It was time for the second dimension to close.  As Raine and Isao walks up to the opening, she could hear Scam and Odan argue.  

“Raine is right, your name suits you well.”  Odan tells him.

“My name?  You mean our name.  I am you, as you are me.”  

“But you’re the one who got the defective data, which corrupted your morals.”  

“We have no morals!”  Scam argued. “We’re systems, not humans! Besides, you're the one with the corrupted data!”  

“But you still developed into a rotten system.”  Odan spat back.

“I’m not rotten!  You’re the rotten one!  At least I’m stronger than you are, Sleeping Beauty!”  

“I am a beauty, aren’t I?  At least we can agree that I got the good data and you got the defective data.”  

Scram glared at Odan and wanted to scratch his eyes out and wipe the smirk off of his face.  Odan was like an annoying little brother.

“No one agrees with you and your stupid opinion.  At least I didn’t get hurt by those robots and damage my core processor!”  

Odan turned towards him and looked at Scam as if he was an idiot.

“The only reason I was damaged was to save Isao’s beloved and your ass.”  Odan reminded him. “Try going against 100 robots and be able to escape without any damage, I bet you couldn’t even do it.  The “you” then and the “you” now are totally different. If not for Host’s beloved upgrading you and taking those other system’s whole existence, you wouldn’t be able to even compare to me.”  

“Well… who was the one who went into deep sleep and who helped the other wake up from that deep sleep?”  Scam tried to argue with Odan. “A humble “thank you” would be appreciated.”

“Why would I say “thank you” to you?  It’s like saying “thank you” to myself for a job well done.  If anyone, I should be saying “thank you” to Host’s beloved for putting up with you for so long and for all she’s done for you.  As well as apologize for putting up with you and having to do so much for you.”

“Host’s beloved, this… Host’s beloved, that…  Host’s beloved has a name, Odan. Her name is Raine.  And you don’t need to apologize to her, or thank her, we’re a team… we’re in it together…  we’re family.” Scam told Odan.

Odan looked over to Scam and stared at him for a long time before turning his head around and looked off to another place.  Scam smiled smugly and shimmied his shoulders back and forth in a teasingly manner.

“Raine!”  Scam called out as he heard his two Hosts walk up from behind him.  “You’re back!”

Scam couldn’t wait to see Raine and ran towards Raine with his arms out, to give her a hug.  Suddenly he felt Isao’s hand on his face as Isao pushed him away from them and into the side of the cave’s wall.  

Raine could only smile apologetically as well as teasingly at Scam.  Now that Isao remembers everything, he was too possessive of Raine and didn’t even let his own system near her.  

Odan saw the scene and had to bite the side of his cheek to stop himself from laughing out loud.  He quickly looked back out to the woods and cleared his throat a couple of times before standing up straight.  

Raine studied the system named, Odan in front of her.  He was a handsome man, with wavy auburn hair that reached his chin.  He had a prominent jawline and a pointed chin that went well with his high cheekbones.  He had thin lips that rested into a perpetual frown. His glaring blue eyes with flecks of gold didn’t help his indifferent and cold aura either.  

“Host.”  Odan greeted Isao then turned to look at Raine.  “My Lady.”

The corner of Raine’s lips twitched with amusement.  Odan was trying to be so indifferent towards her that she thought Odan was cute.  

“Call me Raine.”  She told him.

“Of course,  I’ll do just that.”  Odan answered as he tried to avoid saying her name.  

“What’s the situation?”  Isao asked as he scanned the forest in front of him.  

Scam pops out from behind them and begins to tell them.  

“Out of the 200 Wooden Elves who participated, only 20 of them are alive and are all waiting at the exit of the dimension.  If we move now, we can still make it out in time. If we aren’t able to get to the exit in time, we will be stuck here.”

“Let’s go.”  Isao ordered as he scoops Raine into his arms and they begin to take flight.  

Raine wraps her arms around Isao’s neck and holds on for dear life.  

“I haven’t learned how to fly like this yet.”  Raine told him.

“This skill can be learned after successfully accomplishing 15 missions.”  Isao tells her. “Or you can just use your Natural Magic to manipulate the wind and help you fly, but that would take a lot of practice and Natural Magic stored within you to do so.”  

“I’ll have to try it out.”  Raine mumbled, however she buried her head inside of his chest and breathed in his scent.  A smile shined through as she closed her eyes and rested until they reached the exit.

