It has been 2 years since the Battle against Rigor and the Son family were together watching a movie and smiling while being with each other.

Gohan - D-Dad?

Goku - Yes.

Gohan - I think...it's time I learned how to go Super Saiyan or at least control my power.

Goku was shocked of his request because ever since Gohan started training he showed great promise. Even Goku was scared of what could happen if he just released everything in the future without control.

Goku - ...Okay son tomorrow we'll go to the Lookout and have you learn a lot more techniques.

Gohan - Thanks dad.

Soon after Eri went back to the U.A dorms and continued her second year at U.A. She was already ahead that she could be in the top 5 pros with her talent.

While in the Lookout Goku and Gohan were inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Goku - Okay Gohan I know you don't have much experience with fighting so I got someone who can help us with things I don't know and maybe give you some new techniques.

Gohan was confused but he felt the area starting to shake as the ground started to rise and Goku just smiled as he looked to his left.

Gohan turned the same direction his father was looking and saw Majin Buu.

Buu - Gohan today will be your first day of "Buu Camp".....

Goku - That was super corny.

Buu - Shut up.

Buu dropped to the ground and had Gohan learn all the basics again. Gohan was getting a little impatient but Goku would always tell him that with perfect control must come patience.

Gohan was seen sitting in front of Majin Buu both of them meditating. Goku would think of joining but he decided to let Gohan figure it out.

Buu - Your son has quite the potential even higher than I expected.

Goku - Yeah that's my boy.

Buu - But something worries me....it's his power. He's growing at an incredible rate but too incredible.

Goku - Yeah but once you are able to get his fighting techniques in shape then I'll step in.

Buu - Did you tell him yet?

Goku - No. Me and Camie agreed to tell the kids sooner or later but not right now.

Buu was even more worried for the reaction of Eri and Gohan when they would hear the news but he decided to drop the subject.

Buu - Okay Gohan one last time.

Both continued their training as Goku did his own training but he just couldn't focus so much because sooner or later his heart was gonna break.

4 months have passed inside the chamber and Goku had started to train Gohan even more different techniques even Goku's strongest attack. The Dragon Fist.

Goku - All that energy pour it into your fist and imagine yourself as a powerful Dragon that can defeat anything.

Gohan powered up and practiced the move but he still wasn't able to learn Super Saiyan. Even with the intense training with Buu it didn't work.

Gohan - Buu is right dad. Your too soft to train me properly! Fight me seriously Dad!

Goku backed away as he had a serious look and he transformed into a Super Saiyan. He gave a look to Gohan basically saying "This is what you want? Then be careful what you wish for" Blowing his son away with just the sheer power of his scream.

Goku flew high and stayed there but he moved his arms and started to power up a Kamehameha. With Gohan powering up to his maximum while also remembering the words his father would tell him everytime he was close to reaching the Super Saiyan level.

"Power comes in response to a need, not a desire. You have to create a need."

Goku - Ka......Me......HA.....ME......

Gohan - Masenko....HAA!!!

Goku - HAA!

Both blast collided and Gohan was obviously struggling while the blast was slowly overpowering his and something started to enter the mind of Gohan.

Gohan - Whe-Where am I?

Goku - Power comes in a response of need not a desire.

Gohan - Dad!

Suddenly the scene changed to U.A with everyone dead with only just a few alive but Gohan saw the bodies of Eri, Bakugo, Todoroki etc. Gohan started to cry as he didn't wanted anyone to die but he blamed himself for being so stupid. He remembered when he saw Rigor holding his parent's bodies while laughing.

Gohan - No! NO! NO! I want to save them all but I'm just too weak and I NEED to save them all.

Gohan soon moved his body on it's own and released a yell which engulfed the area of the Time Chamber but soon his eyes turned teal green. His hair turning gold and his rage at it's limit and pushed the Kamehameha back.

Goku dodged the blast and saw Gohan had finally done it. Gohan had finally become a Super Saiyan.

Goku - Gohan you need to focus your energy. Just take a breath.

Gohan tried his best but he dropped from the form and fell to the ground and Goku just walked towards him.

Gohan - I'm sorry Dad I was so close.

Goku - Hey it's gonna be fine. I'm proud of you.

Both went to get some sleep and for the next week Gohan was now able to turn Super Saiyan on command.

After only half a day inside the chamber both exited the chamber and Goku was proud of the results that Gohan showed.

4 hours later Eri used instant transmission and the Son family was now sitting at the table with Goku not having his cheerful face.

Goku - I have some news which will he shocking so whatever happens I want you all to know that I love you and to train well because my time as the protector of Earth has come to an end.

Eri - Dad why are you speaking like your dying?

Goku - No (chuckled) Me and the others, have joined the Galactic Patrol and we will no longer be on Earth as much.

This shocked the children but Goku assured them that he will call them and whenever there was trouble. But Eri and Gohan were sad because they wouldn't see his father anymore.

Goku - That's why Gohan,Eri both of you are the new protectors of this planet. Even if you stay in Japan you'll still protect everyone. So promise me you'll train harder and never stop until it's the next generations turn.

Gohan and Eri hugged Goku which caught him off guard and in tears both promised him.

Gohan - Dad what about my training in Super Saiyan.

Goku - Your gonna have to learn how to achieve the next level on your own son. Eri will guide you but you will make your own road.

Gohan - But I can't go on without you.

Goku - Yes you can because your my son. And I never said I wouldn't be here. Whenever you need me I'll be here..

After a few more minutes of tears Goku packed his stuff and kissed Camie as she rubbed her stomach and Goku smiled happily knowing the world would be safe and Gohan and Eri raised their fist telling him "We'll make you proud!"

Goku nodded and used his Instant Transmission and Earth was now in the hands of The Next Generation.
