Episode 4: Meeting the Resistance

Pym, Zachary and Azari are seen waking James up.

Pym: "James! James, wake up!"

James (dazed): What happened? Where's Torunn and Kevin!? *Looks around* Actually, where are we?"

Azari: "I don't know but it is filthy."

Zachary: "Friday, where are we?"

Friday: "Scanning... location unknown."

Zachary (sarcastic): "Perfect."

Friday: "Scanning for lifeforms... detected mutants and inhuman DNA."

Zachary: "Mutants and an inhuman? Where?"

Behind Pym were a pair of eyes looking at them. Pym turned around and jumped back and around the four of them, more eyes and figures surrounded the boys.

Azari: "Robots, this is bad. This is really bad."

Pym (Pointing Vision's head at the figures): "Mr. Vision wake up, we need a hand here. Can you shoot lasers out of your eyes?"

Kevin (Offscreen; teasing): "If he does, that would be awesome, right?"

The four looked to see Torunn carrying Kevin. Beside them were more heroes like them such as: Hawkeye, Ladybug, Ms. Marvel, Nova and Dash & Violet.

Zachary: "Well, I'll be damned... They're okay!"

The four go down and Pym hugs them while James and Kevin shared a fist bump along with Zachary. Though Azari looked at Kevin's side and noticed his stab wounds, not only that his suit was damaged. Mostly just scratches near the stomach area and one mark on his chest. He also notice Torunn didn't have her sword.

James (worried): "Guys, what happened?"

Torunn: "I wasn't strong enough. I lost my sword, my father didn't come for me and because of my foolishness, Kevin got injured while rescuing me."

Kevin: "Torunn, I told you I'm fine. It's just a-"

Before he could finish, Kevin suddenly felt another spike of pain with more blood leaking out from his sides. He gets on his knees as Pym and James quickly help him up.

Kevin: "Okay, it's not a fresh wound! Now I really need some medical attention!"

Barton: "So sorry to keep this talk short but we have to move. Ultron is wired into every one of his machine."

Ladybug: "And right now, many are en route to the mess we've made so we have to get moving. Don't worry, Spider-senpai. We'll fix you up when we get back to our HQ."

Kevin: "S... Senpai...?"

Nonetheless, the children of the Avengers followed the pale-haired male in single as they walked across what seems to be a sewage pipe.

Pym: "So, quick question: Who're you guys?"

Barton: "The name's Barton. But everyone calls me Hawkeye."

Pym: "Hawkeye? The Archer?"

Azari: "Wait a minute. Barton? Do you know a guy named Clint Barton?"

Barton: "Okay, kid, how do you know my dad?"

Azari: "'Kid'? You're like a day older than us."

Zachary: "And I assume these are your team who accompanied you all the way through here, am I right?"

Marinette: "I'm Marinette. Just a normal girl, with a normal life from Paris. But I have a secret. That I have super powers of a Ladybug with my very own... Kwami: Tikki and Lucky Charm!"

Kevin: "Whoa... That's cool."

Ladybug blush like this:

But she smiled nonetheless.

Barton (whispers to Kevin's ear): "And the whole her calling you "senpai" thing, she'd watched too many anime."

Kevin: "Ah, I get it now. Thanks for that."

Dash: "The name's Dash and I'm the Fastest Incredible Alive! Cool, huh?"

Barton (mumbles): "And most annoying, too."

Dash: "I'd heard that!"

Violet: "Don't be such a show off, Dash. Ahem. I'm Violet Parr and I can turn invisible and create a force field around me or at enemies."

Kamala: "And I, am, the amazing... Ms. Marvel!"

She stretches her arms as they get big, and flexes them, earning a sigh from Hawkeye.

Nova: "And she likes to show off, and copy moves and characteristics from the One Piece character: Monkey D. Luffy."

Kevin: "Is that so? That would come in handle. You got my respect, Ms. Marvel."

Kamala: "Aww thanks, Spidey~!"

Nova: "Anyway. I'm Nova and I'm the recruit of the NOVA Corp."

Zachary: "So we got two mutants and one inhuman with us, huh?"

Dash: "How'd you know?"

Zachary: "My dad told us tales about mutants and inhumans living on Earth as well as us. How long did you and your team survive?"

Barton: "12 years."

Kevin (surprised): "Wow, that long? Whoa, impressive."

Pym: "We think your dad was an Avenger, like our parents."

Barton: "Like your parents? Your parents were Avengers?"

Kevin: "Uh, hello? Do you see any kid who is (Points at Torunn) wearing a Viking Armor (Points at James) and a virtual holo-shield of Captain America?"

Barton: "T-that's not possible. My dad said...he said he was the last! He told me I'd be the last Avenger!"

With anger in his eyes, Barton picked Pym up by the shoulders and began shaking him lightly.

Barton: "I've been here fighting all this time. Where have you been?"

James: "Let him go!"

James walked up to Barton, placing on his arm, signaling him to let Pym down.

James: "We didn't know."

