Mikasa mounted her horse next to Captain Levi. She was assigned an expedition with him at the last minute with a few other cadets. Some smiled, some frowned, and some were plain scared. Levi glanced back at her as the Gates of the Walls opened up. This time Hanji was following them outside to see some Titans and maybe capture a few. "Yes! Yes! YES!!" Hanji squealed as she jumped on top of her horse just behind the two. "Titans, Titans, TITANS!! I wonder if we can go see some today! Ooh! Or maybe even capture a few!!" she kept squealing annoying the heck out of Levi. "Shut it Four Eyes!"

Mikasa sighed as she stared at the short man on a horse. It was a ridiculous sight but she couldn't help but chuckle softly. "What?" Levi asked looking at her, slightly annoyed. "Oh, nothing..." she lied. "See you outside then." he nodded as he lashed his horse with the leather reins, galloping out of the group, leading them as always. There was always this leadership about him that Mikasa could never forget. No matter what happened, or what was about to come. No matter the casualties, or small incidents, the Captain never backed down and appeared weak before his comrades. You could immediately tell he was destined to be a leader, no doubt about it. Mikasa lashed her reins and followed Levi out the Walls leading a few others behind her. Most of the cadets knew her as the 1st graduate of the 104th Trainee Corps or the best soldier there ever was, besides Captain Levi or course, earning her a great deal of respect. The cadets followed after her and Levi leading the group, when Hanji burst through the opening, suddenly jutting in between the two of them. "Titans, here I come!" she yelled as she sped up, passing them. "Hanji!" Levi yelled after her. She couldn't hear her above the wind blowing through her face and ears, along with the commotion and racket of galloping horses across the plains. Instead, Hanji let out an excited yell and rode even faster.

"Ugh, Shitty Glasses..." Levi sighed just within earshot of Mikasa as she reared up closer to him. "Follow me. We're taking a shortcut." Levi ordered as he made a sharp turn cutting in front of her. Mikasa silently nodded and followed orders. Levi's horse was away faster than the others, even faster than hers. They dashed through the trees avoiding branches and leaves. Levi kept his head down, while Mikasa did the same. They made their way to the opening catching up with Hanji who dashed after a Titan in front of her. Suddenly a shadow loomed over them. As Mikasa looked up, she saw a Titan closing in on her. Would she react in time?
