Tonight was the Biggest Party of the Summer with a lot on the line with such high stakes, the WWE Universe can't help but be all excited for the following match card:

The House of Bliss (Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Stratton and Thea Hail) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky and Bayley) - Eight woman tag team match

Jey Uso and LA Knight vs. The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) - Tag team match

Gunther (c) (with Ludwig Kaiser) vs. Chad Gable (with Otis and Maxxine Dupri) - Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Asuka (c) vs. Cora Jade vs. Charlotte Flair - Triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship

Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Drew McIntyre - Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship

Randy Orton (c) (with Cody Rhodes) vs. "Aswang" Alex Auditore - Singles match for the WWE Championship

Tonight also marks the one year since the passing of the late Bray Wyatt, so to pay tribute to the Eater of Worlds, Alex's attire top was adorned with Wyatt's moth logo pinned in the center of the blood red Philippine sun.

SummerSlam opened with the war between the House of Bliss and Damage CTRL as the Role Model Bayley led Iyo, Kairi and Dakota to the ring as the nefarious group set themselves up for a fight. Then the Goddess Alexa Bliss led her "wrestling daughters" and ordered Tiffany, Roxanne and Thea to surround the rings Shield style. Damage CTRL covered their flanks as the House of Bliss got on the apron; Alexa nodded and a brawl ensued as the eight women traded punches while the referee tries to get things under control; the bell rang as the two women left in the ring were Roxanne and Dakota, a rematch from SmackDown.

Roxanne and Dakota picked up were they left off from SmackDown as the Prodigy looks to get some revenge of the cheap victory thanks to Iyo Sky's interference. Roxanne landed forearm shots to faze Kai, making her stumble to her corner. The Prodigy proceeded to point and taunt at the Joshi Judas, saying she wants her for a fight. Iyo smirked and taunted, but obliged as she tagged herself in and stepped up to the Prodigy while the WWE Universe witnessed a dream match between two of the biggest female wrestlers in the independent scenes as they see Rok-C vs. Io Shirai.

Roxanne and Iyo went for the Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn style punches as they tried to one up each other and see who gets the advantage; Rox got the better of the melee as she landed a spin kick to Iyo's gut; she then went for an early Pop Rox, but Iyo countered with a backflip, showcasing her agility.

As the House of Bliss and Damage CTRL brawled once again at ringside, Iyo and Tiffany stared at each other as they got to the top turnbuckles and flattened everyone else with their own respective moonsaults. Tiffany and Bayley were the legal women for their team as they got back in the ring while Stratton escapes an attempted Roseplant from Bayley and drops the Role Model with a DDT; then she went for a submission hold, which was a modified version of Austin Aries' Last Chancery submission; however, unbeknownst to Stratton, a blind tag was made from Kairi and while the Center of the Universe got Bayley trapped in her submission, the Pirate Princess got to the top and nails the Insane Elbow on Tiffany; as she went for the pinfall, it was broken up by the energetic Thea Hail. Thea landed shots on Damage CTRL, knocking them down to the floor; she then got up and took them all out with a cross body.

Back in the ring, Kairi pushed Tiffany to the corner where Roxanne made a blind tag. The Pirate Princess took down Stratton with the spinning back fist, not knowing Perez was lying and waiting; as Tiffany rolled out, Roxanne capitalized with Pop Rox, then tagged in Alexa to finish off Damage CTRL with Twisted Bliss for the pinfall victory.

Jey Uso got the best of his older twin brother Jimmy as he and LA Knight defeated the Tribal Chief's lieutenants after an Uso Splash from Main Event Jey onto his twin.

Gunther and Chad Gable once again delivered another instant classic banger of hard and stiff hits and old school style wrestling, but in the end Der Ring General stood tall after putting the Master of the Alpha Academy to sleep by a rear naked choke, continuing his dominant Intercontinental title reign.

An official statement has been sent to the creative department regarding the state of the WWE Universal Championship. Roman Reigns, the current Universal Champion will walk into his match against Drew McIntyre with the Universal title, but whoever man wins the match will become the new champion of the reestablished World Heavyweight Championship. The title itself is set on a pedestal next to the announcers' table, waiting for its new wielder, either the Tribal Chief or the Scottish Warrior.

Now it was the triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship as the Empress of Damage CTRL Asuka defends against Legacy's Queen Charlotte Flair and the House of Bliss' rising star Cora Jade. All three women made their entrances and were ready for a fight.

Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Cora Jade

From the opening bell, Cora stood her ground and fought both women by landing punch combos of lefts and rights while knowing Charlotte will be difficult to take down due to her size advantage. Cora managed to held her ground until Asuka fazed her with spinning back forearm shot, allowing Charlotte to take advantage and fazed the champion with a boot. The Queen tossed Cora out of the ring to make the match a one on one temporarily.

Asuka and Charlotte recalled their strong history from years ago from fighting each other to becoming tag team champions at one point. The two women went for offense moves, but ducked and avoided each others' shots. Moments later, Cora got back in the match as she climbed the top turnbuckle and took down both women with a missile dropkick. She then took down Charlotte with a Satellite DDT and fazed Asuka with a step up enziguri, making the Empress stumble to the corner.

