Went the sound of a 8 year olds bare feet as he ran away from all the other kids chasing after him. Giggling and laughing came from all the children , who was about 2 years older than them watched , now this kid wanted to play. The kid came up to the group and then asked. ❝ Hey ! Can I play ? ❞ asked the kid. ❝ Sure you can , Kokichi ! But you have to go easy on us because you're older than us ! ❞ ❝ don't worry ! I'll go easy , I pinky promise ! ❞.

Kokichi started to play tag with the other kids , A 10 year old girl just watched from a far as the other kids played , her name was Miu , Miu Iruma , she came to the orphanage not to long ago after a car crash had wiped out both her parents. Miu didn't trust any of the kids here , well of course she talked to them from time to time , but she couldn't keep up a good conversation. Like if someone were to compliment her hair she would say thank you and run away. And if someone were to start a conversation , she would just make up an excuse and just run away.

❝ Hey ! New girl do you wanna play ? ❞ Asked kokichi , noticing her just watching , Miu shook her head a ' no '. Kokichi pouted and walked over to her with his hands on his hips , in a dramatic pose. ❝ Come on ! You can't stay in your sad corner all the time ! You've gotta come out and play at some point. ❞ Miu once again shook her head and ran away from him.

Kokichi tilted her head in confusion , why does she always run away from him ? Well he was going to find out sooner or later , and he chose sooner , as in right now. Kokichi looked at the other kids ❝ Hey ! Continue on without me I will be right back ❞ he instructed , the kids nodding and continued their game of tag.

Miu was walking down an empty hallway , trying to find a quiet place to read , she saw a adult from down the hallway , she didn't think anything of it until she was stopped. ❝ hey there little gal , what are you doing out here all alone ? ❞ the adult male asked the youngling. ❝ Well I was trying to find some place to read ❞ she answered. ❝ Well I know a wonderful place to read , follow me- ❞ Miu shook her head looking down at her bare feet and scraped knees. ❝ My mama told me not to follow people if I don't know who they are , so goodbye mister ❞ Miu responded , as she turned around to walk away she was grabbed and pulled back.

❝ H - Hey , let me go ❞ she spoke weakly , the man ' s hands started to rub her shoulders gently ❝ don't worry you'll be liking it soon enough ~ ❞ he reassured , Miu ' s eyes filled with tears as the Man's hands started to go lower and started to rub at the girl ' s chest. Miu began to gasp and weep. ❝ p - p - please stop ❞ she said weekly but no response , she felt a tug at the hem of her gown , she let out a chocked sob.

❝ Hey ! What are you doing to her ?! ❞ another adult ' s voice boomed , which surprised both Miu and the man. Another employee came and yanked the adult off Miu and dragged him away. ❝ don't worry miss , I will stay here and make sure she's okay ❞ Kokichi told the lady , who was in charge of the orphanage. ❝ Thank you , Kokichi ❞ Kokichi nodded a ' you're welcome ' and walked over to the Miu who was shaking like a leaf.

❝ Are you okay ? ❞ he asked the female , who did nothing but shake her head. ❝ I've been told about those people before , they are nasty , old men who don't have a girlfriend so they go after pretty little girls like yourself ❞ Kokichi made a gagging sound in disgust , Miu looked shocked ❝ Y - You think I'm pretty ? ❞ ❝ well duh ! He wouldn't have gone after you if you weren't , but don't worry ! He won't hurt you any more ❞ he reassured.

Kokichi sat down and pat the spot next to him , signaling Miu to sit down next to him , Miu took the signal and sat down next to him.  ❝ Your name is Miu right ? ❞ he asked and Miu nodded her head. ❝ Well you have a very pretty name ! And yes my name is Kokichi ❞ ❝ Well thank you , and it's nice to meet you , Kokichi ❞ she said quietly and Kokichi nodded.

❝ Hey Kokichi ❞ she spoke up , Kokichi looked at her and hummed in response. ❝ Thank you for saving me , but why did you save me ? Other Kids would have been to scared to interfere ❞ she mumbled and Kokichi grinned widely at Miu. ❝ well because you're smart ! And I like smart people ! And well , I'm not like other kids , I couldn't just let that man continue what he was doing ❞ he responded. Which made Miu happy
