3rd POV

Lizzy fell to her knees, no longer able to control he body. Mysterious black smoke started seeping from her body surrounding all the villagers, one by one they screamed, the black smoke burning and blistering their skin. "How dare you" Whispered Lizzy-"How dare you hurt him" The amount of smoke increased,there was no longer any escape for the villagers. Soon enough the smoke faded away and all that was left were piles of ashes surrounding Kai's body. 

Kai soon began to wake slowly opening his eyes to find Lizzy in front of him on her knees crying and ashes surrounding him. "L-lizzy!" She didn't reply and instead she let out a terrifying, ear piercing screech. He quickly began to run towards him- his red eyes full of worry. As soon as he reached him, he embraced her in reassuring hug whispering in her ear, "Lizzy it's alright i'm here" He began to rock her back and forth slowly- just like her mother used to do whenever she became upset.

"K-kai..are you alright- they hurt you and then I, then I" She let out another cry. "Yes I'm alright tell me Lizzy what happened. She shook her head and then she nodded. "It went black...and when I could finally see again...they were, they were all gone!" She screamed again before going limp in Kai's arms. He looked down at her, a smile full of empathy on his face.

Out of nowhere a strangely dressed man with hair as black as night and eyes the shade of emerald came walking towards them both. Kai instantly went to take Lizzy's sword for defence but winced as the wound on his side openeded more- the villagers had dealt him great damage. "It's alright...I'm on her side"

Kai's POV

"It's alright... I'm on her side" The stranger said quietly before bending down to look at Lizzy. I didn't trust him as I had no clue who or why he was here... But I had no way in protecting Lizzy...so I had to hope what he was saying was the truth. "Who are you?" He turned to look at me- his strange green eyes studying me. "A friend...that's all I can say for now- trust me" He turned back to look at Lizzy a carefully carresd her cheek, a sad smile replacing is stern expression. "Look I know you don't trust me and I don't blame you, but there are villagers coming this way, and not only villager...there are others that after you to" He quickly looked behind him- I saw a flash of worry in her eye. "Let me carry her, we need to get her out of here" I shake my head holding onto Lizzy. He stood up letting out an impatient sigh, "Look your in no way shape to actually be able to get her to saftey, so just give her to me" I glare at him and relcutantly hand over Lizzy, he took her into his arms with care glancing down at her, hurt flashing in his eyes.

He began to walk away, "Follow me, we'll meet your friends on the way and get out of this place before it's too late" I didn't really have a say did I? With one last glare I stood up, biting my lip as the pain all rushed to me at once. "Alright I'll trust you for now"

I've been having major writers block, plus I'm actually debating on whether I should carry on this story- I started it when I was rather young and to be honest it's not the best... so thats also a reason my updates are taking absolutely ages...so sorry
