Marinette POV
I stared at the canopy of my bed and kept running the scenario of Adrian and my conversation outside my door. All he did was kiss me on the cheek,I'm French we literally greet each other by doing that! I thought as I did everything in my power to control my heartrate which seemed to be accelerating with every passing moment. Besides, I still have Luka! I can't be falling for Adrian because I still. have. Luka. I froze and felt my face explode with heat as I reviewed my thoughts. Not that I think I'm falling for him or anything........ I thought lamely as I tried to cover up my mistake.
"Ugh!!! It's hopeless! I can't stop thinking about it!!!!!" I yelled to no one in particular. I rolled over onto my side and groaned,
"I'm never gonna be able to fall asleep like this......" I got up and walked over to my desk. I took out my design book and started drawing the only thing I could think of, outfits based on the people I'd met in Miraculous. I drew a butterfly themed purple suit, a black and white suit covered with angular designs, a red and gold dress with black leggings, even a white dress with orange trim. The more I drew the clearer my thoughts became and the easier it was to think. I remembered what I was saying back in the physician's room and what I couldn't get myself to say,
(Flashback)
"I've been here for about a month, and I feel more at ease here after a month than I did after living in Paris for my entire life. I love this world and the people who live here,I even feel closer to Kagami who clearly hates me than I ever did with Chloe and Lila. Not to mention......."
(End flashback)
"Not to mention the fact that I've been in love with Adrian since I first met him......" I murmured as I looked down at my final design. With my head finally clear my body seemed to remember how tired I was and I closed my book and made my way back to my bed.
