A loud roar was heard as Earth was zoomed in and a creature was shown

Narrator: Pokémon. Many different types of Pokémon live all over some in the wild others as pets, some even stick by people's side these people are called Pokémon trainers. Trainers are people who want to learn more about Pokémon then they already know. There is one boy who will reach that point his name is Dakota Draco

It showed a small boy who seemed to be 5 as he was walking down his stairs and ran to his back yard

Dakota: Arcanine! Here girl! Come here big girl!

Just then a creature that seemed to have the size of a bear, mane of a lion, fur pattern of a tiger, and acted like a dog started running towards Dakota who ended up pouncing on him

Arcanine then quietly growled at the boy before she was licking him

Dakota: *laughing* Okay, okay, okay I know you're happy to see me too

Arcanine then got off him as he then gave her good scratches

Dakota: Who's a good girl? Who's a good girl? You are. Your the good girl

???: Playing with Arcanine as usual Red

Dakota stopped doing what he was doing and saw the first ever friend he made

Dakota: Hey Misty

Dakota ran up towards her, but ended up tripping halfway there and hit his fence

Misty: *sigh* You're going to severely hurt yourself if you don't watch where you're going

Dakota: Hehe

Dakota then jumped up to his feet

Dakota: Well no pain, no gain you know?

Misty: So? You got everything packed?

Dakota: Yep! Let's go

Dakota and Misty ended up walking to a spot where the ocean was and just sat on the cliff edge relaxing

Timeskip 4 years later

Dakota was now 9 years old however a slight difference was that he was now afraid of the ocean and he was moving out of Cerulean City

Dakota: Mom do we have to leave?

Mom: Yes sweetie, but the bright side you could make new friends

Dakota: What if I don't want new friends

Mom: I know it's going to be tough sweetie, but please understand it's not because of you

Dakota: Okay

Dakota then walked out back to be greeted by Arcanine

Dakota: Hi Arcanine

Dakota began to pet the side of Arcanine's head causing him to have a small smile

Timeskip

Dakota and his mom was packing up well his mom was while he was talking to Misty

Dakota: Don't worry Misty I'll come back I promise

Misty: You better or else

Dakota only laughed nervously while scratching the back of his head and then remembered something

Dakota: Oh! I almost forgot

Dakota then ran to one of the boxes and grabbed what seemed like a necklace

Dakota: Here something to help you remember me

Dakota held out a necklace with a Ponyta that decorated it

Misty: Well here's something to remember me by

Misty handed him a picture of the two of them when they were little then quickly kissed him on the cheek causing him to blush slightly

After that Dakota and Misty hugged each other goodbye and Dakota got in his mother's car as they took off

Timeskip 1 year later

After getting settled in for a year in Pallet Town Dakota's personality began to change he was still energetic, but his joyfulness was disappearing

Dakota eventually woke up one morning and scratched his Growlith behind the ear which was given to him by his mom after Arcanine found him

Dakota: Heh morning little guy. I'll see you when your downstairs

Dakota walked down to the kitchen and saw a note

Dakota: Dear, Dakota I went to visit Professor Oak I'll be back in awhile in the meantime get yourself breakfast from Mom. Well what is there?

Dakota made himself breakfast and after eating he went out back to see Arcanine

Dakota: Hey there girl ready to go exploring again

Arcanine barked happily as they went in a forest and stayed on the path they were told to

Dakota: Man it looks like nothing here

Just then he felt scorching heat with a cold wind and almost got hit by a lightning bolt

Dakota: The heck was that?!

Dakota then looked up as three different giant bird looking Pokémon appeared

Dakota was shocked to see all three legendary bird Pokémon, but what he heard really surprised him

Fire: Greetings Dakota

Dakota: Woah! You can talk and how do you know my name

Blue: We are the Legendary Birds we fly every where meaning we know quite a few people

Dakota: So why are you showing yourselves to me anyways?

Yellow: We thought about it for some time and realized not everyone is as caring to Pokémon as others meaning one of us by your choosing will have us as your partner. Will you pick Moltres, Articuno, or me Zapdos?

Dakota looked at each of them thinking on who he would pick after a minute he made his decision

Dakota: I pick Moltres

Moltres: Very well then it will be great training by your side

Dakota then took out a Pokéball from the bag Arcanine was holding and Moltres taped the button and got sucked into the ball as a sudden click was heard signifying that he caught Moltres

Dakota then went to Arcanine

Dakota: We have to show mom and Professor Oak this girl

Arcanine let out a agreeable bark as Dakota hopped on her back and she took off

Timeskip

Eventually Dakota made it to Oak's lab and saw his mom too

Mom: Arcanine? What are you doing here girl?

Dakota: Hi mom

Dakota hopped down from Arcanine

Mom: Dakota what happened

Dakota: I caught Moltres

The two adults looked at the boy then at each other

Oak: Dakota you wouldn't mind showing us would you?

Dakota: Not at all

Dakota then opened the Pokéball containing Moltres as the two adults were shocked he returned Moltres back in the Pokéball

Dakota: See?

Oak and his mother was shocked seeing him have 1 of the 3 legendary birds