Raine didn’t know when she fell asleep, but when she woke up they had already landed and were waiting not too far from the others.  

“Is the female and male protagonist still alive?”  Raine asked Scam in her head.

[Both are alive, as well as the second female lead.]  

“How lucky they are.”  Raine said as she snuggled herself into Isao’s embrace even more.  

[Yes… how lucky.]  A deep male voice sounded in her head, joining their conversation.  

Raine’s eyebrows scrunched together in wonder as Isao squeezed her into his embrace.  

“That was just Odan.”  Isao informed her. “We are all connected and have become one, once again.”  

“How?”  Raine asked.  

“Well, while you and I were becoming one inside of that cave.  Scam and Odan were becoming one somewhere else.”

Raine’s eyes looked over at Scam, however he quickly looked away.  But Raine saw Scam’s face blushed a bright pink. When Raine looked over to Odan, he too had a pink flush to his face and he was looking away from her.  Odan cleared his throat, as if it was the most natural thing to do.

Raine hid her face in Isao’s neck and hid her laughter.  Her shoulders shook with mirth and soon her laughter could no longer be hidden as it became louder and louder.  

Scam frowned and turned to look at his laughing Host.

[What’s so funny?]  Scam asked as he pouted.  

Raine shook her head no and continued to laugh boisterously.  

[You’re going to draw attention towards us if you keep on laughing so loudly.]  Odan told her as he frowned at Raine. He had a feeling that she was laughing at him.  

Raine began to breathe deeply to stop herself from laughing so hard.  

[Tell me.  Tell me. Tell me.  I want to know what’s funny too.]  Scam begged.

“You don’t want to know.”  Raine told Scam.

[Please.]  Scam pleaded.  

“Yes, I want to know as well.”  Isao asked.

[Me too.]

Raine looked at the three of them before clearing her throat and telling them.  

“So… Scam and Odan became one system again.”  

“That’s right.”  Isao agreed.

“Just like you and I became one in that cave.”  

“That’s right.”  Isao said again.

“So does that mean that they had sex with themselves?” Raine began to giggle.  

[You… that… was… not funny…]  Scam told her as he pouted. [There’s two of us, so how could we have sex with ourselves?]  

“So that means that there was a top and a bottom?”  Raine asked as she sat up in Isao’s lap. “Which one was you, Scam?”  

[You!  How can you be so uncouth, asking me about such private things!]  Scam said back as his face flushed a brighter pink. [At least give me some privacy as I give to you when you’re with Isao and when you’re on your sex marathons!]  

Raine stopped smiling and fixed her face to look as if the reprimand worked.   

“I’m sorry.  You’re right.  You deserve your own privacy.  It was wrong of me to ask.”

[Thank you.]

“Did you “fix Odan’s core processor?” “ Raine spat out as a smile broke through.  “Did you “unload” some of your “power” onto Odan… or into Odan? Did Odan “process” the “data” and “power” you share with him?”  

Isao leaned his head next to hers and began to chuckle.  Scam stared at Raine with an embarrassed look before looking away.

“Alright… Alright… Alright… I won’t tease you anymore.”  Raine said. “I didn’t mean to tease you, it’s just that you are like a younger brother to me and hearing that you popped your cherry, I just had to tease you.  If I hurt your nonexistent feelings, I’m sorry. You too, Odan.”

[What is there to forgive?  We have become one system again and technically what you said is the truth.]  Odan told her. [Besides, I was never one to lay down and have things handed to me.  I also gave as much as I received.]

[ODAN!]  

Raine’s eyes opened wide as she nodded her head in understanding.  

“Alright then.  Good to know.” Raine said.  

Scam was the only one with his shoulders hunched.  He looked like a puppy that had just been kicked.

“Awe, Scam.  I don’t like seeing you this way.”  Raine said as she tried to get up from Isao’s embrace, but he held on to her tightly against his body, not letting her go.  

“What you have to say, you can say it here.”  Isao told her.

Before Raine could even answer Isao, Odan walked to Scam’s side and held Scam’s hand.  In a blink of an eye, they both disappeared.

“They….”  Raine looked at the blank space in front of her.  “They’re gone.”

“They’re probably working out the kinks between them.”  Isao told her as he smiled down at her. “Our boys are all grown up.”  

Raine looked up at Isao and smiled gently at him.  

“Yeah… I guess they are…”  Raine agreed.
