SARA'S PROV
It was late we have been running for hours and it's been a two day since the city bein taken over. We were gonna have to camp for the night eventually, but I still had mew in it's pokeball. The red hair man stop we stopped right behind.
"We.....should...rest." he said as he tried to catch his breath
"Why...should we....trust you?" Jake questioned I was thinking the same thing though. Serena, Kevin and The red head look at us like we were crazy. It was quiet for a while and we all caught our breath.
"Sara Jake this is the champion lance."
Kevin said
Jake eyes went wide in surprise I just shrugged it off. I'm not gonna trust him just because his the champion. I have my reasons I just can't feel like I can trust him not yet he'll have to earn the trust
"I'm sorry....I didn't know.." Jake said
Lance nodded then looked at me expecting an apology because he knew I was thinking the same thing. I was gonna say something I opened my mouth but no words came out. My fear seemed to kick in again.
(Damn it) I looked at Jake he understood
"She's....a little shy..." trying to make some excuse but the look on lances showed that he didn't buy it. I looked up to see dragonite circling above. I pointed to him and Kevin was the first to respond
"He's lances pokemon." he said
There was a awakard silence. I went into my bag and began to pull out my tent.
"We should get some sleep I'll keep first watch." lance said
I was the first done I went inside and changed into my pjs. It was just a black tang top with pikachu pattern pants(with pockets!) and black flip flops. I also put my hair in a ponytail. I came out and released Eevee, then Archy. I smiled down at them I wanted to go train so I left a note on Jakes tent so he won't freak. lance was in a tree and the others were in their tents probably changing. I didn't even look at him I went to the lake we were by. I sat by it an watch magikarp swimming. I sighed feeling guilt for leaving poor mew in the tent. I left her out of her pokeball to rest she was healing quiet well. but we hadn't stop running since they found us again.

(Yesterday night after the attack) FLASH BACK

We finally stopped we ran almost all day and night exhausted of the city thing. I put mew down and gave her some Oran berry juice. She was still asleep I used potions and a burn heal on her. She was recovering but I can't protect her like this.
"How do you know that legendary?" I looked at the red hair man. I didn't respond I looked back at her tears arriving in my eyes. If I never had left she could be ok. If I stayed with her like she asked we wouldn't have been apart. Even if I made new friends I still can't believe how badly she was hurt and I could've protect her. I looked at Serena she looked at me understanding some of the pain I was in.
"Sara you couldn't have helped it sooner we didn't know we're this pokemon was before so..." she trailed off
"But I'm surprised how this pokemon didn't try to run from you it seemed happy to see you." the lance said
I still didn't respond
"Do you know this legendary?" he asked
I flinched but looked away.
"Do you?" he asked again
I got up and walked over to Jake with the first add kit. I began to patch up his wounds. I looked at him in the eyes as I bandages his arm. His brown eyes had worry in them and I just ignored it. I put the kit away and went pack to mew. I was about to pick her up when
"Houndour flamethrower!"
I was pushed down I looked up to see lance. I quickly grabbed mew and grabbed my bag. I double check for the egg and dodged another flamethrower.
"Let's go Sara!" Kevin yelled
I was about to run with them but the flamethrower blocked my path and two zubats.
I looked at the attackers it was two grunts.
"Give us mew and you can go." the one on the left said
I shook my head in no
"Listen girly mews ours ok you don't own it unless you catch it so give it!"
The right grunt said
I got an idea I went into my bag an grabbed a pokeball. I clicked on mews head

Two clicks
Ding
Every one looked at me in surprise of what I just did. I caught a legendary/my mom. I smirked at the grunts they were about to call another attack
"USE DRAGON RAGE!!!" Lance yelled I fell backwards as the dragon type pokemon dragonite flew in front of me and use it's stunning purple
Dragon shaped attack. It then turned to me and picked me up and flew up ahead. Every one else not far behind. After an hour or two dragonite put me down but we kept running. Scares that they would come back for mew.
END OF FLASHBACK
I sighed I couldn't take much more of this chaos. I heard a tiny whimper to see a dratini looking starved. I frown at the poor thing
"You hungry little fella?" I asked
~yes....mam...~ it replied not realizing I could understand. I smiled and pulled a few berries and poffins from my pj pocket. She smiled at the berries eating them quickly. Then hesitantly took one poffin. It's face turned red and it squeezed it's eyes shut.
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU OK?!" I almost yelled I was so lost in my thoughts and Dratini I didn't realize I was being watched. By my pokemon and lance they brought lance to me.
I was about to panic but the dratini smiled and wrapped itself around my neck. I blushed a bit.
"I think he likes you."
I fell at the voice spooking me. I looked up angrily at lance but I cooled down quickly and looked at dratini. He was still on my neck. I may be shy to talk to others but I'll talk to pokemon
"Wanna come with me Dratini?"
It jumped off my neck and went to the ground. It looked at me an nodded it's like crazy. I giggled of how cute it was. I felt something touch my shoulder I looked up at lance. He had a pokeball in his hand. I took it and smiled. Before I could do a thing Dratini put it's head on the pokeball automatically clicking in a perfect capture. I smiled and squeezed the ball in happiness. I looked at lance about to say something when I was interrupted
"Lance Sara where are you?!" Jake called frantic I smiled at this and looked at lance. He nodded and we walked back to the camp. I still don't trust him but I'll give it a shot for now.
