hand away from him trying to walk away

"Try me Rukkayah and I will let you know what happened before was just the tip of the ice bag,I will deal with you and destroy you"he said in a very murderous voice

"You already destroyed us Rasheed,you already break us to the extent we are unbreakable anymore,do your worst!"she said and left the room

Mr Kandiri was taking time to come back from the toilet and my mind skipped,I hope he isn't there with my mom,I started getting impatient when my mom suddenly came down looking disorientated and I knew something went wrong,she walk away not even sparing us a look

Qadirah, Fareedah and I stood up immediately following her outside the house,we were able to stop her when she made it out of the gate

"Mummy calm down and talk to us"I said breathing hard trying to catch my breathe

"You!"my mom said pointing an accusing finger on us "you know he was coming and you didn't tell me about it!"she yelled and started laughing "how dare you do this to me!"she yelled again "oh Suleiman"she started sobbing

"Mummy what's wrong with you?"Qadirah said holding her while she laughs

"I want to die!" She shouted pulling her hair "I want to go to where Suleiman is so that I can have my peace! I'm tired of this life"she says pulling her hair and we started crying "I can't bare to see thesame man that slept with my daughter and I"she says and Qadirah cried the more

My mom tried tearing her dress and I knew something is wrong

"No no no !"I said while Fareedah help me to grab her,she started trying to pull away but Qadirah helped holding her down

"Mom have loose it again!"I said and Qadirah nodded crying

"We need to rush her to the hospital"Fareedah said and Qadirah's cry got loud ten times fold

"Mummy please don't do this to us,we don't know what we will do without you please don't do this"Qadirah cried pleading and neither can I stop crying

Ibrahim joined us outside and saw what's happening,he helped us hold my mom who was trying to break free

"What's happening?"he asked

"We just need to get mom to the hospital"I said,Fareedah rush back into the house and came back few minutes later

"I brought your phone"she told Qadirah who grabbed it immediately calling her husband

"Please just come over to Aishah's place please right away"she said and the call ended

"Ibrahim I don't want anybody inside to know what's happening please"I plead and he nodded in understanding,he went back inside and drove his car out to come and meet us

"What did you tell them?"I asked him as soon as he stepped out of the car

"I told them your mom is feeling sick and I decided to drive her home"

"Thank you"I said and he helped us take my mom inside the car

Yunus car suddenly appeared and he stopped the car immediately climbing down with Fareed in his arms while Faiza walked by herself

"What's happening?"he asked when he came near to us drawing his wife closer

"He dare! He dare raped my daughter!! He made me watch it and told me he loves me!"my mom yelled on top of her voice and we started crying again,things are really getting from bad to worst

Yunus look at everyone of us confused till my mom said something else that made him step back

"Oh my baby Qadirah how you might have been traumatized!"

Yunus stepped back from his wife and Qadirah broke into tears

"I can explain please don't leave me"Qadirah plead walking over to her husband who stepped away closing his eyes briefly

"You have a lot of explanation to do when we get home"Yunus said and she nodded in agreement

Ibrahim climbed his car,I did and Fareedah did too,Qadirah and her husband plus babies entered her husband car too as we drive out of the street heading to the hospital

We arrived at the hospital and my mom was taken by the doctor immediately sedating her,the doctor asked us to return home that's it already late that she wouldn't wake till tomorrow

I would have love to stay but I remembered Nadeerah is at home with the people I don't trust and decided to go back home, Qadirah have to too because she need to take care of her babies and have a lot of explanation to give her husband, Fareedah was the first to leave because Rauf was busy calling her to come back home

We stepped out of the hospital and I look up at the hospital building reading the word written at the top
