Chapter II: Meeting colleagues

Mistro awoke on a moving plane, with 6 other boys. All of them looked about the same age as him, Except one, who was significantly taller and had some facial hair. One had ruffled, blonde hair. Two of them, presumably twins, had a dark brown bowl cut. Another had ruffled brown hair, One was a little bit bulkier, and the last one, the older one, had a black haircut down the middle mostly.

As Mistro was examining the other boys, they woke up one at a time.

One of them, the brown ruffled hair, awoke with a shudder. So did the blonde ruffled hair. The bulky one woke up with a yip like foxes do. The bowl cut ones woke up with a slight scream. The blonde one shook the older one as if trying to wake him. The old one woke up as if he was never sleeping.

"So..." Mistro said as he looked around cautiously. "How did you guys die?"

"I am Frolo Captor" The blond one said. "I had set out on my raft but it sunk and I drowned."

"I am Cody Mathewson" The brown one with ruffled hair said. "I was saving my father before Vesuvius erupted. We couldn't escape in time."

"I am Vantros Dioxide." The bulky one said. "I was helping the Prince save people from the Lava but died in the process."

I am Vulzie Catzalovestrich and this is my brother Kuage" The first one with a bowl cut said.

"Lets just say, Sharks are assholes." Kuage said.

The eldest one spoke "I am Roman Carr. I was climbing the mountain when Vesuvius erupted."

"For what reason?" Frolo asked.

Roman looked him straight into the eye. "For glory."

"Well." Mistro spoke at last. "I am Mistro Makara. I was saving my father at the time of the eruption."

"Oooh." Vantros said. "Thats where i recognize you from! You were the Prince!"

"Yes. That was me. No time more to talk. Where are we?"

Vantros Spoke "We are on a train heading to..."

"To where?" Cody spoke.

"I'm not sure" Roman replied. "But the fates wouldn't put us here for no reason."

"Yes." Vulzie spoke. "They probably put Mistro in our team to lead us."

"I suppose" Mistro replied. Just then, the conductor came on the intercom.

"We are almost to our last stop: The ancient city of Pompeii!"

"Well boys," Mistro said. "Looks like we have some unfinished business to do here!"

...

"Well, Im glad it was at least preserved!" Vulzie said. Frolo, Mistro, and Cody were basically leading the pack. Kuage was basically shaking returning to his old home. Roman had a face on like he was Disappointed with the city as a father would be disappointed with his son for doing something shameful.

The tour guide took the group to the beach. "And this is where the Pompeii people had to swim to safety for hundreds of miles!" People took various pictures of the waters and the beaches themselves.

"Uh, no it isn't." Mistro spoke up.

"Excuse me?" The guide said as if challenging Mistro.

Frolo looked at Mistro and mouthed one work: "Stop"

"The people of Pompeii had few rafts to travel on." Mistro continued. "After the rafts ran out, they tore wood and supplies off of every surface to make rafts to escape desperately. The houses only look like this because people later on discovered these, decided to give false information to customers just for profit, and make it sound more like a tragedy, when it was, but was mostly a bonding to meet in the afterlife again."

"Great job," Roman whispered to Mistro. "You just blew our cover."

"You would know this how?" the guide questioned.

"Im an expert on this. I study ancient cities that don't get much recognition. This one got too much and people started to misinterpret what the eruption of Vesuvius was." Mistro replied.

"Well," the guide replied. "Why don't I just let YOU guide these people? Huh?"

"Gladly." Mistro said. On this was, you will see the shops and things that people would get goods at, Next, you will see the Prince's palace..."

"Phew. That was close." Vantros said.

"A bit too close." Kuage replied. "Man, that guide seems to take his burn hard."

"Rotten kids." Mumbled the guide. "They dont know what they are messing with."
