I was brushing down suva while more practiced her air bending when I heard the radio speaking, and it was that amon guy again talking about how the Council made him Public Enemy Number One

I look back, and we were shaking in fear, so I turned the radio off

Korra: oh yeah, I'm fine

Y/n: korra, I'm the closet person too you besides your parents, so I know when you're lying, what's up.

Then she sat next to me leaning on suva

I walked out of my room, and I couldn't help but stare at korra she was so beautiful in that dress

We made it to the gala and everyone stared clamping for us

???: Then what is the point your brother and grandfather have all strive for peace your brother has served the military well, and your grandfather was one of the founding fathers of Republican City along with Avatar a don't you think you should uphold his legacy

???: what is the point of having two avatars if not one of you is willing to stand up to Amon reign of tyranny on the innocence of billions in Republic City why are you too afraid

Korra: listen here. I'm never afraid, and I never back down from anything if this city needs an avatar. I will join tarrlok task force

???: what about you young Fire Lord will you stand up against amon

Y/n: I'll give you the same answer that I gave tarrlok I am not here to join sides my job as the Avatar is to maintain the peace

Then I walked past the press leaving korra by herself

A couple of days after that incident I was at the air Temple reading the newspaper on the roof while laying my head on suva as the paper talked all about how Korra and tarrlok have been taking down Aman's hideouts one by one

Tenzin: y/n this is an emergency

Y/n: what the matter tenzin

Tenzin: it's korra she challenged amon on her own at the statue, and it's been 3 hours since she made contact

Y/n: I'm on it, suva, let's go!

I jumped in her back as she roared and flew into the sky towards the statue
And when we got there, korra was on the ground barely conscious, so I jumped off suva back and ran up to her

Y/n: korra! Hey speak to me you alright, where amon

Korra: he...he left

Y/n: did he take it, your bending

Then she opens her hands and flames come out

Korra: no I'm okay

Y/n:(sigh) you had me worried

Korra:(crying)

Then she hugged me by surprise

Korra:(crying) I was so terrified, I felt so helpless

Then I hugged her back rubbing her back

Korra:(crying) I shouldn't have joined tarrlok, I'm so afraid, I've never felt like this before

Y/n: hey don't worry I told you everyone has fear in there heart and admitting to them is the first step to beating it

Korra:(crying) don't -sniffs- don't leave me alone anymore okay

Y/n: yeah, I promise... I'll always be by your side
