Fortunately, the strong winds were blowing in the right direction, forming perfect wind currents, so we could possibly reach the city in just one day.

When we met Cynder, the four of us had a little conversation.

"I told my mom about what happened to me," she said, "At first, she was very concerned, but then she told me that she really appreciates that I have come back into her life."

"We are very happy about Cynder," said Spyro.

"Yes, family is the best medicine to erase the past" I said.

"What a fancy phrase," said Sparx. The next second, we laugh.

As for the relationship between Ember and Flame, it seemed that now they could call them a couple, because Flame had lost the shyness that characterized him. If they asked me, it reminded me of Spyro and Cynder.

At one point, we were all flying very close to each other.

"Yes, but because I had training...", I didn't want to do it, because I didn't want to make mistakes in the tests.

"That sounded very brave," said a voice nearby. Edel had flown close to us, along with her best friend Ember, "I will also participate, I want to show my father that I am his worthy successor".

Edel took me by the front claws, and led me for a spin in the air. If it weren't for the fact that I had lost all fear of flying, then that would have caused me a heart attack, but later I knew that it was not just courage, but also that, somehow, I trusted that next to her everything would turn out good.

We stopped near a waterfall that afternoon and we agreed to spend there that night.

As night fell, several dragons went hunting. But Spyro and my new friends decided to try fishing, which was an easier option with the river close by.

Spyro taught me a new technique: fire blast. When a fireball fell into the water, it caused a small explosion that launched several fish into the air that were easier to catch. Soon, he and Flame challenged me to a small competition to see who would catch the most fish, which I couldn't refuse.

We all share the night of fishing. The smell of fried fish filled the camp we had made with the collaboration of all. That night, we slept near the waterfall, which was kind of refreshing. Before closing my eyes, I took a look at what might be the best friends I could wish for.

The next morning, we resumed our flight, getting closer to the city. I still couldn't believe that Edel and I were really going to be teammates. We finally made out the city.

"Hey look!" Sparx said, "We're here!"

Warfang was decorated with a festive atmosphere: ribbons, glitter on the statues, decorative crystals, etc. The reconstructions had already finished. In the central plaza, several dragons of different colors had already gathered, but we could recognize the guardians.

A short time later, Cynthia came forward, looked around and widened when she saw a certain dragon.

"Terrador!" shouted.

The guardian of the Earth heard his name and then he turned to look at who was calling him and his eyes widened as well.

"Cynthia! Thank god that you are alive!" said the guardian.

After a moment when the two dragons had shared a tight hug, they both drew back a bit.

"I'm sorry, Cynthia ... I couldn't protect our egg" Terrador said sadly, remembering the day that Galu came and broke all the eggs except Spyro and Cynder's.

"Okay dear... you did what you could" she said and then she stroked him lovingly, "But don't worry, our daughter didn't die that day. She is here with us".

"What? How? Who?"

"Cynder," Cynthia said, to which the dragon slowly approached, "she really is our daughter."

Terrador was still surprised by the great surprise. He had never thought that Cynder would be his daughter. Cynder hugged Terrador and Cynthia tightly as some tears ran down her cheek.

"I'm sorry Cynder" said the guardian crying, "I never thought possible ..."

"Don't worry, I get it" Cynder replied hugging her new father.

"I never believed that old Terrador had such a sensitive heart with how dominant he looks," Sparxs commented.

Meanwhile, Edel had reunited with his father, Cyril. She also explained that he had decided to participate in the guardian test.

"Are you sure?" asked the guardian to his daughter, "It will be a great responsibility"

"Yes Dad. I will honor our ice ancestors with my power. "

"You are the spitting image of your mother" the guardian hugged her, "Well, you will have to choose good companions."

The next hour, the guardians had explained the reason for everyone's meeting in a long speech (Volteer was the one who spoke most obviously), and we young dragons had to start looking for others teammates.

"And I'm from the ice, my name is Edel," my partner introduced herself, "it will be a pleasure to team up."

The next second another dragon, now a green one, approached us to team up:

"Nice meeting you, I am Thorr, and I dominate the Earth, is it okay if I join your team?"

"Yeah, no problem" said Edel, "right guys?"

"Not for me," Ray said.

"You are welcome" I said.

So, we form a team of the four elements: Edel (Ice), Ray (Electricity), Thorr (Earth) and I (Fire). At the end of the teams forming, Terrador announced:

"Now that the teams are formed, the tests will begin tomorrow, and the first will be an element competition. In this test, it will be decided not only those who have better or more powerful element but those who exert full control over it in combat. In addition, teamwork will be evaluated. With the speech over, our new team met Flame's and Spyro and Cynder. Each one made their presentation and their story. Flame, Cynder and Spyro kept my secret from Edel and the others very well.
