       So we have beginner band during 8th period. To get there, we take the sidewalk by the parking lot and in front of the basketball arena. So, I was saying to spunky, "I told my mom that I take this route to band hall. I can't believe that she hasn't warned me to look out for kidnappers." Then, I glanced over at the parking lot where this guy in a black suit was at his car. Then, I said-a little too loudly- ,"like, that guy right over there could just attack us!! " then I was like," but we could take him, couldn't we , spunky?" And she was like," yeah we could probably just beat him with our 20lb backpacks." So, I looked back, and the guys was following us!!!!! I screamed and was like'"RUN SPUNKY!!!!!" And she was like,"Yeah, real mature." Then, I said,"since when are we ever mature?" The. Spunky stopped me and said," Rey, that's a trombone player AND the band president." I was like,"Oh crap." Spunky said," yeah...you'll never be section leader." I agreed and said,"He'll hold a grudge against me for the rest of high school." By then, we were at band hall.
