I forgot to mention that Brendan and May wear the outfits that Ruby and Sapphire wear but they also wear their original outfits as well. It's easier for me to find fitting pictures that way. Anyway here's a new chapter.

     There was a knock at the door. It had only been about fifteen minutes since she made it back home so (y/n) dried her tears and made her way to the door thinking that Gladion had come back. She did not want to see him at the moment but she wouldn't leave him outside knowing that the apartment the two shared was his only home in Hoenn.

      When she opened the door, Brendan and May greeted her instead. They were wearing fresh new outfits that reminded her of something but she couldn't quite remember what it was.

        "Did he come back yet?" May asked. (Y/n) shook her head in response. Her visitors just nodded and proceeded to the couch as she let them in. She wanted to know why Brendan hadn't told the full truth as well. He was with Gladion too when Zinnia showed up.

         "We brought you and Gladion's outfits. Turns out that Lisia had stayed up all night just to finish them. She said that she thought about all of the times she owed Brendan. I don't know what she meant by that but here you go," May said as she handed (y/n) a yellow wrapped box with green ribbon on it.

      (Y/n) gladly took the box and sat it in her room. When she returned, Brendan and May were watching her as she made her way to the couch to sit next to them.

         "Okay, now I know this isn't the best time to tell you this but Brendan has something important to tell you," May said as she nudged her friend.

      Before Brendan could even say anything, (y/n) said, "It's okay. I already know. I found Gladion after you left and found out about it then. I just want to know why you didn't tell me sooner." Brendan looked down a little.

        "I, umm. Gladion didn't want me to tell you or May everything so I left that up to him. Zinnia told us about everything that Teams Magma and Aqua have been stealing. She apparently is stealing keystones for mega evolution but she didn't tell us why. Look, (y/n), I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner," he said.

         "It's okay, but Gladion is still gone so we have to figure this out ourselves. Did Zinnia tell you where the teams will be striking next?" (y/n) said. Brendan shook his head in response.

      Great, now she had to come up with a plan to find the teams and stop them from reviving the legendaries. If only Arceus had told her in her dream more about where she could find the legendaries. It was a seriously evil pokémon but it still had some good left somewhere in there.

      The nightmare had gone like this: Gladion was carrying her through the same unknown forest but this time he did not say anything to her. It was just peaceful alone time between the two of them. Then after a while, Gladion told her that he was about put her down. She reluctantly allowed him to do so but as soon as she was safety standing on the ground, Gladion literally began to disappear.

      He faded away like an illusion. Then her surroundings changed and warped into the familiar background of the dream realm. Arceus floated in front of her. He gave her no time to adjust to her surroundings or the confusion that she found herself in.

      All the pokémon said was, "Your friends are dead. Killed by unimaginable power. That dream that you had of their deaths wasn't fake. It was completely real. You could be the one who killed them, you know this right? In fact, it's your fault that they're dead. Don't worry about telling your other friends. I'll persuade them into believing me. Not like they have much choice. I'm Arceus afterall," Arceus said. The pokémon looked at her with noticeable evil in his eyes.

      "Your lying...there's no way...you just want to get back at me for taking away your ability to control me. You piece of..." but she was cut of there.

        "Well, you're half right. I am still presently trying to regain my control over you, yes, but your friends really are dead. Killed by an unknown power. I'm not entirely sure whether it was you, but it is easy to place the blame on you since you've created so much evidence against yourself."

      "You need not worry about that though. It won't be long before I get Gladion to realize this too. And then once no on else is on your side, you'll realize that you need me. You can't go without my assistance," Arceus said.

         Shock and disbelief ran through her. She didn't think that terrible nightmares such as that one actually showed her real life events. That meant that a lot of things have been going wrong back in Alola.

      She glared at Arceus about to attack but instead Mew entered the dream realm and did so for her. Arceus was suprised by the sudden attack and was about to attack Mew until three pokémon that (y/n) had never seen before showed up behind Mew. Arceus seemed to back down and then he soon disappeared afterwards.

      "Mew? Why are you here?" (y/n) asked. She hadn't given the pokémon permission to enter the dream realm but they had chased off Arceus so she didn't even care at this point.

         "Aww, I thought you'd be happier to see me (y/n)! I came to help you out again. You seemed like you could use a little help so I brought you some of my friends. They were happy to help when I asked! They hate Arceus too!" Mew said in his/her usual happy voice.

      (Y/n) and Mew had become great friends back in Kanto but Mew had suddenly stopped visiting her and Gladion for some unknown reason which made (y/n) wonder if Arceus had anything to do with that.

         "Thanks, Mew. Who are your friends?" she asked. Mew turned towards his/her companions and introduced them.

      "Latios, Latias, and Deoxys! They're Hoenn natives! Well Deoxys isn't but he said that he'd live there once he made it there. He's in outer space right now," Mew said as he/she pondered the last few sentences.

        "When can I see you? I might really need your help," (y/n) asked. Mew was one of her only sources kf help.

         "You can find me here in Hoenn. I'll be waiting in a special spot in Petalburg Forest. A legend like me can't just go flying around everywhere ya know!" Mew said with a little laugh.

      Before (y/n) could say anything else, Mew and the others disappeared much like when Mew disappeared the last time he/she visited the dream realm. That was when she still thought Arceus could control her. (Y/n) woke up from her nightmare turned dream and things went downhill from there.
 
      "(Y/n)? Hello! Are you okay? Please tell me you haven't lost your mind! Brendan how do I get her mind back?!" May yelled as she was violently shaking (y/n) but the shoulders.

         (Y/n) snapped back to present tense and then said, "Whhaaa?! What happened?" May let her go and she fell backwards onto the couch.

      "She seems fine to me," Brendan said. (Y/n) sat up on the couch and looked at the two of them.

        "You kind of zoned out on us for a minute there. Are you okay?" Brendan said. May nodded agreeing to everything Brendan said.

          "Oh, umm, yeah I'm okay. I just remembered something which reminded me of where we can start our search. A friend of mine wanted to meet me in Petalburg Forest. Do you guys know where that is?" (y/n) said. They both nodded.

        "Great! Pack anything useful cause we gotta go like right now!" (y/n) said as she hopped from the couch and fist bumbed the air. Brendan and May did the same and the three of them gathered their pokémon and packed some malasadas that (y/n) had made along with lava cookies that May got from some lady in the mountains which were both stored in (y/n)'s fridge. The trio then sprinted in the direction of Petalburg Forest doing their best to avoid any passerbyers.

        "If I can stop this entire conflict before it begins then Gladion won't have to worry about me or any of this stupid nonsense. Then I can help Brendan with his father problems and I can help May get her wish! This would all be over!" (y/n) thought to herself as she followed after Brendan and May who took the lead.

Again, sorry about the delay. I really am trying to get these chapters written. I decided to play Omega Ruby a little so I could get some ideas but that didn't work so I played Ultra Moon and finally beat the league and then I started thinking about this story I had to write and the ideas just started flowing.Weird right? Also, I didn't remember what gender I made Mew in the last book so I just gave you guys the option to choose. Anyways, until next time my awesome readers!
