Link finally arrives to Kakariko Village. He was expecting to see the place under a sunny day just like before, but it was covered by some dark raining clouds instead.

Link ran to the most closer house to cover himself. The house looked abandoned, but Link didn't care as long as it covered him from the rain. Yet, he decided to leave the door opened to look out the weather and hope for the rain to stop. However, a long time has passed, and the rain was still there, falling with no end. He decided to go to the Graveyard even if he got all wet, but a strange noise inside the house occured. Link explored to see if he could find the source of that same noise. Suddenly, a Skultulla felt from the celling. Link got the Master Sword and started to attack at high force.

- "Ouch-- oww-- wait-- aah-- STOP!" Words came from the Skultulla. Link stopped swinging his sword at it; he never expected to see a talking Skultulla.

- "Do not fear me! I'm not your enemy! I'm just a normal guy... well, on a certain way... Listen to me, I was once a normal Hylian, just like you. But one day, I was caught in a curse and turned into this form. I remained like this for a very long time. I was screaming for help, but nobody wanted to enter since they were afraid. I though I was going to be like this forever, but now you are here. Please don't be afraid. I need your help."

*Link remained silent*

- "...... Sigh, Ok, let's make a deal. If you free me from this curse, then I'll tell you an interesting story about the Graveyard. Is that ok?"

*Link liked the sound of that*

- "I see the interest in your eyes. Ok then, here's what you need to do: I don't know if you noticed the well close to the Graveyard, but the source of my curse resides down there. There are this things called Golden Skulltullas, and there are 5 of them on that place. If you go down there and destroy them all, then I'll be free from this curse. I shall then give you the information I promised you."

Link nodded at the cursed man and got out of the house. He then ran to the well and climbed down. Link started to feel the creepy environment and prepared himself.

Bottom of the Well

The place was creepy and dark. The first thing that Link found was the first golden Skulltulla, very close to the entrance. Link slayed it and killed it. Link kept walking, and the next thing he saw was a hylian skeleton. Link got scared for a bit, but he later saw a note on the left hand. He took it and read the following:

'Beware! Beware! Those who tries to get deeper into this Well will meet their doom'

Link looked the skeleton again and got worried. He continued moving forward, and suddenly, a scream coming from his right stopped his movements. The scream was coming from a skeletal enemy called Redeads. This enemies screams to people to stop their movement, giving them time to approach and bite them to dead.

The Redead got Link and started to bite him. Link managed to get out of it's arms and slayed the Redeadñ. He was injured by the Redead's bites, so he drank some Red Potion to heal himself.

He kept moving forward to find the rest of the Golden Skulltullas. The second Skulltulla was inside a tomb. Link opened the tomb, expecting to see the Golden Skultulla in it. However, the first thing he saw was another Redead. Link couldn't move for a bit thanks to the Redead's scream, but he recovered quickly and slayed it. He then killed the Golden Skulltulla and continued looking for the rest.

Link got the third one inside a cell, and the fourth one was found moving around a wall. While searching or the last one, he finds a mysterious room and enters. He was looking if the last Golden Skulltulla was around. Suddenly, something big falls to the ground, forcing Link to jump away. It was the last Golden Skulltulla, but this one was bigger.

The Golden Skultulla tried to attack Link with it's front legs. Link rised the shield to protect himself. Once the Big Golden Skulltulla hits Link's Shield, he quickly moved and slayed the Skulltulla's face. He kept with this rate until he finally defeated it. Finally, Link destroyed all five Golden Skulltullas of the Well, breaking the curse of the man in the abandoned house. Adittionally, a Treasure Chest appeared in the middle of the room. Link opened the chest and takes the item in it.

Link got the Lens of Truth! Those who possess this item can see what the normal eye would not.

Finally, He got out of the Well and got back to the abandoned house. He then saw a man, and not a Skulltulla like before.

- "I'm free from the curse! Thanks friend!" the man said gratefully. "You've really helped me out down there. I apologize if you went through so much trouble. Well, accept this as a way to show my gratitude."

Link got 100 Rupees!

- "Well, i guess it is time for me to fulfill my promise. I' m going to tell you the secret of the Graveyard of Kakariko Village:

"There a place called the Shadow Temple. It is known as a place where criminals were tortured and murdered to pay for their crimes. Also, there's a story about an evil spirit that was once a Hylian like you and me. This hylian had an eye that could see the truth, and supposedly, his house was located where the well is right now."

Suddenly, a huge noise was heard from the Well. Link and the man got out to see what was it. Once they approached the Well, they felt a strange presence coming from it. The man that Link saved started to float. It was if someone or something was holding him. After a brief moment, the man flew away from Link and felt close to a tree.

Link went to help him, but he got caught too and got squished. Because of that, he felt unconscious. Finally, Link got thrown away, close to the man. A while had passed after that.

Link woke up and found himself on a bed. He got up and looked around, wondering where he could be. The first thing he saw was his gear, and later he saw the Skultulla man, laid on a bed. Later, he took his bag, Hylian Shield and the Master Sword, and got out of the room.

He then saw that he was actually on the Kakariko Mart. Their original shop was still in business even though they opened a new Mart on Castle Town. The Goron that works there noticed Link and went to talk to him.

- "Hey brother! I'm glad you're ok! We saw you outside all unconscious, so we brought you here and the other man to rest. I don't know what happened to both of you, but you were not well at all. I've got to say, something strange is happening around this village... Anyway, feel free to buy anything you want, right here, on KAKARIKO MART!... I know, it was bad."

The Goron left Link and got back to work. Link bought a new Red Potion and got out of the house. Suddenly, the voice of Impa came to Link.

- "Link! Is me, Impa! I see that you are not doing very well right now. This is the first mission on your quest, and yet, you are already struggling. This proves that rescuing the Great Fairies won't be an easy task. I know what happened on Kakariko Village, and believe me, it's not good at all. The evil spirit that was imprisioned on the Bottom of the Well got free, and now its residing on it's original hideout: the Shadow Temple. Link, the first Great Fairy you're seeking is at the end of that Temple. You need to pass through all the traps inside in order to reach her. This is going to be more harder than I though, but I know that you'll be able to pull this one up. But please be careful. Powerful enemies are awaiting you."

Link's only choice was to get to the Graveyard and seek for any clues to get to the Shadow Temple. Once he got there, he saw that the Graveyard was way more creepier than before with the falling rain. Plus, there was a new enemy around: The Poes, some ghostly enemies that likes to hold a lantern and fly around. They were not difficult to defeat though.

After defeating all of the Poes, he then reached the end of the Graveyard. He didn't find any clue about the Shadow Temple, but he remembered the Lens of Truth. He watched through the Lens and saw a secret cave that was covered by a fake wall. He passed through and walked down some stairs. He then saw a big door with a drawing of an eye.

Link looked around to see if there was any way to open it. He then saw a lit torch on the middle of the room where he was, followed by two other torches, but they weren't lit. Link got his Bow and stood in front of the lit torch. He then shoots two arrows that passed through the fire of the first torch before reaching the other two. The two torches were lit, and the door to the Shadow Temple opened. Link proceeded with caution.
