Link slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Was he inside of a tree? He sat up and looked at the leaf bed he was sleeping on. What? Link got out of his bed and walked over to the fire. Link was cold for some reason.

"Here Link, take this coat." Said Zelda as she walked over to Link and gave him the coat. "We are at Korok Village. This is the only place I thought we would be safe."

Link rose and gave the coat back to Zelda. He walked out of the Great Deku Tree and walked on down to the sword pedestal. He knelt down in front of the Tree and looked up.

"Oh, Link. It seems that you have come back. I know that you have looked around and have seen so much death at this time. But I still watch over you. I know that you will be able to kill Ganondorf and conquer the Twilight. You know what you have to do." Said the Great Deku Tree. Something tumbled out of his mouth.

Link walked up the tree and stood at the seeing spot and looked at the item.

"This is something that you should hold onto. Use it in your time of need and you must save Hyrule no matter the cost. You might have to do the one thing that will save you, your kingdom, and all your friends."

Link grabbed the item and looked at it closely. He was holding an Ocarina. This one was different; it was made of wood. Link raised it to his lips and blew. Out came a noise so loud and peaceful that the leaves on the trees around Link all unfurled and grew greener.

It was the Ocarina of Life.
