“Not yet.”  Raine said as she curled up in bed and silently cried.  She actually really fell in love with Valentin. Him dying in her arms was something she didn’t expect and the feeling of his body cooling under her hands broke her spirit.

Raine laid under the covers and cried until she fell asleep.  When she woke up, her tears began to fall again, they fell until she fell asleep again.  She repeated this routine several times until one day she woke up and laid in bed. There were no more tears inside of her to shed.  She just kept thinking about what she did wrong in her last transmigration and what she could have done better.

The real Jolan did not know how Valentin died, because Jolan died before Valentin.  His memories couldn’t help Raine save Valentin, however Raine could have helped him, if she stayed true to herself.    

Raine’s mistake in her second transmigration was that she became Jolan completely and lost herself.  Had she held onto her identity as Raine, the heartbreak over Valentin’s death wouldn’t of affected her so much.  Not only that, but her actions could have been more objective if she didn’t lose herself in her mission.

If she didn’t immerse herself as Jolan, she would have taken precautionary measures against Joel as well as taken a more aggressive route to silence him and protect Valentin.  

Her last mission taught her that no matter how strong that person maybe, their life is just as precious and fragile.  No one is immortal.

There was no more “what if’s” for her second transmigration, it already happened and Valentin died the way his fate was written.

Raine stayed in the training center for 2000 years.  Who would have thought that the skill Animal Whisperer, a passive skill, would take 1500 years for Raine to master.  

When Raine came out, she was a totally different person.  Her hair was cut short, her features were sharper and harder.  Even her eyes were colder. Her body was more tone and leaner.

“Send me to my next mission.”  Raine immediately said. She didn’t want to rest after her training.  She wanted to complete as many missions as she could so her wish would be granted.

The darkness around Raine did not worry her.  She had been inside of the darkness for a long time and felt comfortable in it.  Her body and soul broke into particles and flew towards one direction.

Raine looked down at her black dress and realized that the rest of the men wore black suits.  Raine turned to her right to look at her reflection in the tinted window and she saw a beauty staring back at her.  She had wavey brown hair and large, aqua doe eyes.  Her heartshape face looked innocent and sad. 

Raine quickly pulled out a pair of sunglasses from her purse and wore it.  She hated seeing the sadness she saw in her reflection.  It just reminded her of her own sadness.

Addison Evermore the sole heiress to the Evermore Corporation.  Evermore Corporation is a computer technology business that also specializes in video games.  

Before Evermore Corporation became one of the leading gaming company, it was a shell company for the Evermore Family Mafia.  The Evermore Mafia, held a uneasy alliance with two other families that ruled the big city of Winterwind.

There was the Leafheart Family and the Starnett Family.  With the three families ruling over Winterwind, there was an uneasy peace in the city.  One false move and a war would break out in the streets. However Addison grew up with the two Leafheart and Starnett heirs.  Becoming good friends with them.

Addison’s Great Grandfather wanted out of the seedy underworld and used the shell company that was set up to launder money, to create a real legalize company.  He graduated college in computer programing and got a MBA. With is new goal in life, he officially became CEO of Evermore Corporation, creating, developing, and distributing gaming consoles, computers and video games, and computer games.

With the Evermore family leaving the underworld, the Leafheart Family and Starnett Family gained more territory, power and money.  As the years pass, the Evermore family became a respected and notable family of Winterwind. Their seedy past was brushed under the rug and buried.  

However the Evermore family line became non existent in one moment.  Addison’s older Uncle and his family along with her Father, Mother and Brother died in a plane crash.  The only reason why Addison missed the flight was because she had to take her last test for her final semester at college.  Her test was for three hours and when she came out of the testing hall, she found a row of reporters waiting for her.

Her surprise and grief of the death of her family was plastered all over the newspapers and over the nightly news that repeated all through the night and again in the morning as well as the days to come.  

After the funeral, Addison was forced back to live with her only living family, her Grandfather Monroe.  She hated living with her Grandfather and caused a fight wherever she went, which made her Grandfather clean up after her mess.  

Her downfall came when she fell in love with an undercover agent.  His objective was to use her family connection to get to the Leafheart Mafia and Starnett Mafia.  Once he infiltrated, he was able to bring down both Mafia families.  Her best friends, Craig Leafheart and Silver Starnett, blamed her and together took revenge on her family.  

Her Grandfather was shot in front of her.  Her company was bought out by the both of them and she died at their hands.  When she died, she didn’t blame them. She was on a downward spiral and they gave her the release that she was wishing for.  Her only regret was towards her Grandfather.

Her last dying wish was that she wanted to protect her Grandfather and the Evermore Corporation.
