Link and the soldiers got out of the Castle Town Underground and got back to their respective places. Their Captain was waiting for them right there, nearby the fountain.

- "Good work! The water is flowing directly to the fountain once again. Now go back to your posts and keep watching over this place... except for you Link. Princess Zelda is looking for you."

Link was surprised. He never though that Zelda, the Princess of Hyrule herself, would want a meeting with him. He lost no time and ran directly to Hyrule Castle. He entered through the courtyard, and quickly went to the Hall Room. He then reached the Throne Room in no time; Zelda and Impa were waiting for him, along with someone else.

- "You must be Link, right?" Zelda asked. "Knowledge has come to me that you are the most talented soldier we have on the castle right now. I guess you may be asking why I called you".

- "We have something going on right now that may involve you" Impa explained. "Allow me to introduce you to Sahasrahla".

- "Greetings Link" Sahasrahla said. "I came to Princess Zelda to inform her about a vision I had that involves the future of all Hyrule".

- "Sahasrahla in his vision saw a darkness that may spread in all Hyrule, a darkness that has already been a threat in the past" Zelda said.

- "Exactly" Sahasrahla confirmed. "I will tell you about the vision, but first you must know about this evil being and what he wanted to do".

In the Kingdom of Hyrule, there are four powerful beings known as the Great Fairies. This Great Fairies can be encountered in different parts of Hyrule, and they could give aid to any person that summons any of them, as long as they had a good intention. As you can see, they are really kind. However, one of was corrupted and turned herself against the other Great Fairies... and her name was Kyriaxis.

Kyriaxis was a Great Fairy created with the main purpose of watching over an ancient weapon known as the Great Fairy Rod. Kiryaxis, who was watching over this weapon on a secret place called Fountain of Greatness, wanted to use this Rod to conquer Hyrule. She did managed to conquer the kingdom... to a certain extent at least, but there was a young Hylian warrior that confronted and defeated her in a showdown, saving Hyrule and the Rod from her power. After that, Kyriaxis fled without leaving any track. Not even the Great Fairies knew where she went. The Great Fairy Rod was sealed back in the Fountain of Greatness, and the Kingdom of Hyrule enjoyed hundreds of years of peace.

- "But now that peace is about to dissapear" Sahasrahla warned. "Listen well Link, I had a vision, and on that vision, I saw the return of Kyriaxis. I don't know if she did anything to the Great Fairies yet, but I do know without a doubt that she will be after the Rod. If she takes it, then all the Kingdom of Hyrule will be in grave danger once again".

*Link understood Sahasrahla's vision*

- "Link, the reason we called you... is because there was a young man on that vision too" Zelda explained.

- "Oh yeah, I almost forgot" Sahasrahla replied. "In my vision, there was somebody that is supposed to be the next Hylian warrior of this era that is going to confront Kyriaxis. That new hero was supposed to appear on this Castle, and it will be known has a high talented swordman".

- "Link... if I'm not mistaken, you're the most talented swordman we have on this castle right now" Impa said.

Link was shocked. He couldn't believe the fact that he actually had a high purpose to fight for Hyrule.

- "Yes... it must be you" Sahasrahla said. "Link, you have been chosen to aid the Kingdom of Hyrule in it's hour of need. I have something else to say to you, but I first need to ask you a question: are you willing to take this important, but dangerous quest?"

*Link nodded to Sahasrahla*

- "Then is settle" Zelda said. "Link, I have no doubts that you are a great warrior, and I'm sure that you'll save Hyrule from this menace".

- "Now allow me to tell you the first thing you must do Link" Sahasrahla said. "In the Kingdom of Hyrule, there are three objects called The Fairy Charms. This three objects are the keys to open the way to the Fountain of Greatness, where the Great Fairy Rod is. This objects are located in three different places: The Fairy Charm of Din is located on the Gorons homeland known as Death Mountain; the Fairy Charm of Farore is hidden in the mysterious forest known as the Lost Woods; and last but not least, the Fairy Charm of Nayru is in the watery place of Lake Hylia. Gather the three of them, and then I'll guide you to the Fountain of Greatness".

Link nodded once again.

- "Link, there's something I want to give you before you go. Please follow me" Impa said.

Link followed Impa to a certain room, where she got some green clothes out of a closet.

- "This clothes were once used by the ancient hero that saved Hyrule a long time ago. Since we know that you're about to embark on a journey for the sake of this Kingdom, then I think is a good time for you to wear this" Impa explained.

Link got the Green Clothes and put it on. It fits him perfectly.

- "Also, take this for the occasion".

Impa gave Link some Rupees. And with that, Link left the Castle and got back to Castle Town.

- "Farewell Link. I know that you are going to succeed" Zelda said softly.

Link used some of the Rupees to buy some Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, and a Wooden Shield to cover himself from attacks.

- Hey Link!" his Captain called him. "Whatever you're about to do... I know that you'll manage to handle it."

Link smiled at the soldier and left. And with that, Link's journey to save Hyrule begins.
