Episode 2: Rise of the Iron Avengers

Back to where we left off...

Old Tony: "Vision!"

Upon bursting into James' bungalow open before running to his fallen comrade.

Vision: "My apologies. The drones in Ultra-City have been upgraded. One was able to damage my immaterial form as I left."

Old Tony: "Were you followed?"

Vision: "Negative. Did I set off the alarms? Perhaps my electronic access keys were damaged? And how odd...this doesn't look like the control center."

Old Tony: "Everything's going to be alright."

Taking one of Vision's arms around his shoulder as he began to haul him out of the bungalow.

Old Tony: "C'mon, let's get you to the workshop. *Turns to the confused kids* Stay here."

As Tony left the bungalow with Vision, Pym took this opportunity to scream to proceed on what just happened.

The kids broke out of their stupor and rushed out the bungalow, watching Tony carrying Vision away.

James: "Tony?"

Tony sighed, as he continued walking away.

Old Tony: "Look, I know you have questions. I promise I'll explain everything, but later. Right now, I have to take care of my friend. Please stay in your rooms. *Turns to his son* Zachary, come with me. I may need your help with Vision."

Zachary: "Uhh alright, pop?"

Zachary then followed his father, leaving the rest of the kids alone only to watch them go. Tony and Zachary walked slowly to the courtyard Torunn had been visiting his father's hammer and Tony carried poor Vision over to a pillar before placing his palm on the icon, as a bright blue light erupted from underneath the Iron Man's head.

Behind the two figures, the center of the courtyard opened up to reveal a secret passage way down to Tony Stark's armory underground. As the Starks carried Vision into the passage, they didn't notice five sets of eyes watching after them.

Pym: "We're going after them, right?"

James: "Yeah."

Torunn: "Aye."

Azari: "No no. Absolutely not! Tony said wait, so we're wait. He'll explain everything; we need to respect his wishes."

Azari cracked his electricity, creating a very intimidating image. However, Torunn smirked as she whipped out her sword and absorbed the power of the African boy emitted. Azari was then stunned, and groaned in defeat when his power no longer surround him.

James: "You coming, Kev?"

Kevin: "Something's definitely going on and I want to find it what it is, so... Yeah, I'm in. Pym, follow my lead."

Pym nodded at him and the two tech duos use their combine knowledge to open the secret passageway. Then the duo shared a fist bump, smirking.

Pym: "Did you guys know the entrance was a secret door? I didn't and I'm way smarter than all of you. Maybe besides Kevin..."

Kevin: "C'mon, Pixie, don't fall behind."

As the four go down the passageway, Pym shrunk down and follows the others. Everyone was surprised as they never knew that Tony had a secret armory.

Torunn: "How could we have lived here all this time and not known about this?"

Azari: "Guys, we're going to be in so much trouble."

Kevin: "Oh, don't be such a pussycat, Azari. Tony won't even know we're here. We'll be like ninjas or something."

While walking, James started to feel deja vu.

James: "I think I've been here before when I was a kid. I remember holding onto this rail. I was falling on it. I remember being scared."

Pym: "That sounds like you, big old scar-"

He was then bumped into something hard. He stepped away and looked closer it was a robot version of Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther and Spider-Man, and behind them all was the Giant Man:

Everyone was stunned at this.

Azari: "What is this?"

James: "These are our parents."

Kevin: "F-Father...?"

Pym: "It's just like the story. That's my dad; Giant Man. That's James' parents; the Soldier (Captain America) and the Spy (Black Widow). Azari's dad; the King (Black Panther). Even Kevin's dad; the Spider (Spider-Man), and there's Torunn's dad; the Thunder God (Thor). *Flies to Iron Thor* Maybe that's her mom. I mean, look at the hair."

Kevin: "Pym, stop that already!"

Pym: "Okay, okay, I'm sorry!"

Torunn looked at the robot version of her father while Kevin looks at his, knowing deep down he's not real and just a robot version of it which he finds pretty cool.

Azari: "*Looks at Iron Hawkeye* Who's that?"

Torunn: "The Archer, maybe?"

Kevin: "Hawkeye. Hm, I wonder if he has a son for himself, too? If so, then where is he?"

Torunn: "The Pixie is missing and the Knight, too."

Pym: "Guys, Tony called that robot "Vision". That Vision is the Ghost!"

