Marinette's P.O.V

Pain . That is all I feel right now . As a princess , I should not let anyone see me like this , but it was too much to bear . Mother and Father were on their way to an important meeting , when they were in an accident. But this was not likely. It was on purpose. Someone had placed a bomb under the vehicle and it exploded , leaving them dead . My guards and people are on high alert on what could happen . And I was now in charge . But I'm not ready .

"Princess, a word please ."

It was Master Fu . Or grandfather , as I would call him . He was all the family I had left here in China. ( I have no idea about Chinese culture , so if I had mention anything wrong , my deepest apologies.)

"Yes , what is it ?" , I said . He looked around , "follow me ."

We went to the garden and when we made sure no one was around , we went to the secret room . This was built so the royal family could be safe , if ever there was an attack. It was also used to store the most precious family heirlooms. I kept my emotions in check . Rule 18 for a princess : do not show emotions .

"Beloved princess, after your parents unfortunate death , the console thought it best if you would go in hiding ." No , I couldn't , what about my people . They are my responsibility now . "I am afraid I cannot , what would happen to my subjects while I am gone ? " . " Do not fret , the counsel and I will take care of everything , and we sent the most finest and skilled agents in all of China . But there is another problem ."

I was almost too afraid to ask , but a princess does not sit by and procrastinate. "What is it ? " . "You have to leave China ." "Excuse me! " , I exclaimed . "Your highness , please , the murderer of your parents are most likely are coming after you . And you are the last of the royal blood line , we have to protect you ." , Master Fu pleaded .

I thought about it . If I stay , I could get killed and leave my kingdom without a ruler . And if I leave , the killer would try to find me and finish me off . I want to stay , but I have to lure him away from here. My mind is set.

"I'll go ." , I said emotionless. Master Fu smiled , "I'll notify Plagg and Tikki of your arrival." My heart nearly left my chest . Plagg and Tikki. It has been such a long time . They used to babysit me , well , Tkki would , Plagg would just be his lazy self. But to me , they were part of my family . Blood or not. I got up to leave , but Master Fu called me back . "Princess, your mother would have wanted me to give you this . "

I gasped . It was my mother's lucky bracelet. She told me that dad gave it to her when he courted her and she was given good luck as she told me . I gently held the piece of jewelry in my hands . I put it on and vow to myself never to take it off ." Thank you " , I bowed and left to my room . It feels so lonely here. I would start packing my things , but my maids did that for me . I grabbed my bow and arrow and started to shoot at the targets at the far side of the room .

It may not be lady like , but I begged my parents to at least give me a few lesson on how to defend my self . So I am now a master in archery , fencing , and Kung fu . I stopped shooting and grabbed a few of my books and began reading .

2 hours later~

I closed the 20th book and saw that it was time for bed . It feels weird to know that tomorrow I would not be wearing my royal robes . I took one last look at myself in the mirror . Who knows how long until I get to wear them again . But , I would finally get to wear what everyone wears these days . But out of all of my royal attire , this one was my favorite . I made this myself.

I love to design . And my kingdom knows that . I just hope that the people in France won't judge me . But , I have to go to sleep , like in the rules . A princess must be presentable and never truant . And to make that happen , I would need my 8 hours of sleep . Goodnight .

~The next morning~

It was a tearful goodbye . The servants and guards of the castle have known me and cared for me since I was a child . It really hurts to leave them . But I have to . It is my duty. I had to be hidden to draw the monster away . When I arrived at the airport , I was in my disguise. And to my relief, no one recognize me .

I made my way to my private plane . In a few hours I'll be re - united with Plagg and Tikki . I wonder how they are doing .

Tikki's P.O.V.

I was a mess . I made sure that every part of the mansion was washed and free from spots . Hi, my name is Tikki Miraculous and I am the housewife of Plagg Miraculous. You would probably know mostly about Plagg . His cheese company is a big hit.

But anyway , I have to make sure everything is in order . My little bugaboo is coming to stay with me ! I remember when she was just a few years old , she would always call me 'wadybug' because most of my outfits are ladybug themes. And she would always call Plagg 'kitty' . He acted annoyed , but he really wasn't .

We had to move away because of Plagg's business, and we haven't seen my little bug since . But we kept in touch with mail and a few calls here and there , but not too often because of her tight schedule. But now , we get to have her over . Poor child , loosing a family member is never easy . But when Plagg told me it was a murder , I was seething that even Plagg grew scared of me . My little bug is in danger . And I would do anything in my power to keep her safe .

Plagg's P.O.V.

Finally! This dull meeting is over . I have to pick up my kitty from the airport soon . I told my assistant to prepare my files while go somewhere. I drove like a maniac all the way and made it in time . "Kitty cat" , I called out . Mari looks up , "uncle !" , she exclaims . I held out my arms and gave her a big hug . "Look at you ! It was almost like it was yesterday when I changed your diapers."

"I thought aunt Tikki did all of the work " , she said . I pouted , "I did some work too " . Like eating , I thought ."But enough chit chat , Tikki is waiting for us at home , where are your things ?" "Mas - I mean grandpa already sent them , they must be there by now ." Well , less work for me . "Okay kid , let's go ."

Marinette 's P.O.V.

Their house was beautiful!

"Uncle this place is amazing!" . Uncle Plagg smiles , " Thank you , I know it is ." I rolled my eyes same old uncle . We went in . "Plagg are you home ? I need help " , aunt Tikki's voice came from the kitchen . She was decorating a chocolate cake. "That looks amazing auntie " , I said . She stopped and looked at me wide eyed . "Mari! Oh you look so beautiful! How was your trip ? Are you tired ? Do you need anything ? Plagg , don't touch the cake , it's for Mari !"

I laughed . "Well , in order . Fine . A little bit . No , I'm good . And it's okay ." She smiled and gave me a hug . "I missed you so much " . " I missed you too " . Plagg looked at me . "You too uncle ."

I wonder what tomorrow brings.
