[Congratulations!! You have successfully completed your first ‘Last Wish Request’ for Queen Ame Zimco.  You can stay and live your life as Queen Ame until her true death or you can leave now. Which would you like to do?]

“Since I completed the mission successfully, can I stay and leave whenever I want?”  Raine asked in her head.

[No.  You can either stay and live Ame’s life as Ame or leave now and Ame’s body will die.  Ame’s soul was the price to pay for her last wish to be granted.]

Raine thought about it.  Although sex with Lui Wei was great, she didn’t really like him enough to spend the rest of Ame’s life to be by his side. Nor was there anyone there that was holding her back.  

“I would like to leave now.”  Raine decided. It was better if she completed her missions quickly and earn a lot of soul force.  

[Mission completed.  Initializing transfer…. please wait…. please wait…]

“Not this again.”  Raine groaned. The transfer might take forever.  She’ll take this time to make Lui Wei love Ame even more.  

When she opened her eyes, she saw Lui Wei’s tired form at a makeshift desk where all his work was piled up.  

“Lui Wei.”  Raine whispered softly, however his head snapped up quickly in disbelief.  

“Ame.”  Lui Wei got up and rushed to her side and held her hand.  “You’re awake. I’ll call the physician.”

Lui Wei quickly gave orders and pour a cup of warm tea for Ame.  He helped her drink the tea and held her hand. It was still cold.  

“You’re awake.”  Lui Wei said happily as he pushed through his tears and smiled down at her.  

“You asked me to stay.”  Ame said as she smiled softly.  “I heard you. I heard everything that you said.”  

“That’s good, because I meant every word.”  

“Do you really love me, Lui Wei?  Do you really mean it?”

Lui Wei nodded his head yes as tears fell silently.  His heart ache knowing that Ame would not live long. The dagger that wounded her was poisoned and they did not know how to cure it.  No one knew. How could he tell her that she fought so hard to live and be by his side, to wake up and die again because she was poisoned?  There was nothing he could do. He felts so helpless.

“I love you, Ame.  I’ll love you always.”

“What do you mean you’ll love me always?”

“Ame…” Lui Wei said before he broke down and cried loudly.  He could only hold on to her hand and bury his face between her neck and shoulders.  His cries were soul crushing and mournful.

Ame’s tears fell silently.  She knew… she knew the answer to the unanswered question she just asked.  She let him cry as much as he needed. Once he was done, her whole gauze needed to be changed and her sleeping shirt as well.  

The physician and servants only came inside of the room once everything calmed down.  After the examination, physician Chi said a few words to Lui Wei and left them alone again.  

Lui Wei crawled into bed with Ame and held her gently inside of his arms.  

“You look like you haven’t slept in a week.”  

“That’’s because I’ve been working so hard, while someone here slept the whole time.”

“Ah… so it’s my fault. Now that I’m awake, you can catch up on some sleep, while I work.”

“No!  No… stay here with me.” Lui Wei panicked he was afraid that if he closed his eyes, she would disappear.  

“As my husband wishes.”  Ame said as she snuggled in his embrace.  

After some time, Raine could hear Lui Wei sleeping.  

“System, how much longer do I have to wait?”  Raine asked the system in her mind.

[Please wait…. initializing transfer…. 15%]

“So slow! System you need an upgrade!”  Raine complained as she waited. “Can you tell me what happened while I was asleep?  Lui Wei said I was asleep for a whole week.”

[Would you like to review the past 7 days.  Yes/No]

“Yes.”

Raine closed her eyes and she could see Lui Wei’s movements.  It turned out that after Ame was saved, the hidden guards found three ministers and one general who had stayed loyal to Lui Wei’s seventh brother, Lui Long.  It was the four of them that planned his assassination in hopes of placing Lui Long as the next King, being that Lui Wei did not have an heir yet.

After rounding up all those who planned for his assassination, he killed the love one of the disloyal ministers and general in front of them, before torturing them to death.  It was then that Lui Wei learned of another betrayal. One that brought him to his knees.

