Senior Brother Disciple (3)
By the time he check out of his room and reached the Moonlight Sect, the sun was shining brightly above the sky. In front of him were 15 rows of newly accepted disciples. And each row had 30 disciples standing in line. Jolan went up to each line and asked which Master Teacher row the new disciples were waiting for and as they each gave off a different name, Jolan kept on moving.
By the end of the 15th row, Jolan scratched his head in confusion. Where was his Master Teacher's row? How was he supposed to check in with his Master Teacher.
Just when Jolan was going to think back to his previous life to get his answers, the loud crowd of new disciples became quiet and watched at an Old Man, dressed in light green came out with several students that wore white.
Jolan immediately recognized the old man as his Master Teacher. Headmaster Colo greeted each teacher first then directly came up to Jolan.
"You must be my new disciple."
Jolan quickly bowed and answered.
"Yes, Headmaster Colo. This disciple's name is Jolan Pricer."
"How old are you this year?"
"16 years old, Headmaster."
"Good. Good." Headmaster Colo said as he looked over his new disciple with a happy face.
Jolan Pricer, 16 years old, tested at their annual recruitment to the Moonlight Sect. After touching the Magic Testing Stone, it shined gold. Letting the recruiters knows that he had rich golden veins and a golden core. His strength and skills would be above the rest and as long as he followed his Master Teacher, he would be a man above many.
"Come." Headmaster Colo said as he led Jolan and the rest of his disciples into the Moonlight Sect.
Everyone else looked at Jolan with envy. Although they were accepted into the Moonlight Sect, their Master Teacher was not the Headmaster. Jolan would get the best resources first before any of them.
"Valentin.' Headmaster Colo said as he stopped in front of the dormitory.
"Yes, Headmaster." Valentin said as he stepped forward.
Jolan stared at Valentin from head to toe and nodded his head. Valentin was a very handsome man. With long black hair to his waist, dark violet eyes and strong features, anyone would be blessed to have his face. He was two heads taller than Jolan and his whole body looked to be toned and muscled.
"Introduce the new disciple to the others and show him around. Get him a new uniform and show him the canteen. Tell him the rules and punishments as well. You will be responsible for him."
"Yes, Headmaster." Valentin said as he bowed at Headmaster Colo.
Everyone else bowed to Headmaster Colo as he left to his office.
After a quick introduction to the rest of the disciples, Valentin took Jolan to get five new sets of uniform, showed him the canteen and their dormitory.
"Here is our dormitory." Valentin said as he entered the building.
Inside was a large courtyard with several buildings.
"Each disciple gets their own place. Your's will be towards the back." Valentin said as he pointed to each house and told Jolan who lived there.
When they reached Jolan's home, Valentin helped him clean up his new home, which was three rooms. A bedroom, a bathroom and a receiving room.
After cleaning and organizing his room, Valentin sat down by the table and waited for Jolan to change. To Jolan's shameless self, he didn't close the door all the way while he changed. He also acted as if he didn't notice Valentin's eyes look over his body.
Valentin's seduction had already begun the moment Jolan saw Valentin. Jolan smiled to himself as he slowly wiped himself with a wet towel first, before changing. The whole time he kept his back and side to Valentin, letting Valentin get a nice peak at his goods.
When Jolan changed into his all white robe, Valentin's eyes had already made its way to look outside.
"All done." Jolan said as he smiled sweetly at Valentin.
"Let's go eat." Valentin said as they walked back to the canteen.
For some reason Valentin had an affinity with Jolan the moment he saw Jolan. It felt as if the whole world shifted for him and his soul reached out to tie itself to Jolan. From the top of Jolan's head to his toes, everything about him was special and precious.
After helping Jolan clean his home, Jolan forgot to close the door tightly when he changed. But Valentin didn't mind, they were both boys, they all had the same parts. However when his eyes caught Jolan's backside, a strange attachment came over him. As if he couldn't stop looking at Jolan. Somehow he knew that Jolan belonged beside him.
The thought of Jolan disappearing one day worried him. He must keep a closer eye on Jolan.
"How long have you been Headmaster's disciple?" Jolan asked. Although he already knew, he had to pretend he didn't.
"Since I was 5 years old."
"And how old are you now?"
"18 years old."
"You're not much older than I am. It was lucky that you were admitted as Headmaster's disciple when you were young."
"I had nowhere else to go." Valentin admitted. Usually he didn't talk about his past. But for some reason, he wanted Jolan to know about him and he wanted to know more about Jolan. "What about you?"
"I wish I was admitted as Headmaster's disciple when I was young as well." Jolan said as he smiled through his sadness. "My Father died when I was five, leaving behind my mother, me and four siblings. As the oldest, I had to grow up fast. Taking care of my siblings, while my mother worked."
"I'm sorry about your Father. It must have been rough on you, taking care of your siblings at such a young age."
"It was, but it taught me to cherish those around me."
"What happened next?"
"Mother found a new "Daddy" for us. He was nothing, but a lazy bum. Not lifting a finger to help around the house or have a job. The only thing he knew how to do is drink, yell and hit us. I use to hide the other kids when he was on a tirade. I tried stopping him from hitting mother. Tried convincing mother to leave. But my words held no worth. When I was 13 years old, he attacked my mother. I was a young foolish boy, stronger than anyone I knew. I stopped him from killing my mother that day, however I also broke his nose and arm. Mother blamed me. Said it was all my fault. He gave her the ultimatum to either kick me out or he'll leave. Guess what her choice was."
Valentin kept his mouth shut. He didn't know what to say to Jolan to comfort him. He just let Jolan talk.
"She dropped me off at an orphanage and told me to never go home again. I found myself living at the orphanage for only two days then I left. Found myself an apprenticing job at a blacksmith. I worked and lived there for three years, thinking that I would save enough money to take my siblings away from the hell hole, we called home. When I went back to get my siblings... they were all gone."
"What happened?" Valentin asked as they stopped by the road.
"House fire. Or so the neighbors say. Everyone of them. All except that man."
Valentin pulled Jolan's hand and lead him into a small clearing in the woods. Once inside of the clearing, Valentin pulled Jolan into a hug. The sweet scent on Jolan was pushing Valentin's memories to remember, but remember what?
Jolan stood still as he let Valentin hold him. To Jolan's surprise, Valentin's scent was familiar, but he couldn't remember where he smelled it before.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Jolan said as his face was buried in Valentin's chest. "They're all in a better place now. And I made a promise, that if I ever saw that man again, I'll kill him in retribution."
"I'll help you."
"Is it a promise?"
"Yes, it's a promise. I sort of wish you were found by Headmaster when you were young too." Valentin confessed.
"Why is that?"
"Then you wouldn't have to experience so much struggle as a child, so much pain as a young boy, but most of all, we would have grown up together."
Jolan smiled at the thought of them growing up together.
"That would have been nice."
Valentin nodded his head in agreement. He had a strong feeling to kiss the top of Jolan's head. And for just a moment, he let himself do what his impulses wanted him to do.
Valentin lifted Jolan's face up as Valentin leaned down. His violet eyes searched Jolan's green eyes for any hesitation or any doubt, before kissing Jolan on his lips lightly.
Jolan's peach blossom eyes widen in surprise.
"Now that you're here, stay by my side. I'll take care of you."
