"Adrien, now where did you find this young lady?"  Gabriel ask.

         "Yes, I would like to know the same thing."  Emilie says.

        "It is a long story. " Adrien says.

        "Are they not all long stories?"  Emilie says.

        "Just let him, answer,now will you?"  Marinette blurts out.

       "No one was speaking to you."  Gabriel scoffs.

       "Yes, that is quite right."  Emilie remarks.

        "Mom, Dad, I will not allow you to ridicule my wife!" Adrien says.

           Both, Gabriel and Emilie shake their heads at once!  They are not to happy about this whole  wife thing.  Let alone about the fact, they did not ever met her before today!   It is rather obvious they have no desire to get along with her!  Why Adrien can see the looks of disapproval shown at once across both their faces!  It is something that is not easily able to be forgotten.

       "Adrien, come to your senses and file to divorce her!"  Gabriel says.

      "Yes, listen to your father!"  Emilie says.

        "I will not!  I refuse to do as you say anymore!  I am not a child!  I am grown up!"  Adrien says.  He puts an arm around Marinette.  He does this to show he intends to remain with her rather he has any approval from them or not.

       " Hmm, well then, we shall take our leave at  once!"  Emilie says angrily.

       "Come on let us go, darling!"  Gabriel says.  He does not appear to be that happy either.  If anything he seems mad too.

          After Gabriel and Emilie leave, Marinette sits down!  She is still in shock that her in-laws should be this awful!  She thinks, no wonder he does not speak about them!  No wonder he feels like it is an embarrassment to be part of their family. 

         "Marinette!  I am sorry!"  Adrien says. He hugs her close.

       "Adrien , it is okay!  You do not need to be sorry!"  Marinette says.  She smiles at him.

            Adrien kisses Marinette and she returns the kiss!  The two grew closer together as husband and wife.  It seems the more people show their disapproval the more they love each other and stick it out.

           Adrien and Marinette decide they could care less who approves and who does not.  This has no baring on the love they have for one another.   This is just a part of life like anything else.  It is a thing that soon enough they will be able to ignore. 

          Adrien gets a text from his mother.  He sees she just bad mouths, Marinette the entire time. He deletes the message.  He deletes all the messages from   his father too.  He might as well plan to ignore anything they have to say from here on out!  He does not want to bother with people who waste time with criticizing his woman for no reason!  Why should he?  

         He thinks, it was  bad enough to deal with his father hurling insults to his mother when he was growing up with his folks.  He often believes this is what made his mother gradually go from being  a sweet person who was compassionate as ever to be a cruel, harsh person instead.  It is not like he could come up with some better idea as what could have caused such harm.
