Book 2: Chapter 3 The Wanderer

"Who stole the necklace then?" Asked Link as he turned and looked Rhoam.

"I do not remember his name but it was black figure and looked like he had some sort of duck feet. Oh I remember it was Rito and he was um.... I think a white one or maybe a blue one it was hard to see him." Rhoam replied.

"Then I will head to Rito village and I will find who ever has it and take it from them." Link announced as the king saw that the once blue master sword had slowly started to turn red.

"Do be careful it would suck if you died before you got there, oh and that reminds me head to the Outskirt Stable there is an old friend waiting for you there." Said the king as he disappeared.

Link wondered about who the old friend was but he did not let him self get distracted at the task at hand. He would glide down to the Outskirt Stable and take the path north and head up to Rito village. Hopefully the old friend will help him move a lot quicker.

Link climbed up the mountain and held onto the wall strong. He reached the top of one of the many stone pillars around the Great Plateau. He pulled out his paraglider and glided on down towards the Outskirt Stable. He made it pretty close to the stable but he had to continue walking. Link looked around as he walked towards the stable keeping his guard up in case if something comes after him.

There was nothing there except the people of the stable. There was the person that Link could register a horse to and someone in the shadows standing behind the old pile of wood to the left of the stable.

"Excuse me I was wondering if you might have something for me?" Asked Link as he put his hand on his sword.

The figure said nothing just pointed to the right, Link looked to the right but there was nothing there. Then there was a loud noise one from a horse then out of the small amount of trees came a brown horse with white hooves, tail, and main.

"Wow, you are a very beautiful horse." Link announced as the horse came up to allowing him to stroke his main. "Was this the gift?" Asked Link as he turned to the look at the figure.

The figure nodded yes and then disappeared, Link took the horse over to the stable man to register his horse and then something happened.

"You can't register this horse, you already have under the name of Epona." Said the stable man as Link looked at the horse that he had never seen before.

Epona, that was a weird name for a horse but Link liked it. He noticed that there was a saddle on the horse after he talked to the man. Link was a little confused but he was thankful that he listened to the old man and was able to acquire a faster method of travel. Link hoped on the horse, the saddle fitted just right and he was not wiggling at all.

"Come on girl, lets head to the spring of power you know where that is right?" Asked Link as Epona headed off with taking Link to the spring of power.
