Chapter 22

Arbiter's Grounds

The Arbiter's Grounds, another place where criminals were brought to a trial execution. Outside of the dungeon looked like a colosseum, but on the inside looked like an ancient tomb. The place was filled with enemies like Bubbles, Stalfos and Stalkins.

Link got deeper into the Arbiter's Grounds and found himself on a certain room. There were four lit torches on the way, followed by a large corridor. Link got closed a little bit, and on the way, four Poes with lanterns appeared. Each Poe chose a torch, and each one took the fire into their lanterns. Followed by that, the large corridor was closed by a large cell. All four Poes left the room after that, each to a different place. There were two doors on the room where Link was standing right now. Willing to find all four Poes, he chose the door on his right. After venturing around the dungeon, he defeated all the Poes and returned all four torches to their place. Link got back to the main room and saw the big cell opening the way to the next section of the Arbiter's Grounds.

Link kept venturing himself around the dungeon and reached another room. The only thing that was in the room with Link was an armor with an axe, standing right on the middle. Link got close to it and sliced it with the Master Sword. Suddenly, the armor swung the axe toward Link, who dodged it pretty quickly. The armor is known as Iron Knuckle, an enemy similar to the Darknut, and one of the most powerful enemies that Link has encountered so far. It's axe was very strong, and with a high chance of inflicting a high amount of damage. This one also has a heavy armor that force the enemy to move slowly.

The Iron Knuckle was slowly approaching to Link; since it was moving very slow, Link could attack very easily, but he still had to be careful with the axe. Link got close to the Iron Knuckle and got rid of some parts of the armor by attacking it with the Master Sword. Having Link on his front, the Iron Knuckle tried to hit him with his axe; but Link managed to dodged it and continued to fight.

After a while, Link managed to get rid of the whole armor, leaving the body completely exposed. Without the armor, however, the Iron Knuckle could move faster; he ran toward Link and swung his hammer more faster than before. Link avoided getting hit by jumping out of the way, but he couldn't felt on the floor. He then got up and kept fighting the Iron Knuckle with courage. After a while, Link defeated the Iron Knuckle, and a Treasure Chest appeared in the middle of the room. He opened it and got a very cool item.

Link got the Spinner!

It didn't take much time for Link to realize how to use the Spinner. He got on it and started to ride it around the room. After practicing with it, he used it to ride a line of trail that was on the wall, leading him to the exit. He then goes deeper into the dungeon, and then he finds a big room full of traps and obstacles that he could only pass using the Spinner. Without thinking about it, he got into the Spinner and traveled through the rails of the room. After passing all the obstacles and enemies, he reached the end and found another Treasure Chest. He then opened it and found the Big Key.

Link leaves the room and found himself on a dead end. Link couldn't find any exit, but he did found a hole on the floor; the hole had the same form of the Spinner. Link mounts the Spinner and put it on the hole. He then started to roll it as fast as he could. The walls on the room started to move to the left, revealing a new path. Link put away the Spinner and entered the new place. There was a structure in the middle and a rail on the walls for the Spinner.

Link took the Spinner and rides on the rails, going around the structure while going up. Link found a way where he could jump in order to get on top of the structure. He then jumps and gets on it, where he would find another hole to put the Spinner in. Link starts to roll the Spinner while on the hole, ascending a big trail coming from the sand. Once he finished, he rides the rails directly to the Big Door and uses the Big Key to unlock the chains. He then pass through and gets to the final section of the dungeon.

The Big Door closes behind Link. The room was semi-dark, and the whole place was a pool of sand. There was also a big fossil skeleton in the middle. Link walked on a structure leading directly to the fossil. He stood looking at the fossil for a while. Suddenly, the eyes of the fossil turned red, and the fossil started to move on it's own. It looked at Link and roared at him.

Stallord

The structure where Link was standing started to sumerged to the sand. Link ran back fastly and got to a safe zone. Still, Link couldn't reach Stallord by walking or running since the sand was dangerous, but he could still use the Spinner on a rail. Once he got on the rail, some skeleton monster got out of the sand, willing to protect Stallord.

Link noticed a weak part of the vertebral column of Stallord, which he could hit with the Spinner. He jumped out of the rail and spin directly to the vertebral column, breaking a small part of it. Link gets back to ride the rail, and suddenly, Stallord spits a firebreath to burn him. Link managed to avoid it and jumps again to hit Stallord on the column. However, a skeleton got on his way and blocked his attack, sending him back to the rail. Link jumped from the rail again and avoided all the skeletons getting on his way, hitting and breaking another part of Stallord's column, twice.

More Skeletons came out of the sand, making it difficult for Link to reach Stallord. He got pushed by them so many times, but at the end he broke Stallord's column, making it fall into the sand. Suddenly, all the sand started to wash away, uncovering the deep part of the place. Stallord's head was left on the floor, giving no signs of life.

Link got in the middle of the place and saw one more hole. He quickly got out of the Spinner in it and started to roll. The place where Link was standing started to go up, leading to the exit; the pillar also had a large rail around it.

While looking for a way out, Link felt something strange behind him. He turned around and saw Stallord's head, floating and maintaining it's sight on him. Link was on a corner of the pillar; He tried not to fall, but Stallord pushed him, back to the bottom.

Link got on his feet and tried to stay conscious on the battle. Stallord was flying close to him, out of his reach. Link used the Spinner on the rails of the pillar and started to ride back to the top. Stallord flew away and got out of Link's sight. Link was about to reach the top, but Stallord got on his way and shot a fireball. Link jumped out of the way and got on a rail printed on the walls around the pillar. Stallord shot another fireball at Link, who jumped to the pillar and avoided.

Link had Stallord right no his left. He then hit it with the Spinner and sent it to the floor. Stallord had a weak spot on the head. Link ran quickly to it and sliced it with the Master Sword. Stallord reacts and goes back to fly. Following that same rate, Stallord was defeated by Link's trusty sword. Thanks to that, a bridge was made between the pillar and the entrance to the next place of the Arbiter's Grounds. Once Link got to the top again, he quickly passed through and kept going. The last Great Fairy of Hyrule was waiting up ahead.
