Listen carefully, the creatures exist.

Those mythological creatures you hear about in your bedtime stories? In fairy tales? They're real. They may have been extinct before, but now they're rising back into existence.

How, exactly?

Well, no one's sure about that yet.

Remember the unicorns, the dragons, the sphinx,the satyrs, the leprechauns?

Yeah, they're all real.

You're luckier if all the mythological creatures in your culture are friendly and kind.

You may not see them, or hear them, but they're here. Around you. On this world. Living, breathing, killing.

But don't worry.
Because we're here too.
We're the Sights, known in different names in different countries.

We're everywhere too, all around the world. That little sister of yours that said she saw a unicorn? She may not be lying. She might be a Sight. Then you'd better train her to fight with a knife.
It's normal for children to be one.
But not many grew up as one.

We can see them.
We can see these creatures. These monsters.
And it's our job to protect you from them.

We don't know exactly how long we have to fight, or how long will this last, but whatever happens, please, we beg you to believe.

Believe in us, have faith in us.
If someone comes to your door and announces he's a Sight, and asks for help, please kindly help them out. Note: look for a glowing treasury, otherwise it might be just a robber.

Some of us are aggressive, others soft and gentle. Some a bit cold and cynical, others cheerful and kind.

Whatever it is, we're humans, weak and strong and scared and brave and nice and bad, and we make mistakes. Please forgive us if we fail.
