I texted Ophelia twice. Once to say 'it was Percy from the aquarium' and the second one to say 'hey' since she never responded to the first text. She responded with a 'hey' back and I've been staring at my phone ever since. I wasn't sure what I was going to respond with. Grant was out solving the problem with that girl from yesterday who shouted at our door, so it wasn't like I could avoid giving a response. I guess I took too long because my phone started to ring and her name popped up. Being the tactless man that I am, I immediately picked up the call.

"Hello?" I said. 

"Hey, you never responded so I thought I'd call incase something had happened to you." Ophelia's voice said through the speaker. 

"Oh um I'm alright actually. Just chilling at home." I mentally facepalmed at my answer.

"I see. Well I actually called to see if you were up for grabbing something for dinner. I'd say drinks but we're both underage." 

"Uh," my mouth went dry. Did I just get asked out? 

"Percy? Are you still there?" I cleared my throat and swallowed saliva. 

"Yes I'm still here. I'd love to grab dinner. When were you thinking?" 

"Tonight. Are you available?" 

"Tonight? Right of course I should have realized um yeah, tonight should work I'll let Grant know." 

"Grant?" 

"Oh um, my brother. And my roommate." 

"I see." I could hear the curiosity in her voice. 

"I'll tell you all about him at dinner." I promised. 

"Perfect. How about seven at Cordelia's, the little place on the south side of Central Park?" She said, obviously smiling. 

"I will see you there." I said. Ophelia hung up the phone and I stood in the living room of the apartment for at least fifteen minutes but it might have been longer because I was still standing there when Grant came home. 

"Uh hey there Perce. What are you doing?" Grant asked, looking at me weirdly. 

"What time is it?" 

"Six." I stood in the living room for pretty much the entire day. 

"I'm going on a date that's what I'm doing." I said, somewhat robotically walking into my bedroom to get dressed.