The four looked over at James, who stood still in front of Iron Captain America.

Torunn: "Why would Tony keep this from us?"

Kevin: "I don't know but something tells me he wasn't really keeping this a secret. He must have a reason for having these."

Azari: "You know, we shouldn't be in here. If he wanted us to know about these things, he would tell us. Now we should keep going if we're going to spy on him. Find him, I mean!"

Azari walked away, followed by Pym, then both Kevin and Torunn were going to go after them but they see James continued staring at his robot version of his father.

Torunn: "James, come on!"

Kevin: "I think you'd better look after, James. Make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous or stupid, ok?"

Torunn nodded at him, as Kevin went and followed Azari and Pym, leaving Torunn alone with James. The trio continued down the path, quietly.

A pair of doors opened as Kevin, a normal-sized Pym, and Azari stepped through onto a raised walkway.

Old Tony: "Just relax, old friend..."

Kevin: "Shh!"

Old Tony: "I need to see how extensive the damage is. How did they find you?"

The trio walked over to look over the side of the walkway to see Tony and his son scanning Vision while the android lay on a table of sorts.

Vision: "I was accessing the mainframe."

Pym: "Eww! Robot guts!"

Kevin covered Pym's mouth, shushing him.

Kevin: "Shaddup, Pym!"

Vision: "All of Europe has been subjugated to the machine forces since my last report. Drones are gathering along the Pacific Rim and Eastern Europe. The invasion of Asia will soon commence."

Old Tony: "In 13 years, he's conquered half the planet."

Kevin spoke in his head, confused yet cautious.

Kevin: (Invasion? Conquered? What are they talking about? And by who?)

Zachary: "We'll have to ensure that there's a chance his reign ends this year."

Vision: "Also, Clint Barton's son is alive."

Old Tony: "What?"

Zachary: "Who?"

Azari: "Hey, who's Clint Barton?"

Pym: "Maybe he was the knight. Or the Pixie!"

Kevin: "The Pixie's your mother, moron! Clint is most definitely Hawkeye. He's the Archer!"

Vision: "That is not all, Mister Stark. Barton is working with other children with superpowered abilities: Marinette, the Ladybug, Kamala Khan, the Marvel, Violet & Dash, the Parr siblings, and the Nora, Samuel Alexander, have been aiding him. Keeping him safe."

Kevin: (Other heroes? Like us?)

Zachary: "Where are they?"

The trio continued watching Tony and his son repairing Vision that is until Pym started slipping and with a yelp almost fell but Kevin quickly caught him in time thanks to his trusty Spider-Sense. Unfortunately, Tony and his son heard that and looked to see the trio as Kevin pulled Pym back as Azari patted his head.

Old Tony: "Pym? Kevin? Azari? What are you three doing down here?"

Kevin: "Oh crap! Busted!"

But then, Tony notices his tools are shaking, and on the screen is a warning that the Iron Avengers are somehow activated and has been launched.

Kevin: (Something tells me Jimbo's done something dangerous or stupid while we were spying on Tony.)

Zachary: "There's some kind of interference in the technology."

Jocasta: "Iron Avengers Launch Sequence Initiated. Iron Avengers Launch."

Old Tony: "Oh no."

Immediately, Tony typed as fast as he could on the keyboard, all the while, keeping his eyes on the radar that had announced the launch that Iron Avengers. Zachary looked at his father, worried.

Old Tony: "Jocasta, send reserve power to long-range radar."

The trio, meanwhile, jumped down on Tony's level, looking worried as well.

Azari: "Tony, this was not my idea, it was-"

Old Tony: "Boys, grab Vision's head."

The trio looked at each other and then turned to Vision, who is smiling at them.

Vision: "Hello, Henry, Pym, Kevin."

Kevin: "Won't that like kill him?"

Old Tony: "Boys, now!"

Not saying another word, Kevin and the two went near Vision's head, and Pym gently took off the Android's head, leaving the kids minus Zachary mostly shocked.

Pym: "Awesome!"

Jocasta: "Multiple Radar Contacts! Designation: Iron Avengers."

Pym: "What's going on?"

Before Tony could respond on the radar screen while it showed the Iron Avengers on the screen, it then showed one red dot that seemed to be alone. Tony immediately knows what it is.

Torunn: "Tony!"

Tony turned to see Torunn and James, who had a look of fear on their faces.

