Chapter 11
Cedarmask looked up to see a patrol of eyes staring at him.
"What are you doing on our territory, fox-heart?" The gray and white tom, who he knew was Nettlefrost, spat.
"Uh... What do you mean by I'm on your territory, this is RainClan's territory!" He lied.
"This our territory, mouse-brain, and I would get off if I were you," Vixenclaw growled.
Cedarmask smiled. "Oh Vixenclaw, it's so nice to see you again!"
Vixenclaw's eyes grew big. Apparently, she had not told most of her clanmates about their little skirmish at the border from a while ago.
"What is he talking about, Vixenclaw?" A black and white tom asked. "Where do you know him from?"
"That doesn't matter right now, what matters is getting him off of our territory," She growled.
"No, for now, we will take him back to camp for questioning, Vixenclaw you will have no part in this because we can't be sure you're not on RainClan's side," Nettlefrost replied.
Vixenclaw was outraged. "What do you mean you can't be sure? I've been living in DawnClan for almost two seasons!" she exclaimed.
Cedarmask just grinned
"We will discuss this later," He growled.
They started walking to DawnClan's territory. A small, white she-cat walked up to Vixenclaw. Must be her apprentice, He thought.
"Vixenclaw, you're not on RainClan's side, are you?" She asked, looking terrified.
"No!" Vixenclaw exclaimed. "But I do know him. A while ago, we had and encounter at the border while I was hunting. Right after that, you were made my apprentice, so I forgot all about it, and thought it wasn't worth telling anybody."
Me, not worth telling anybody? He thought. Sounds about right.