The general was the last to die and upon his last breath, he confessed that there was a hidden person by his side that betrayed him.  That hidden spy was Bai Yu.

Eight years ago, while Lui Wei left to fight in the war to protect their borders, Bai Yu was left alone and she found herself another man to occupy her time.  That man was Lui Long. Bai Yu did not expect Lui Wei to survive, but when he came back victorious, Bai Yu and Lui Long already had a child.

Although she loved Lui Long, her first love was Lui Wei.  She could not forget Lui Wei. She promised Lui Long that she would help be his spy, as long as she was Lui Long’s Queen and make their child Crown Prince.

Seeing how he lost the throne, Lui Long agreed and spent his time raising their child and planning for an opportunity to kill Lui Wei.  Now that their assassination attempt failed, and those who were loyal to Lui Long were dead, there was no reason for the General to keep the secret.  He wanted to see the devastation of betrayal on Lui Wei’s face before he died. Those that he loved died in front of him, it was the was the only way he could pay Lui Wei back for killing his family.

Lui Wei quickly launched an investigation and found the truth in three days.  He locked Bai Yu, Lui Long and their child up. Lui Wei did not let anyone of them go.  Not even the innocent child. Afterwards, he felt empty. The years of caring, loving, and cherishing Bai Yu was all a waste.

Bai Yu and his love was a lie.  

The love he found with his Queen Wife was the only true thing.  Ame might not be his first love, but she would be his last love.  Afterwards he sent men to find an antidote for the poison. However they could not find it.  Lui Wei could only watch as his beloved Ame die slowly.

He set up a makeshift desk in his bedroom so he could spend every waking moment next to her.  Hoping she’ll wake up and smile at him one last time. Hoping to kiss her lips one last time. Hoping to hold her one last time.  

Lui Wei jerked in his sleep, waking himself up quickly, which in turn woke Ame up.  

“Lui Wei.”  Ame softly said.  “Go back to sleep. You only slept for a couple of hours.”  

Lui Wei tightened his arms around Ame.  Not wanting to let her go.

“Ame…. I’m sorry.”  

“I know.  You don’t have to tell me.”  

“How do you know?”

“I can feel it inside of me.  I don’t have much time left to be by your side. I… I’m sorry, Lui Wei.”  

“Don’t be. Don’t cry. Please.”  Lui Wei said as he wiped her eyes and kissed her forehead.  “No tears.”

“You must be happy, do you hear.  You must do your best and be a man worthy to be King.”  

“I’ll do as you say.”  

“You must marry again.”  

“No.”  

“Yes.  You must have a Queen to stand by your side.”  

“You’re the only Queen I’ll ever recognise.  You’re the only Queen I’ll have. There will be no one else.”

“Don’t be like that… you have to be happy… you have to keep on living. Promise me, Lui Wei.”  

“I… promise.” Lui Wei gave in.  “I love you, Ame.”

“Kiss me, Lui Wei.”

Lui Wei leaned down and kissed her lips.  Their lips touched lightly before the tongues slowly danced.  The moment he pulled away, he knew. His Ame died in his embrace with their last kiss.  

[Transfer complete!  Welcome home.]

“You scam system, couldn’t you have transferred me after I have sex with Lui Wei!?!”

[As a succubus, three or more days without sexual energy means death to you.  It just so happened that you died because you didn’t have sex.]

“Death by lack of sex… who would have thought?”

“F--- *Beep* you, you mother *Beep*, come out her and fight me, you  *Beep*. Are you censoring me! *Beep* you and your *Beep* headquarters!”  Raine shouted as she kicked the wall.

[Are you done throwing a fit?]

“I am NOT throwing a fit!  You scam system!” Raine shouted as she waved her fist in the air. “See if I’ll talk to you. Humph!”  

Raine said as she went to her bed and covered her body and head with a blanket and went to sleep.
