Boom. After the explosion, there wasn't anything but silence. The wreckage of the humanoid build was scattered all over the open field. The population looked over each other, taking care. Meanwhile, our beloved heroes were heartbroken, still processing the sacrifice that Emmet had made. Lucy ripped her spacesuit off, sprinting towards the rubble. "No, no, no, no, no." She searched through the pieces, brick by brick, yet she found nothing.

"Emmet." Lucy huffed as she didn't quite give up that easily, "You didn't just do that." She suddenly found a piece of life in all the lifeless pile of junk, it wasn't Emmet, but it was Planty.

Lucy held the plant close to her, she couldn't handle it. She burst into tears, falling to her knees and sobbing at the very top of the entire mess. Unikitty hovered over, snuggling Lucy. Benny flew aside joining the act of care, MetalBeard did the same as his friend. General Mayhem took her helmet off shoving it aside as she comforted her friend. Batman held both his wife and son's hands, going toward the group. 

The crowd observed as the fellowship of strangers embraced and grieved their friend together. The Justice League was speechless not going anything out of respect. Mr. Gold contained himself, intending to respect the sacrifice. Tin Man and the outcasts decided to hug each other, as a way to show their condolences. Clutch and Bonnie were observed doing the same. Suddenly the entire nation began to unite under one. What once was reigned by conflict and war, was now reigned by friendship and peace.

Bianca observed as her brother was tearing up on the floor, "Finn, what's wrong."

"I'm broken." Finn admitted, "Bianca, I am so sorry. I don't know what I have become."

"It's okay." Bianca kneeled down comforting her brother, "We can fix this together."

Unexpectedly, the wreckage began to move. Bricks were being shoved aside, something was about to show. The movements forced everyone to step aside. It was Emmet, not as a ghost, but in flesh. Lucy's jaw dropped, could Emmet possibly be alive?

"Let's rebuild this together." Bianca teased, "What do you say?"

Finn wiped his tears, he simply gave her a positive nod.

Then both headed back to work.

Emmet began to float reassembling a strange building that was soon to be revealed as his house. He then sealed the roof, keeping himself inside. Lucy gasped, she shoved everyone out of her way, rushing inside. She screamed in joy, "EMMET!"

Emmet rubbed his eyes, confused, not really sure of what happened, "Huh?"

"YOU'RE ALIVE." Lucy ran towards him giving him a warm loving hug, "You scared me."

"I'm sorry." Emmet giggled quite nervously, "I didn't mean to."

Lucy then fixed herself back into her serious demeanor, "Just don't do that again, please."

"I'll try." Emmet promised, holding her hand.

The couple walked outside, raising their hands together. The entire crowd cheered in happiness, glad that their hero made it out alive.

"HOORAY!" Unikitty jumped at him giving him a lick.

Clutch nudged Emmet, winking at him, "I knew you'd make it kid."

"Congrats." Bonnie said dryly, trying to now show much emotion.

"SPACESHIP!" Benny exclaimed as he flew around them happily.

MetalBeard spat on Emmet's space as an act of thanking him, "Yarr ye did it."

"You are awesome." Sweet Mayhem patted Emmet's shoulder.

"You absolutely rocked." Queen Watevra kissed Emmet's cheek.

"EEK." Robin took a selfie with Emmet, "I KNOW A PERSON THAT SAVED THE WORLD!"

Emmet then turned to Batman who was staring at him saying nothing, Batman sighed, "Listen, Emmet, I know I wasn't always the nicest person to you. But I got to admit, you have guts and you are truly a hero."

Emmet smiled, "Thanks."

Mr. Gold grabbed Emmet's hands raising them high, "WE ARE NOW SEVERAL NATIONS UNITED AS ONE. LED BY QUEEN WATEVRA WA'NABI AND HER HUSBAND BRUCE WAYNE."

"THAT'S NOT MY NAME." Batman shouted back at him.

Mr. Gold ignored the complaint and continued his speech, "WE SHALL REBUILD OUR HOME FROM SCRAP AND PUT OUR DIFFERENCES ASIDE."

Parker L. Jackson proceeds to shake a Mixel's hand, pulling him into a hug. 

Superman shrugged, "You heard the guy folks." As he burst into the sky rebuilding the statue of liberty.
