Misty is really getting tired of the dirty looks from Serena, like what did she do to deserve this? oh that's right Ash chose her as his partner over Serena. Like now, here he was leaning on her shoulder poking the red head's cheek while she tried to write their paper.

'Ash knock it off, I am trying to work, remember we have work to do,"

"But Mist, you write better then me, remember I write like well a toddler,"

"I know, but  at least let me write in peace, here," she handed him a bag of chips, "Eat,"

"Deal,"

Somehow Misty made it threw that period unharmed, and threw most of lunch as well, it was when they all entered back into the classroom for the final period did they notice the room had changed around. Mostly it was Misty who had the shock, her desk was now behind Serena, great...

"Class as you can see we had to rearrange for two new students we will be having in our class, unfortunately they had to leave after enrolling so they will be here tomorrow in first period, so please lets welcome them with open arms,"

"I wonder if they are cute," May picked as Drew snorted

"Maybe it will be a girl and boy,"

"Or two girls,"

"hey misty what do you think," Ash asked looking around Serena at her

"I'm not sure, but I cant wait till tomorrow now,"

"Bye Misty," Ash said as he took off towards his house

"Uh, bye Ash,' Serena said shyly as she walked home

Misty started her walk home, counting each step she took till the final Light Pole where Catra will be waiting for her, but the sound of footsteps behind her was making the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. No one ever walked this way when she was heading home, no one.

'Catra,"

"I'm here," Catra called as she showed up in a dark ally near Misty

"So she is here," Someone whispered

Misty turned around to see two boys standing at a corner shop, looking at a TV playing the news, one of them had purple hair with a black tank top, and brown cargo shorts on, the other a blonde haired boy wearing a orange short sleeve shirt with black stripes on the arm and brown cargo shorts as well. They didn't seam to notice Misty as they took the corner down a street talking about something Misty couldn't really hear,

"Misty what is wrong,"

"I could have sworn some one was following me, they weren't there before," She whispered

"Shall I follow them,"

"No, lets just go home, I'm not feeling well anymore,"

"Shall I carry you,"

Misty looked at Catra, she had shrunk a little in size, it was like Misty came just below her hip. But she was a lot taller then that when she entered battle, some times she was as tall as two stories. However that all depended on the opponent, though Catra had never gotten taller then that, Misty still wondered if Catra would ever be as big as she was the first day they met. Catra squatted down and Misty climbed up to sit on her forearm, as Catra took off Jumping from buildings to buildings before running the rest of the way home, where Misty climbed in her bedroom window on the second floor.

'Thanks Catra," She said walking away from the window to head down stairs.

Catra jumped up onto the roof where she laid out leaning her back on the chimney, this is where she always sat, waiting for Misty to say lets go. She didn't however think Misty would be going on a hunt tonight, she could feel it however that something was coming.

"Misty are you alright," She asked, by now it was late, the sun had set and the only light they had way out here from the city was the security light behind the house,

"I'm ok Catra, I just, I just have a lot going on,"

"Do you wish to talk about it,"

"Not really, Good night Catra,"

"Good Night,'

Catra sighed, Misty had really grown quite distant with her since she had gotten older, but Catra knew all of the ways Misty's mind worked so her attitude never worried her but there was times she wished the girl would open up and have friends. Closing her eyes Catra pretended to sleep to easy Misty's suspicion she would leave In the night

 Misty woke up to the sound of Catra jumping of the roof, witch signaled Mrs. Reina had go outside to collect the eggs, and milk from the few Chickens and Cows they had. Misty got out of bed and got dressed, as Mrs. Renia started cooking.

"Today we are getting two new Classmates,' Misty said drinking her milk

"Really, that's lovely,' Mrs Renia said

"Not really, defiantly if it ends up being more people like Serena,"

"Misty how rude,"

"I'm sorry,

"I Understand how you feel about those kinds of people, but not all of them are like your sisters,"

"I know, I'm just sour,"

"just have a good day,"

"i will," Misty kissed the old ladys cheek as she walked out the door

She got down away from the house before calling for Catra and having her Jump her to school

"Catra, will you stick around the school today,"

"You are nervous about the new people,"

"Yes, I am, so will you stay close,"

'I will be here," She said nodding

Misty walked to class, but kept looking over her shoulder towards the shadows where Catra stood, her blue eyes shinning in the darkness.

"Ok everyone, as I said we have two new Students joining us today, if you will all be kind to welcome, Paul and Trip to our class," The teacher said as the door opened  and two boys walked in

Misty's eyes widened, they where the boys from yesterday, the ones at the TV Shop, and now they where making their way to sit on either side of Misty, having Paul the purple haired one, sitting in her old desk, and Trip on the other side.  Misty felt her body start shaking, she didn't do knew people, she didn't she

"Catra get me out of here," She whispered as she lowered her head to the desk

'She cant save you forever,' Some one whispered

"She cant keep going with out absorbing," Someone else whispered

But when she looked around no one was looking at her or alone talking, everyone was surrounding the new kids, Misty was alone.

"Can I be excused please," Misty asked

"Sure take a pass,"

Misty grabbed the pass and took off, as she walked down the hallways..

"Catra now,'

"As you wish,"

An with a gust of wind down the hallways, the school pass dropped to the floor in a quiet echo down the empty hallways.
