I am not alone.

Alex's POV

I walked to the servant's quarter which was where he said we would meet. I am glad I could see Lizzy smile today because this will most likely be the last time I ever see it. I reached the servants quarter and sat on a chair in the back room. And waited.

~Later on

How long have I been waiting, I don't really know. I look out of the window to see it was already night time.

'Is he really going to come?'

'Maybe he won't and I won't have to...'

'Alex'

I turned around to see a man dressed in black standing behind me. Oh he is here.

'Is it really you?'

'Yes now you know what you have to do right'

*gulps 'yes, but before I go may I see your face?'

'Very well'

The man takes his hood off revealing his face. The one that reminded me very much of Lizzy, well of course he did they are siblings. I was shocked to see he had a scar under his eyes when did he get that and who was it from? Wait this isn't the time for questions.

'It's been a long time since I've seen you, you know'

'Yh I know I had stuff to take care of now go on and complete the mission that was given to you'

'yh...'

I turned around and started to make my way to the king's room. I looked around, there were no guards in sight I guess Luke had already finished his part and now it's my turn. I made it to the king's room.

~knock

'King, it's me Alex'

'Come in'

I slowly open the door and walk in to find the king sitting on a chair staring at a picture of Lizzy and Luke when they were younger. *gulps I slowly took my sword out of its Scabbard and pointed it at the king.* hands shaking

'Go on do it i know you have to but before I die I want to ask you one thing'

So he knows already. Well to be honest I would've been surprised if he didn't know, he was the one who trained both Luke and Jake.

'What is it you want?'

'I want you to make sure that Lizzy never finds out about her past'

'I....promise'

The king smiles at me. No don't it will make it harder than it already is. He stands up and walks to me. I take my sword and place it on his heart.

'Im...sorry'

A single tear escapes my eye and falls to the floor as I pierce his heart.

'Im sorry Lizzy'

He falls to the floor. He's gone. I wipe the tear from my face. Wait someone's here. I turn to the door to find Lizzy staring at me.

Lizzy's POV

I look up at Alex as he points his sword at me. *gulps I run for the door but the man standing next to Alex trips me over. I look to my right. My swords. I pick them both up. With the last of my strength I stab him in the foot and run out of the door.

I must find Jake where is he. Tears still falling from my face. I carry on running when I see some guards. I run from them as they start chasing me. What have I done? It's raining now. I try to get away from them but I slip over.

~Whack

Ouch my ankle I can't feel it. Oh no I twisted it how am I supposed to run from them. Jake where are you.

All the guards had now surrounded me. I was trapped. I cry as i try to move as the pain in my ankle was unbearable. I could see all the guards part ways as Alex and the man stand in front of me. I start to shake. Am I going to die?

Alex shouts 'Kill her!'

5 or 6 guards come running at me. I close my eyes in fear. Im going to die.

'LIZZY!'

Was that Jake? I slowly open my eyes to find Jake was standing in front of me.

'J...Jake' *starts crying even more

Jakes POV

She starts to cry even more, what is going here. I turn around to find Alex standing in front of her. What is he doing.

'Alex what is going on here?'

'Everything that you see right now'

What is going on? This can't be him. Where's the soft and clumsy Alex all I see is a monster. The king where is he.

'I have a bad feeling, Alex may I ask where's the king'

'The king is dead, I killed him'

Wait what did he just say. My hands start to shake in anger.

'THIS BETTER BE A REALLY BAD JOKE!'

'It's no joke; ask Lizzy she saw it all'

WHAT! She saw him. I turn to Lizzy.

'Is it true?'

She slowly nods her head.

My eyes widen in shock, he really did it.

'YOU BARSTARD!'

I run at him with my spear pointing at his head. Silent beast or not I don't care he needs to pay for this.

'Jake!'

I stop and turn around. A guard was holding a knife to Lizzy's throat. Shit when did he get there.

'You don't want her to die do you, drop your weapon'

'TCH'

I drop my weapon. What do I do, I can't do anything until that guards gone. Dammit.

Lizzy's POV

Im going to die. I know it. There's no chance of us getting out of here.

~BANG

Wait what a bullet? The man that held a knife to my neck fell to the floor dead. He had a hole in his head. I look to where the shot came from. On the roof I saw a man.

Jet Black hair, eyes the colour of emeralds. Was it him? The boy who helped me back then. He looked at me and then ran away. Wait no don't go. Please.

I looked back at Jake, he had already taken his weapon back and was killing all of the guards. He now held his spear to Alex's throat. I looked at his eyes. I started to shake. I could feel his blood thirst. It scared me. This wasn't Jake.

'J...JAKE!'

He stopped almost instantly and looked at me with those same eyes. I started to back away from him. He realised what he was doing and slowly took the spear away from Alex's throat.

'Lizzy...'

'Heh so you can't even kill me'

Alex took out his sword and stabbed Jake in the shoulder.

'JAKE!'

He looked at me and smiled.

'Im ok don't worry'

My eyes widen in shock Alex was about to kill him.

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'

A bright light enveloped me. Wait what's going on? I looked at my hands they were disappearing.

'LIZZY!'

Both Alex and Jake shouted. I looked up at them. Jake ran towards me and picked me up bridal style. I looked at him and could see he started to disappear to.

'Jake you're...'

'Wherever you go I follow, my princess'

Tears start falling from my face. I look at Alex he had the same face my brother had back then. The one where my brother told me he was sorry. No not again don't say it please don't. He mouthed the words.

'I M S O R R Y'

After that everything went black.