The pale-haired boy's roamed over each of the five's faces, seeing as Kevin was telling the truth. He put Pym down and turns around, beginning to walk away as everyone followed close.

Barton: "I thought I was the last one."

Zachary spoke, in his thoughts:

Zachary: (Hm, what did Clint tell him over the years?)

They arrived what looked like an old subway station. Except for the debris, trashed missiles, and the ruined American flag. But other than that, the entire place looked fine.

Barton: "My father brought people to the underground after Ultron took over. He taught them how to survive. We live out of Ultron's rule, keeping out of sight, hiding in the cracks. But the machines finally caught my dad. Now I lead the scavengers; I keep them moving. I keep them safe."

He took off his bow and quiver, setting them to the side as he took a small seat on a small crate.

Barton: "Dash. Get the Spider to the Medical Lab."

Dash: "Already ahead of you."

Nova: "Think we should tell her that he's here?"

Barton: "...Might as well."

Dash picks Kevin up and took him to the medical lab and thanks to his super speed, he'd made it and place him on the tube-shaped bed as it slowly fills up with liquids filled with healing properties.

Dash: "You're going to be a-okay, Scarlet. You'll be back in tiptop shape in no time. Just rest easy now."

Dash then leaves, leaving Kevin alone to rest.

Timeskip: Some minutes later, as Kevin was slowly being healed and resting, a hand slowly touched the glass of the tank.

Kevin barely opened his eyes and see's someone, but his vision was blurry to see the figure.

???: "You're grown so much... My Little Spider. If only your father was here to look at you all grown up now. (Shed a small tear) How I'd missed you so much."

She slowly hugs the tube as she shed tears and after that, she disappeared without a trace.

Kevin (mentally): "M... Mom...?"

Kevin slowly closes his eyes.

Timeskip: A few minutes later, he's now fully healed. The tube opens as it releases hissing sounds. Meanwhile, Ladybug was here the whole time, waiting for Kevin to wake up.

Marinette: "Ah good, you're healed."

Kevin gets up and slowly touches his head, almost remembering his mother's voice.

Marinette: "Here, I brought you some lunch."

Marinette handed the tray of food to Kevin.

Marinette: "Sometimes the side effects of the tube can cause your hunger. Sorry for not letting you know sooner."

Kevin: "It's alright, thanks. (start eating)"

Marinette: "So, you're like, y'know, Spider-Man's son, right?"

Kevin (nodded): "Yeah."

Marinette: "Wow, that's amazing. I'm such a huge fan. My friends and I heard stories about him and the Avengers."

Kevin: "You... You have?"

Marinette: "Yeah. And you would be surprised by the person looking after us. Say, what's your superpower? Is it the same as your father's?"

Kevin: "(Ate an apple) I do have the basics as him. But I have other powers he doesn't have such as stingers (Pop out a stinger from his wrist) and bio-electricity (Shows his bio-electricity to Marinette)."

Marinette: "Whoa, that's cool. Anyway, let's go catch up the others. They may be worried sick for you."

Kevin finished his food before setting the tray fish and nodded at Marinette.

Kevin: "Yeah."

Marinette: "Oh, almost forgot. (Hands him a note) Someone wants me to give you this note."

Kevin: "Really?"

He grabs the note as he opens it and reads it: "Hello, sweetie. If you managed to find this letter, I want to say I can bring myself to say how much I'd miss you over the years. You've grown so much that you almost like me when I become Black Cat. I'm sorry that neither of us was ever there for you when you got older... We wanted to keep you safe and alive from Ultron's wrath. We hope to see you again... Your father was an amazing Spider-Man as he went through hardships throughout his life... And so do you... I'm proud of you, my precious treasure... My Little Spider. Love, your mother... P.S. Here's a photo of your father's first suit I've found from his apartment."

Kevin grabbed the photo and looked at it:

Kevin almost shed a tear as it hit the photo.

Marinette: "Hey, you ok?"

Kevin then wiped his tears away and put a photo in his photo album, before turning to Marinette and nodded at him.

Kevin: "I'm okay... Let's go."

Marinette leads Kevin to the group.

Elsewhere: Ultron had just finished torturing Old Tony and still got no info from him. He heard movement and some sparks. He turned and saw the robotic Iron Spider-Man whose arms was destroyed.

Ultron: "Perhaps an upgrade is in order."

Ultron put his hand on a pad and a door opened, walking through the door with Iron Spider-Man following him. They entered the room, as Ultron reached to the door as he opened it, revealing a tube containing a moving slime inside.

Ultron: "It's time for the world to remember that you still exist."

He walks towards Iron Spider-Man and opens the tube, allowing the slime to cover Iron Spider-Man. The iron spider twitches falls, and makes weirds movements as the goo slowly consumes its body completely.

Ultron: "Are you prepared to finish the job?"

Iron Spider?: *We... Are...*

The voice box starts glitching as it slowly becomes dangerously familiar.

???: "Yesssss... we are..."

The slime finished covering its face, and the episode ends with a scary creepy familiar face appearing on screen:
