1. For the duration of the contest, or permanently if you wish: Participants, please follow the judges. Judges, please follow those you're assigned to.

2. Participants, please do not reach out to your judges via private message or otherwise.

3. Bribery is grounds for elimination.

4. Judges must find at least 1 error per story (typo, capitalization, spelling, or punctuation) and correct it in an in-line comment. If you find more, please provide a correction.

Example: suzie hasnt ate today.

Correction: Suzie hasn't eaten today. *

5. Participants, do not respond to in-line comments with a comment of your own. Consider whether you would like to make the change and do so if you see fit.

6. Do not spread hate to other participants or judges. Be mature, be polite.

7. Please abide by the deadlines. After entries are closed, a new chapter will be added with judging deadlines and a timeline for each round.

8. Participants may make changes to their description and the rest of their work, but any changes made after judging begins will not be judged a second time- that would be unfair to the judges.

9. Please complete the Participant and/or Judge Application in the appropriate comments section and fill it out in the proper sequence according to the example and in one single comment.

11. Enter only two stories per person, please. Must have at least 3 chapters, prologue is optional. It does not count as a chapter.

12. You may enter your work into one genre, but you may submit it to two subcategories. See the proper chapter for the list of each.

13. Judges, please have access to Google Docs- it is free to make an account. This is important as I will be sending you the Judging Rubric via Google Docs.