James: "I'm sorry. There were these robots that looked like our parents, and then-"

Tony looked at them before looking back at the screen.

Torunn: "I think he knows."

Kevin: "Yeah... Way a go, James."

Old Tony: "We're leaving!"

He then pressed a button, watching the radar.

Azari: "What you mean 'leaving'?"

Pym: "Leaving? Leaving as in we're leaving here? But, but, we've never left here!"

Old Tony: "Get to the Control Center! We don't have much time. Vision will explain."

James: "Vision? What about you?"

Jocasta: "Alert! Black Widow: Offline."

Old Tony: "There's no time! You kids have to get to the Control Center! Now!"

The entrance closed as the six children of the Avengers ran out to where they were told to go, while Pym was carrying Vision's head.

Jocasta: "Iron Thor: Offline."

Torunn: "We shouldn't have left him."

Azari: "He told us too! We have to get to the Control Center! That's what he said!"

Jocasta: "Iron Black Panther: Offline."

James: "Those robots... the Iron Avengers? Why are they going offline?"

Jocasta: "Iron Spider-Man: Offline."

Kevin: "Well, who else is offline!?"

Drakosta: "Iron Captain America: Offline."

Zachary: "You were saying, Kev?"

Kevin: "Oh shaddup and keep running!"

Vision: "The enemy has developed the ability to infect machinery corrupting and overriding with its own. There is a high probability that the Iron Avengers have been compromised."

Kevin: "So you're telling us that Tony built those robot versions of our parents and fight a robot who can corrupt them? Am I the only one who see's this as a major problem?"

Zachary: "Nope."

Vision: "He was the last of them. Ultron will be coming for us now."

Pym: "Wait wait wait! Ultron? Ultron is coming here?"

The group feels a tremor run through the place they knew to be home. Something blasted through what they knew to be the sky, revealing a ceiling made up a hundred or thousands of hexagonal panels that turned grey. The clear blue and fluffy clouds dissipated as each tile went blank.

Torunn and Zachary grabbed Azari, James, Kevin and Pym, who held onto Vision's head, and flew out of the way before any of the heavy tilings that were blasted apart could crush them.

James felt something cold on his cheek and turned to see it was snowing out.

The group could only shield their eyes as a red orb came into view and started floating down into their home.

The children lowered their arms to see who it was, only to come face-to-face with big bad menacing android himself: Ultron.

Ultron: "Children? Unexpected. Assessment: Potential Threats. Commencing Termination."

And with that, Ultron began powering up an energy beam that shot out of its palm.

Kevin: "Um... So, I guess talking things out ain't the question?"

Ultron was suddenly then flung away by the Iron Avenger himself: Iron Man.

Iron Man shot his uni-beam from the circular jewel on his chest plate, pushing Ultron back a couple of hundred yards.

Pym: "The Knight... Iron Man."

Zachary: "Dad?"

Iron Man's face mask opened up to reveal Old Tony Stark inside the suit, looking at his son.

Old Tony: "Get to the Control Center! I'll hold it off!"

Zachary: "But-"

The sound of rockets reached the group's ears. They looked up to find Ultron shooting up into the air.

Old Tony: "Zachary, go! I'll be right behind you! Go!"

His face mask was back in place as Iron Man flew to join Ultron in the air.

Torunn: "This is wrong! We have to help him!"

Vision: "Children! Do as Iron Man says. You must protect the others, Torunn. Your safety is of utmost importance. Iron Man will join you all shortly."

Zachary: "Dad..."

Everyone then ran to the Control Center. But Kevin noticed the angered look on Torunn's face.

Kevin: "Torunn, we gotta go! We can't stay here! Look, Tony's giving us a chance to escape. I know you wanna help him, trust me, me too. But we're outnumbered. Ultron's too strong for us and he has our robot parents mostly on his side. The best course of action is to get to the Control Center and escape. That's what Tony wants us to do. Please, Torunn. I don't want to lose you."

Torunn thought for a moment before turning to Kevin and nodded at him with tears streaming down her face. Kevin extends a hand and Torunn grabbed it, as the pair ran to the Control Center.

The children then made it to the Control Center and enter in the Quinjet as Torunn held onto her sword in case if needed.

Pym places Vision's head onto a small platform with controls.

Pym: "Stay, robot-head. We'll be right back."

