Chapter Two: The First Battle

Little screamed and shot an arrow straight into a phantom's purple eye. It whirred to the ground, lifeless. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Snowflake defending a bunny in a burning alley and Blooming locked in combat with a slightly larger phantom.
"Help!" Little whipped around in the direction of the desperate cry and watched in horror as an otter was electrocuted to death.
Little yelled a battle cry and drove her hind legs into the phantom's squishy back. It was shoved forward into the wall, and dropped to the ground, limp. Another otter with a flower behind her ear squealed and ran to her companion, sobbing.
Little swallowed her remorse and charged at a phantom that was currently trying to fit snow leopard armour on its fat squishy body. "You're too chubby for that, mister!" Little cried, grasping the armour and tearing it out of its grasp. "Maybe you should've tried going on a diet before a big battle!" The phantom zapped at her, but Little dodged it with ease, raking her reinforced claws across the phantom's side. Dark purple liquid oozed out along with the stench of burning rubber. Little wrinkled her nose and shot an arrow through its large eye, causing it to flop to the ground.
Where is my brother? Little thought, frantically searching. He was in Jamaa last time I saw him... "Little! Look out!" Someone yelled as she looked over her shoulder to see a large phantom towering over her. The phantom got ready to zap her, when it was knocked aside.
Dudemanbro! Little thought in relief as her brother, in his deer form, Emperor, galloped to her, his red eyes glittering.
"Where were you?!" He yelled over the chaos of screams. "I thought you were dead!"
"I told you I was going to Jam Mart!" Little yelled back, swishing her tail. "But we can't fight each other now! Save it for the phantoms!"
Emporer reluctantly nodded and whipped around to gallop to a cornered family of bunnies, his non member sword tightly grasped in his jaws.
"Little! Help! I'm overwhelmed!" Blooming's voice boomed out in terror, the pretty arctic wolf being knocked to the stone ground by three large phantoms.
Seeing her best friend being knocked to the cold hard ground angered Little so much, that her sight was tinted slightly red with rage.
"It. Is. So. On." Little growled to herself as she charged at the phantoms, a newly equipped sword in her jaws. "You mess with my friend," Little shrieked, leaping at a phantom. "Then you'll have to go through ME!"
As soon as Little landed on top of the middle phantom, she leapt off on to the one on the right, causing the one on the left to zap the middle one. The middle one dropped to the ground as Little landed on the ground in between the two left remaining. "Alright, floppy spiders," Little growled, sword ready. "Let's dance."
Little instantly started dodging well-aimed blows from the phantoms electricity. She blocked one zap with her sword, deflecting it straight at the left phantom. The phantom was dazed, and she saw her chance. Little leapt at the left one, landing on it and stabbing the sword into its head. Then, before it fell, she leapt off of it, and in the air, she fired an arrow straight through the right phantom's eye, killing it instantly.
She landed neatly next to Blooming, panting and near collapse from exhaustion.
"Th- Thanks, Little..." Blooming stood and supported her panting friend so she wouldn't fall over. "I didn't know you could do that."
"Me neither," Little's words were slightly slurred. "Where's Snowflake?"
"Last I saw her, she led that bunny to safety." Blooming barked. "I haven't seen her since-"
"Blooming! Little! HELP!" A desperate roar rang in her sensitive fox ears. Snowflake! She thought, her head whipping around to the sound.
The white tiger was in a small square cage, phantoms surrounding her charging up their death blow zaps. She clutched her rare sword tightly, her ice blue eyes wide with terror.
Seeing her other best friend in a cage shot adrenaline through Little's veins.
Blooming charged, equally raged alongside Little, holding her golden sword high, and her elegant ice armour gleaming. Blooming quickly dispatched half of them with a single smooth swipe with her sword. Little ran up Blooming's back and leapt off her head to land on top of the small cage barking with rage. Snowflake joined in with a mighty roar and Blooming let out a booming howl that echoed around the entire Jamaa. The remaining phantoms that surrounded Blossom's cage backed off slightly, daunted by the sudden show of strength.
Blooming let out a howl of fury and chucked her sword at a phantom which fell to the ground quickly. Little quickly fired three arrows and dispatched three of them, and the last one, frightened, quickly hovered off.
Blooming grabbed a fallen phantom's tentacle and stuck it into the lock to the cage which clicked and the door opened.
Snowflake rolled out, hissing with fury."There are too many! We have to retreat to Saripea Forrest!"
Little collapsed on top of the crate and Blooming slid her onto her back. "I'm afraid you're right..." Blooming sighed. "Remaining jammers! Retreat! Retreat to Saripea!"
Blooming and Snowflake dashed side by side with Little torwards Saripea Forrest, where all the roleplayers like to hang out. Little was a big roleplayer herself.
Then her vision began to...
