Chapter 7

Ice

——

I was escorted to the palace, not a sound was made from the Royal Guards. It seemed like they were the terracotta warriors in China. Haha. Hilarious. When we reached the palace, a girl who looked much like the wretched boy in front of of the Crestwood's humble home.

"I will take her from here." She commanded, a gentle but strong power in her voice.

"But Princess, Prince Flame commanded us to escort her to his quarters." The second in command informed. He seemed irritated and on a short fuse, as if he was about to blow any minute now.

"I will make sure she will be there, if anything happens, I will take the blame." The princess said in a gentle tone, but you could tell there was a silent threat.

"Yes, Princess. As you wish." The Royal Guards replied, then disappeared like shadows melting in the walls. As if they were never there.

"Hello, Ice. You should follow me. How have you been doing?" The princess asked as I followed her through the maze of corridors.

"I doing as well as a prisoner can. Do I know you?" I answered icily.

"Oh, how rude of me. Let me introduce myself. I am Princess Stellaris Clispar Solara Alpha. What a mouthful. However, I believe you may recognise me as Star."

Star, Star. Where have I heard that name before? Where on earth have I heard that name before? Was it River? No, Yes! Wait, Yes! The 'She is so beautiful, I would die without her girl.' My brother's one and only beloved girlfriend. Wait, what? But I didn't expect her to be the princess! Let alone an Alpha! How on earth did he get caught up with her? I'm going to have a 'chat' with the idiot, I call my brother.

"Do not despair, your brother is not an idiot nor a traitor. In fact, I'm part of the Rebellion. I'm one of you. But now we are really off topic. What I'm trying to stay is that I'm going to get you out of here. But I believe that since you are here you want to see one thing am I right? Your parents?"

Her question had caught me off guard, this was the last thing I was expecting to do when I got to the this prison of a castle. We had gone through a maze of corridors and arrived at an enormous hall. In the center stood two ice figures, more specifically, my parents.

I ran towards them and fell to my knees. Then I let all the emotions I had kept since I was 4 years old. I hadn't cried since they were taken away from me, but now I cried. Cried enough to fill a river.