Seeing both women at the opposite corners, Cora hit both Asuka and Charlotte with running uppercuts followed by running knees to the face. After one more running knee, Cora tossed Charlotte out of the ring to focus on the champion.

Charlotte has trapped Asuka in the Figure 8 Leg Lock right in the middle of the ring. The Empress had nowhere to crawl to and due to triple threat rules, there were no rope breaks; however, the submission hold was broken up as Cora jumped from the top turnbuckle for a senton. Cora takes advantage and finished the Queen off with her version of Drew's Future Shock DDT, making Charlotte roll out of the ring; Cora turned and hits another Future Shock on Asuka for the pinfall victory and a new champion was crowned.

The young female wrestler was in disbelief and cried tears of joy as she was given the WWE Women's Championship, making Cora the youngest champion of the banner. She then raised the championship as her House of Bliss sisters joined in the celebration while Tiffany and Roxanne lifted her on their shoulders.

It was now time for one of the main event matches as the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns enters SummerSlam on his final night as the WWE Universal Champion as the newly reestablished World Heavyweight Championship is on his sights as his new crown and the new family crest for the Bloodline.

After the Chief made his grand entrance, he went to take a look at the World Heavyweight title up close while the Wiseman Paul Heyman showered Reigns with compliments. The Tribal Chief gave the Universal title and his Samoan red ula fala necklace to his special counsel before getting in the ring all ready for McIntyre.

The Scottish Warrior made his entrance with two things on his mind: toppling the Tribal Chief and winning the world title in front of live fans. McIntyre also took a closer look at the World Heavyweight title before getting in the ring as he stares down at the Chief.

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

It was a Clash at the Castle rematch as McIntyre looks for revenge against Reigns and the Bloodline as he locked up with the Head of the Table in an intense test of strength. McIntyre managed to back Reigns to the corner, forcing to break the hold to avoid the five count disqualification. The two men started to trade hard right hands to see who will faze the other, but both managed to stay on their feet; Drew stumbled to the ropes and hits a boot, but Roman fired back with his signature jumping lariat, taking the Scotsman off his feet for the time being.

Roman got Drew in position for a Samoan Drop, but McIntyre landed elbow shots to the side of the champion's head, allowing him to get Reigns in position for a Future Shock, but the Tribal Chief countered and finally executes a Samoan Drop, but only good for a two count. Reigns took this time to gloat and taunt the live crowd and his opponent. The Tribal Chief prepared for a Superman Punch while Drew slowly got back on his feet; Reigns went for his signature, but Drew side stepped and hits a sudden Claymore on the champion, but Reigns wisely rolled out of the ring to avoid a pin attempt. Upset, McIntyre pursued the champion to the outside, and rolled Roman back in the ring.

However, Reigns played possum and as Drew got back in the ring, the Tribal Chief landed a Superman Punch on the challenger, but McIntyre managed to get his shoulder up before the three count. Roman was frustrated and looks to put Drew down for good as he was setting up for the Spear. The Chief measured and waited for McIntyre to get back up, and as the Scotsman was back on his feet, Roman lunged but Drew sidestepped at the last moment which resulted in Reigns spearing the referee instead; Drew took advantage of the confusion and lands another Claymore, but with the referee down, there was no one to count the pin.

With the referee down, the Bloodline's Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa ran down to aid the Tribal Chief. McIntyre got his hands on Jimmy, but the elder Uso twin hung the Scotsman on the ropes, fazing the challenger which allowed Roman and Solo to hit a Samoan Spike and Spear combo. Another referee came running down to count, but McIntyre still managed to get his shoulder up at the last second, much to the shock of the Bloodline.

Frustrated, Roman took his anger out on the second referee and tossed him out of the ring; he then ordered the Bloodline to clear out the announce table; however, the chaos stopped as Main Event Jey Uso's theme played as he and LA Knight ran down to the ring and neutralized Jimmy and Solo. Amidst the chaos at ringside, Drew recovered and surprised the Tribal Chief with a third Claymore, but didn't make the pin due to no referee around. McIntyre hits a fourth Claymore right as a third referee came running down to the ring. The crowd got McIntyre fired up as the Scotsman hits the Head of the Table with a fifth and final Claymore kick with the crowd counting with the referee and popped loudly as a new World Heavyweight Champion was crowned.

McIntyre sat up as he was awarded with the World Heavyweight title, which gave nostalgic vibes for long time fans as it looked like the iconic Big Gold Belt with a modern makeover for WWE's current era.

Pyro began going off as McIntyre raised his newly won world championship, achieving and finishing his story of winning a title in front of a live crowd. But with his title win, Drew McIntyre has to be transferred over to Raw due to the title being exclusive to the brand. As he walked up to the stage area, he was greeted by his ally, the new WWE Women's Champion Cora Jade. The two nodded at each other in respect as they clinked their championships together.

Coming up next was the main event of SummerSlam, as the Venomous Viper Randy Orton defends his WWE Championship agains his former student and prodigal son, "The Aswang" Alex Auditore. Creative has updated the main event to a street fight, so that means no count outs and no disqualifications.
