The Robbery
K well you guys should know by now and oof this one is rough...
Today was Saturday, and Peter had just finished spending the day at the tower with Tony, Steve, and Bucky. They spent the whole day watching movies and doing fun things.
Tony and Peter spent some time together in the lab, then Bucky tried to teach Peter how to bake which resulted in the smoke alarm going off multiple times, and finally Steve and Peter went out for a run since Peter was one of the only ones who could keep up to Steve.
Peter was just packing up his backpack when Tony came over to him.
"Are you sure you don't wanna spend the night kid? You're coming back tomorrow anyways." He asked the teen.
Peter shook his head and respectfully declined.
"Thanks for the offer Mr. Stark, but I think I'll just head home for tonight."
Tony shrugged and nodded.
"Alrighty then kid, we'll see ya tomorrow!"
Peter waved to the two super soldiers and the billionaire as he stepped into the elevator.
"Bye Steve, Bucky and Mr. Stark! See you tomorrow!"
"Bye Peter!" They waved back.
When the elevator doors closed they chuckled at the fact that Steve and Bucky were on a first name basis yet Tony wasn't, but that was probably just to mess with him.
Tony walked into the lab to clean up, when he realized that Peter had forgotten his suit and web-shooters here. Oh well, the kid could get them tomorrow since it's not like he'd need them tonight anyways.
He walked back into the common room and sat down on the couch with Steve and Bucky as they began doing their own things.
Steve was sketching, Tony was fiddling with his Stark-Pad and Bucky was flipping through the channels looking for something to watch.
All of a sudden, Friday's voice interrupted the peaceful silence in the room.
"Incoming call from Underoos."

Peter had just entered his building and was so ready to throw on his pjs and go to sleep.
He walked inside the small apartment and threw his keys on the counter. May was on a vacation with some friends so he had the place to himself for a bit.
And yes he would have loved to stay at the tower but he really didn't want to be a bother to Mr. Stark or Steve or Bucky.
He walked into the kitchen after throwing on some fuzzy iron-man pj pants, and grabbed a glass to get some water. It was then that he heard a smashing noise come from May's room.
He felt his wrists and sighed when he realized that he forgot everything at the tower. Just great!
He set the glass down on the counter and froze when May's bedroom door swung open and a large bulky guy in a ski mask ran into the living room, loaded gun in his hands.
The man pointed the gun at Peter, who instinctively threw his hands in the air. He had no suit, no webs, and he was actually terrified.
"On the ground NOW!" The man shouted. Peter, with his hands still raised, obliged and laid down onto the floor of the kitchen.
"Move a muscle and I'll kill you." The robber said before heading into Peter's room. Peter slowly reached a hand down to his special watch that Mr. Stark gave him and pressed the emergency call button.

"Incoming call from Underoos." Friday announced. Tony smiled at his nickname for the kid.
"Answer it Fri."
"Hey kid what's up? Miss us already?" Tony chuckled. His happy mood changed to one of worry when he heard Peter's panicked voice.
"Mr. Stark, th-there's someone in the apartment. I-I'm on the ground now but he-he has a gun and-and-"
Tony heard a deep voice start shouting.
"I said don't move! And now you've gone and called the cops didn't you! God dammit."
Then Tony's heart dropped.
He heard five gunshots ring out.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
His mouth went dry as all was silent on the other line.
"Kid? Kid! PETER!? PETER ANSWER ME! Please.... oh god no...."
Tears began to roll down his cheeks as he was frozen in place, pleading for a sign that the kid, his kid, was still alive.
That's when he heard it.
A small, weak, pained cough.
"Peter? Oh my god are you okay?" Tony exclaimed.
He heard a small groan then a weak voice, not the happy chipper voice he was used to hearing from his kid.
"I-I don't think so... th-there's a-a lot of blood... T-Tony I'm scared..."
Tony was silently sobbing as he called a suit, finally out of his shocked state.
"Stay with me kid. I'm on my way okay?"
He didn't get a response, which only forced him to go faster. Steve and Bucky followed on their motorcycles. When he got to Peter's apartment he rushed inside where he saw Peter laying on the ground in a large pool of dark red blood.
Tony practically ran out of his suit and over to Peter's side. When he saw the poor boy, he knew what was coming. He had three bullet wounds in his chest, and two in his stomach. It was a shocking that he wasn't dead already.
Steve and Bucky stood in the doorway, silent tears running down their faces as they watched father and son, together for the last time.
Tony knelt down beside Peter and squeezed his hand.
"Hey kid, it's me, you-you're alright." He smiled sadly at the boy who looked up at his father figure.
"Dad?" Peter whispered. Tony felt more tears fall as he smiled.
"Yea, it's me kiddo. I'm here now. I'm here."
Tony rubbed his hands through Peter's hair as Peter coughed and blood splattered out of his mouth. The harsh realization hit Tony.
"Kid... kid please... I-I can't lose you..." Tony cried. Peter looked up at Tony and squeezed his hand with what little strength he had left.
Peter smiled weakly and looked up at the broken man.
"Please don't cry dad. It's okay, you're gonna be okay. I love you."
Tony looked down at his kid and hugged him, careful not to cause the boy anymore pain. Peter's body slowly went limp as his hand fell to the floor.
Tony's body racked with sobs as he knelt beside his kid. The light in his life, gone. Taken from him in a mere 30 minutes. Just like that.
Peter was gone, and he was never coming back.
Tony sobbed harshly as Steve and Bucky came to his side and helped him stand.
"Tony, it's time to let go." Steve said slowly.
Tony looked up and realized he was still desperately holding onto Peter's cold, limp hand. He slowly let it go and let himself be helped up by the two soldiers.
He collapsed into Steve who held onto Tony trying to calm the poor father.

Peter Parker's funeral was a small one. Tony, Steve, Bucky, May and Peter's two friends Ned and MJ were the only ones who attended the service. It was nice, well as nice as a funeral could be.
Everyone was heartbroken, but they were healing because they all knew that's what Peter would want them to do.
Tony made his way up to the tombstone as he stood before the small group.
He cleared his throat and swallowed the painfully large lump in his throat. He took a deep breath and began.
"Peter, he was like a son to me. He's the reason I am what I am today. He may have only been 16, but he saved my life. It's because of him that I no longer drink and I actually take care of myself once in a while. The damn kid was so stubborn about that."
There was a small chuckle throughout the group.
"But, as I knelt there, beside him that night, he-he looked so scared and in pain, yet all he did was try and reassure me that I would be okay. And you know what? I will be okay. It will take lots of time and yes it will be the hardest time of my life, but I will be okay and I will always remember Peter Parker as the nerdy little science boy who was in awe the first time I showed him my lab, as the strong and heroic Spider-Man who saved countless lives, all while putting his own at risk and as my son. The light in my life, the glue that holds me together. Gone, but never forgotten."
Uhhhh that happened. Not gonna lie I actually teared up while writing this. Hopefully you didn't hate it? Thanks for reading! Byeeee
