Episode 7: Preparing for the Final Battle

A spark ran from Azari's finger as he traced the wall, coming out of the cave. He saw Torunn and Kevin sitting at the edge of the cliff with Francis, Dash, and Zachary leaning against a rock with Pym, Marinette, Nova, Kamala, and Violet sitting atop. James was nowhere in sight.

Dash: "Well, that went well."

Zachary: "Bruce is afraid to release the Hulk. I mean, with a monster unleashed that destroyed a skyscraper, who wouldn't be?"

Marinette: "So, what do we do now?"

Azari: "Tony wants us to hide, but-"

Torunn: "He's right! We have to run. We have to hide, we can't beat Ultron."

Kevin (determination): "Yes, we can."

James: "Kevin's right. (Everyone looked at him) And we have to. If we don't stand up to Ultron, who will? Or if we don't protect people like the Scavengers? Who will? We have to make a stand. The longer we wait, the more powerful Ultron becomes. He'll never stop hunting us. He'll never stop coming after Tony. We have to stop him. (He leaped down from the cliff and lands on his feet) We owe it to our parents. We're all that's left in their legacy. Well, if we can't bring the Hulk to Ultron, then we'll have Ultron come to the Hulk."

Everyone looked at James, shocked.

Dash: "Then what do you suggest we do, Rogers?"

James: "Okay, Hawkeye said that Ultron's wired into every one of his machines. If we power up the ship so that Ultron can sense it, then he'll come running."

Nova: "What about Venom and the Iron Avengers?"

James: "Kevin, what do you think?"

Kevin: "Knowing Ultron, he'll send the Iron Avengers and Venom first in order to weaken us before he'd show himself. The Iron Avengers will not be a problem. But Venom's gonna be tricky. He's as tough as nails. So, I'll handle Venom while you guys handle the Iron Avengers."

Marinette: "Senpai, that's crazy. How would you ever beat him?"

Francis: "And what about your Enigma Force? Will that be enough to stop that freak?"

Kevin: "I haven't mastered the form, yet. It only happened just by luck. Besides, I will only use my Uni-Powers when it's necessary to use it. With fire and loud sounds. That's how I can beat that Symbiote bastard."

Nova: "And where are we gonna get those?"

Zachary: "Scavenger technology inside the ship."

Francis: "Okay, remember when I called Bruce's nuts? Well, you've got him beat."

James: "I know we can do this. We can do it together."

Torunn: "No! I can't."

She flew off to another part of the canyon.

Kevin: "She'll be okay. (Everyone looked at him) She just needs time. (Turns to James) I'm with you, Jimbo. What about you, guys?"

Zachary (nodded): "Ready to redeem my father's mistake? Hell yeah, I am!"

Marinette: "I'm always happy to help you, my Spider-senpai."

Dash: "I'm in, too."

Violet (sighed): "If Dash's in, then so am I."

Nova: "Me too."

Kamala (excitedly): "First superhero team-up! I'm in! I'm so in!"

Pym nodded slowly with his mouth open, and Francis and Azari gave him a smirk.

James: "We'll win this, I know we will. Kevin, take Pym and Zachary to the ship and get Ultron's attention."

Kevin (salutes): "On it, Cap!"

Kevin takes Pym and Zachary to the ship, and they manage to get the tools that they need to make weapons for the final battle. Once they leave, James and the others get in the ship with Azari holding two separate pipes in his hands.

Azari: "I hope you're right about this."

James: "That makes the two of us."

Azari then charges up the two pipes with his electric powers and with that jolt of power, the robot wasp began hovering slightly off the ground.

Scene Change: Back at Ultra City, in the Citadel, Ultron had sensed the ship, triggering a wake-up call for the Iron Avengers. Venom senses it too as he started cackling.

Meanwhile, Kevin, Pym and Zachary are still working on the weapons needed to take Venom down. Kevin heard footsteps and turned to see his mother watching them.

Felicia: "Just heard from James what your plan is... You know, after what they did, there's no going back."

Kevin: "I know, but we can't keep running anymore. If we keep on waiting, then Ultron's going to get stronger. It's time we take a stand and take a fight to him. My dad would say the same thing, too."

Felicia looked at Kevin and sighed, then smiled. She walked up to him and patted his head.

Felicia: "Just like your father. Always wanting to make the world a better place... What can I do to help?"

Kevin smiled, then began to guide his mother on what do to and what parts they needed to use. Pym and Zachary helped with the power output and Kevin and Felicia focused on the design of the weapons. Once they finished, they made some sound grenades.

Zachary: "Okay, these will be enough to beat Venom."

Kevin: "Mom, during the fight, stay near the cave, and if anything happens..."

Felicia (hugs Kevin): "Take 'em down? I know, sweetie. I've been doing this for a while now."

Kevin smiled, then returned the embrace.

Scene Change: Within the canyon, outside, we see Torunn on her knees looking down at the ground with the winds whistling in the background.

Torunn: "Father, please help us. I'm scared. Scared for my brothers, for Tony, our friends, and for Kevin. They need me. If you ever cared for me, please help me now. Help me save my family. Kevin, my love. I'm begging you! Lend me your strength!"

Scene Change: Back at Ultra City, we return to where Torunn's sword was stuck in the ground. One brave robot tried to pull it out but was struggling, even using his boosts, it did not budge. The sword moved its own, slicing through three robots and flew at high speed to where its bearer was.

Back to the canyon, the sword landed in front of Torunn, who replaced her shock expression to a look of happiness.

Torunn: "Thank you, father. Thank you."

Episode cleared.
