Cedar froze, as his eyes met the ginger cat below him. He had blown his cover.

Quickly, he started to jump from the tree.

Before he could, the ginger cat rolled onto her stomach and held her legs out. "Get off me you mouse-brained cat!" she yelled.

"You think I'm the mouse brain-" he wheezed, "wild cat! I'll- I'll show you mouse-brained!" He replied.

As he was wheezing, the ginger cat rolled over and struck him as he caught his breath.

Cedar was surprised at how well the wildcat was fighting. He didn't meet many rogues like this.

The two of them tumbled for a while until finally the ginger cat somehow managed to pin him to the forest ground.

Cedar struggled for a bit, but he realized that he had been defeated. He closed his eyes and expected the worst.

But the ginger cat just stood on top of him, her face was hard to read.

"So, are you just going to stand there, or are you going to do something?"

She got up off of him. "You're coming with me," She said firmly.

Fair enough, He thought.

As they walked farther and farther from the edge of the forest, Cedar started to worry. Where could this ginger cat possibly take me, she looks like a clan cat and does fight like one, but she's most certainly not a rogue, Cedar thought.

"So who are you?" Cedar asked.

"First of all I'm Vixenclaw," she replied.

"Where are you taking me?" Cedar asked demandingly.

"Stop. This is my home and this is where you stay while I eat," Vixenclaw demanded.

Is she really leaving me here? Cedar thought. I can escape to my other rogue friends, Pine and Mossy. 

Then he made a break for it. He ran and ran until he couldn't run anymore. Then he realized how lost he was.

He heard a cat's feet stomp. Cedar was petrified. He crouched ready to attack. Soon he realized it was his friend, Pine. "You scared me, Pine," Cedar mowed.

"You get scared as easily as a wild cat," The dark tabby replied.

"Ha ha," Cedar chuckled trying not to bring up the topic that he was defeated by one earlier today.
