<Y/n p.o.v.>

It had been 3 years since I joined Saber, I became a lieutenant in under a year.

As of now I was going to the planet Drylt so I can look for any enrollments.

As my ship got out of spacewarp I looked at the planet, it was purple and blue with a little bit of pink.

"Sir, we're here" A soldier said.

We landed at our destination.

I walked out of the ship with a few soldiers behind me.

We walked towards the city.

We were greeted, then we were shown to where we would be teaching.

I looked at all the young faces, so much potential.

I sat down near the people.

"Alright, before we begin, I want you to watch this" I said.

The people were impressed.

"Now, let me tell you all what Saber does, we protect the universe and all the people in it, we wish to restore order to the universe, we wish for peace, that is all we want, with your help we can restore order to the universe, so join us in our mission, be a hero" I said to the people.

They cheered.

People began enrolling at the desk.

I felt proud.

Once all those who enrolled were finished they packed their stuff, said their goodbyes and went on my ship.

I took them to a frigate that was placed outside the planet's atmosphere.

Once we landed I saw a general walk to me.

"Good work y/n, they will be fine soldiers, please come with me everyone" He said as he took the candidates.

I was about to leave but I saw a messenger drone come to me.

"Lieutenant y/n l/n, orders from HQ, you are to travel to the Skitzra nebula, an emergency alarm went off in the area, you are to find the source" It said.

"Kay, cheers" I said.

It gave me the co-ordinates, I then left in my ship.

I made it to the nebula, it was purple and full of shipwrecks.

I went in closer, but still to be wary.

Thankfully I brought two additional ships squadrons to help me.

"I don't see anything, is there anything on radar" I asked.

"Negative sir, nothing" A soldier said.

I sighed.

But then...

"Wait I've got something on my motion tracker, it's big and fast" A soldier said.

"One of ours" I asked.

"No, this is something else" He said.

We then saw something over in a blue part of the nebula. 

It was a ship, it was big, black, and scary.

"IT'S THE BLACK DRAGON, ENGAGE" A soldier shouted.

We sped towards it, it stood still at first....

Then we saw the cannons point at us, it began firing.

Most of my squad were killed withing the first 3 seconds.

"HOW ARE WE GOING TO KILL THIS THI...ARGH" A soldier said before being shot at.

Only three people remained.

The two other pilots tried to shoot at the cockpit of the ship....but were destroyed.

I was then staring face to face....with death itself.

I tried to shoot it, my blasts didn't even break it, it did nothing.

Then I saw my ship being pulled in by a large beam.

I went inside the ship's bay.

I then saw a bunch of men point their guns at me.

Knowing I wouldn't win, I surrendered.

They took me to the deck of the ship.

I saw a chair in the middle of the room.

It turned around, revealing a man with a black hat.

"I'm guessing you were drawn here because of the fake distress signal, Saber always fell for that trick....now, identify yourself...wait...y/n...is that you" He asked.

"Who are you....hold on, that hat....Zero" I said.

Zero got out of his chair and he walked to me.

"So, you're apart of Saber....that's disappointing, with the potential you had you would've been a great pirate, scouring the farthest reaches of space, finding treasures, getting laid, discovering new things.....getting laid" Zero said.

"Z-Zero, you're the captain of the Black dragon" I said.

I looked at all the other pirates.

"W-what are you going to do with me" I asked.

"Because you're an old friend I'll give you a choice, join me....or die....and after I show you something....you'll definitely pick option 1" He said.

He showed a holoimage.

"What is that place" I asked.

"That....is Aswaer's capital city Millia" He said.

I was shocked, Millia was a city full of life, the city was practically golden and the sky was completely blue, green grew all around the city, it was beautiful....HOW DID IT END LIKE THIS?!

"This happened after Saber sent a drone down to the planet's council....what makes it even worse was that I made it in the first place" Zero said.

I was shocked.

"Saber did this, they aren't to be trusted" Zero said.

I still couldn't believe that they would do this.

"Now....what is your choice....join us....or die" Zero said.
