A Christmas wish.

Margarita with basket was very happy

The churches small crib kept her busy

She smiled putting all figures in

All except the three wise men

and their camels of course

Must wait After Christmas

When they visit  baby Jesus

She turned and was startled to find

La Doc and a small girl standing behind

He apologized and made a heartfelt request

His voice soft but stressed

"This poor girl Jane, was found alone and hurt

By Billy out in the desert

She's no longer weak

But still refuses to speak

No parents or family

Have been found unfortunately

There's been talk that you are going to help lost children

Just wondering

Can you take her under your wing?"

"Of course senior say no more."

The doctor thanked her then adios out the door

Margarita noticed the girl stirring strongly

At a camel in her basket strangely

"Jane you like da camel
Por favor take it.  Si"

"It's ok ju mind it for me, now how about milk and un cookie"
