I stare at the light in disbelief how can she be there. She's dead....

'M-mother' *cries

I run to her embracing her in a tight hug. She hugs me back stroking my head softly. Tears still streaming down my face.

'There, there lizzy it's alright I'm here'

'B-but how....why?'

She stops stroking my head and holds my shoulders looking into my eyes. She looked serious for once....

'Lizzy I don't have long but I have to explain something to you'

'W-wait what do you mean you don't have long, and what do you-

'LIZZY...just listen ok....'

I slowly nod my head and listen to her as she speaks. My eyes widen in shock at what she says. How could it possibly be true?

She tells me;

Lizzy you're not a normal human being...but I'm sure you already know that. You are not a monster. You are a dragon. You are the dragon princess. You have both the black and white dragon residing within you; because of this you have gained their powers.

The white dragon has given you the power to heal anything; this uses the power of the sun. You also have the power to read people's thoughts and feelings no matter how hard they try to hide them. You may have noticed something already but your white katana 'Shiru' is connected with this power. The white dragon's power represents light.

The black dragon has given you the power to manipulate your own blood. I'm afraid you have already experienced this power when I died. The other power that is given to you by the black dragon is to hypnotise people, this happens when your eyes glow red. Again this power is connected to your black katana 'Koru'. The black dragon's power represents dark.

Wait what is she talking about...I'm a dragon princess...I have special powers...what is she saying?

'M-mother what-

'Lizzy please let me carry on'

You know of the dragon legend right, your father used to tell you about it all the time. You remember the last page of the book that was torn out. Well that was about the dragon princess, the black dragon. You...You are the true master of all the dragons including the red. They are meant to protect you and only you Lizzy.

The bracelet I gave to you as a child, the one you still wear now. This shows you are the true dragon princess. Every time you find a dragon the colour of the dragon will light up on one of the charms. It won't light up red until you have found all of them. Lizzy believe me I never wanted to tell you this I wanted to keep it a secret from you, but it was impossible they are after the power.

I believe her....I mean I have to she's my mother she doesn't lie. But who's after the power. And how is this possible.

'H-how...

She looks at me and smiles a single tear falls down her cheek.

It is my fault this has happened to you. I am the queen of the black dragon and your real father is the white dragon. I am sorry but the person you grew up to know as your father....isn't really your real father.... I'm sorry. If only I could've been a normal human and ....Lizzy i've run out of time....

'Wait....I need to know more'

'I am sorry Lizzy but this is a goodbye'

My eyes flooded with tears as she slowly disappeared. Her final words to me were...

'I love you'

She disappeared. She was gone again. But this time in the place she was standing was a book. I slowly walked up to it and read:

To Lizzy...
