HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Welcome back to the Open Novella Contest, friends and followers, and let me tell you- I am already so excited for 2023's entry, and I haven't even started writing it yet!

For those who need a refresher, the goal for the ONC is to write a brand new 20K-word completed novella over three months' time using at least one of the provided prompts, with each round being judged at 2K, 8K and 20K words, respectively.

And though there are so many amazing prompts this year, I told myself I'd be writing 100% contemporary romance this time around, and I think I've narrowed it down to the perfect three:

Can we go back to the start when we were all strangers in the dark?

Prompt #52

There is someone you dream about every night, but you never imagine meeting them in real life.

Prompt #69

And I think I need to stop myself there. 

There is no irony in that this idea came to me in a dream, either.

As I said, there were so many amazing ones, I know I could find more to weave into this story, so we'll see if any others inspire me along the way.