As the group goes out to help Tony, Vision suddenly glowed red and spoke:

Vision: "Vision override, command code, Quinjet."

Pym: "What's a Quinjet?"

The exit behind them closes, shocking the group as chairs appeared before them. The jet rose from its resting spot and left the dome. Everyone look outside and see their home.

Vision: "Please take your seats, children. We are launching."

Azari: "Launching?"

The ships thrusters fired up, shooting the ship into the sky and knocking each of the children into a seat as they tried to hold on.

James: "No! NO! STOP! Go back!"

His cries were unheard as the ship flew out of the hole Ultron had created in the ceiling.

Pym: "Whoa..."

The group then looked wide-eyed at the sight of a crashed airship near the dome of their home. Meanwhile, Zachary looked at the screen, showing off Old Tony Stark got beaten by Ultron and has the entire Iron Avengers by his side:

Zachary: "Oh no. Dad!"

Pym: "It's got Tony! Look! They're taking him!"

Torunn: "Stupid robot! Do as we say! Turn this ship around now!"

Vision: "I will not. Mister Stark sacrificed himself in order to keep you kids safe and that is what we will do. Stay safe. Stay hidden. There are parts of the world where Ultron has not breached. Far away from Ultra City. I have a set course for the Savage Land."

Kevin heard that, horrified.

Kevin: "No. No! NO NO NO! Not the Savage Land! I hate it!"

Azari: "The 'Savage Land'?"

Pym: "That sounds horrible!"

Vision: "Parts of it...are quite...nice...and...you'll... Alert: Reserve Power Depleting. Recharge Re-"

Azari: "Sir?"

Zachary: "Vision? Hey! Don't shut down on us!"

Pym check on Vision's head.

Pym: "He's out of juice!"

Azari: "Well, that's just great! What now?"

Pym: "I think I can get him up and running, I'll need to reconfigure his power matrix-"

Torunn: "I say thee nay. I will not run, and I will not hide. I am the daughter of Thor and Ultron will pay for what he's done."

Azari: "But Tony wanted us to be safe. Going after Ultron is the exact opposite. James, back me up."

Everyone looked at James, who is looking out the window with a guilty expression.

Azari: "James?"

Torunn: "James?"

James: "I led Ultron to our home. Tony's gone because of me."

Torunn: "No! We're going after Ultron! Pym, take the controls and set course to Ultra City."

Pym grinned, taking a seat at the controls.

Pym: "I'm on it, Torunn! Uh, two questions: Where do you fly this thing and where is Ultra City?"

Kevin: "Here, let me help you there, bud. There's no way in hell I'm going to the Savage Land. No thank you."

Zachary: "You haven't even been to the Savage Land, so how come you hate it there?"

Kevin: "I've been researching and gathering photos around the world on Earth, and your father tell me stories about how my father became a horrible Man-Spider and almost hunted and killed by this Hunter: Kraven. No way in hell I'm gonna experience the same thing."

Kevin and Pym worked together, combining their big brains and with a few minutes passing, a pair managed to set coordinates for Ultra City instead of the Savage Land. Then the two boys shared a fist bump, smirking in victorious.

Kevin/Pym: "Score one for the smart ones!"

Zachary: "Nice job, you two. Alright, we set the coordinates and it's going to take a while for us to get there. So let's all try and get some rest. We all need it."

The five nodded at Zachary and everyone went into their seats and sat down to get some rest.

Hours had passed and Kevin is then seen softly snoring in his chair, only to hear laugher. He chooses to ignore it and tries to continue sleeping only for the laughing to continue, causing Kevin to open his eyes to see James, Zachary and Azari all giving him a smug look while Pym stuffs his laughter in.

Kevin stretched, yawning lightly.

Kevin: "W-what's so funny?"

James: "Why don't you turn around and take a look, Romeo~?"

Kevin sleepy turns his head... Only to see Torunn sleeping beside him with her right arm wrapped around his body and her left hand on her head.

Kevin blushes like this:

Torunn slowly yawns as she rubs her eyes and slowly opens her eyes, upon hearing her brothers' stuffed laughter. She looks up and see's Kevin's blushing face.

Kevin: "Um, h-hey."

Torunn blushes as well.

Torunn: "G-greetings."

She took her arms off of him and moved around him, both blushing from the experience. Kevin then looked at the boys and glares at them.

Kevin: "You both saw nothing. Got it?"

Episode cleared.
