My head canon!

Piper once had to suffer 'Aphrodite symptoms' for a week. She got the urge to read fashion magazines, fangirl about celebrities and let her cabin mates give her a makeover like they always wanted to. The last straw was her sudden urge to go shopping on Saturdays instead of helping out in camp activities or teaming up to play Capture the Flag with the rest of the Seven like she usually did. Piper kidnapped Festus and flew right into the Olympian throne room, demanding to know where her mother was. Aphrodite was in for a real telling off that day, and no one was happier to see it than the other gods-oh, and the rest of the world too, once Hephaestus got it on Hephaestus TV. Finally, her mother had to agree to make an exception and let Piper live in peace as a tomboy.
