“Are you sure there are no movements from the Zither Master’s side?”  Xinyue asked one more time.

"None.  They are preparing for the wedding, while the Zither Master is at work at her shop.”

“Then who is it that poisoned me?!?”  Xinyue shouted as she threw the hot teacup at the little boy’s face.  

The little boy reacted fast and used his chopsticks to knock the teacup to the side, however the hot tea splashed all over his hand and face.  His face changed and an annoyed look came upon his face before he looked away and held his anger inside.

“If not the Zither Master then who!”  Xinyue asked one more time as she slammed the table, making the tea set jump to the vibrations.  

“Who else could poison you without you or me noticing?”  He asked as he looked at her and the annoyed look was gone.  

“The Emperor?”  Xinyue gasped in disbelief.  “He… he would never… after all I’ve done for...him… he…”  

“He could and he would.  He has the means to do it, why can’t he?  Ever since you married him, when was the last time he visited you in bed?  Only that one time that caused my “birth” into this world. When has he ever held on to tradition to see you at least twice a month, on the first and fifthteeth of the month.  When??”

“Shut up.”  She called out to him.  “Don’t slander my Zhelan.”  

“If you don’t want to hear then I won’t say anymore.”  He told her as he stood up.

With a flick of his hands, his clothes changed into a dry set and the red skin on his hand and face as gone.  It was as if he nothing had happened to him at all.

“That ungrateful bastard!”  Xinyue pounded the table once again.  “And my family? What about them? What are they going to do, knowing I’m now imprisoned under false pretenses!”  

“They too are surrounded under false pretenses.”  Her Revenge System told her. He could see their endings soon, if his Hosts doesn’t leave this cursed world.  She had long succeeded her mission, why does she have to stay to cause so much chaos over a man and an innocent woman?  

“That bastard!”  Xinyue shouted again as she flipped over the table.  “Don’t think that I won’t kill him, just because I fell in love with him!”  

The Revenge system disappeared and became a sphere.  It followed it’s Host as the Host began to kill. First the servants who guarded her door, then the palace guards who guarded her courtyard.  She made a trail of dead bodies all the way to the King’s courtyard, where his personal shadow guards came out and word of her killing spree had long reached his ears.  

The Empress was held back by the shadow guards, as she was surrounded by their skillful attacks.  

[Wanting to kill my Host with those pitiful skills?  Dream on!] Scam commented over the streamed live feed.   

The Empress did not have enough energy to keep up with the shadow guards and soon fell into their hands.  They held her down as the Emperor came out of his courtyard and stepped on the back of her head, causing her to completely kiss the ground.  

“You dare try to kill this Emperor, when all this Emperor has done everything you asked of this Emperor?”  He said slowly as he let his weight fall into his feet, causing Xinyue’s head to dig in deeper into the ground.  “You dare kill this Emperor’s subjects and spill blood in front of this Emperor!”

“You betrayed me.”  Xinyue muffledly shouted, however Zhelan heard her clearly.  

“How?”  

“You are investigating my family, creating a case against them.  You secretly poisoned me, wanting me to die so you can place that Zither Master as the next Empress. But when the poisoned failed, you surround my courtyard with guards, prisoning me inside.  Sending more guards to my family’s residence to guard them so they can’t help me. You betrayed me first, so why can’t I kill you?”

“If you want to kill this Emperor, you must first have the skills to do so.”  Emperor Zhelan shouted before kicking her head. “Send her to the royal prison and make sure she does not have any weapons on her.”  

The shadow guards nodded their heads before taking her away as she tried to struggle and flee.  The guards took her into a cell and locked the door.

[We should leave.]  Revenge system suggested.  [We tried, but lost this round.  We cannot overturn this current situation.]

“No.  I can’t just leave.  Not like this.” Xinyue shook her head no.  

[There is nothing left here for you!]  The Revenge System pleaded. [Let us go before it’s too late.  You can start in a new world, with a new life, with a new love.]  

“A new love?”  Xinyue asked as some light came into her confused and clouded eyes.  “Yes, let's do that. Let’s leave.”

The Revenge system sighed with relief and began to process their transmigration back to his system's space, however the loading sign popped up and nothing happened.  

“What’s wrong?  What’s taking so long?”  Xinyue asked as she looked up to the transparent sphere in front of her.  

“A loading screen.  I haven’t seen one in a long time.  Why is it here now?”

“Did Headquarters find out what we’ve been doing and place a hold on our activities as they investigate?”  

“I don’t know, but I don’t like this feeling”  He began to panic as he tried to bring her into his system space again, however the loading sign came up.  “It says we have to wait. I can’t do anything.”

Suddenly there was a young woman and a man who stood outside of Xinyue’s cell.  

“Ahhh!”  Xinyue shouted as her eyes caught the beauty in front of her.  Once she recognized who the beauty was, her anger began bubbling up as she quickly stood up.  “What are you doing here!?!”
