We followed a yellow brick path to the tavern. We decided to walk because the trip from the hospital to the tavern was only a mile or two long. I was finally going to get some answers and so was Peggy. I couldn't wait, only a few more minutes until we would be there. The path finally came to an end when we got to the Golden Gate Tavern. Peg and I walked through the yard in front of the small building. There were a lot of dandelions and the grass went all the way up to my knees. There was no little path up to the door, just a little welcome mat. The door was wide and was shaped like a circle. The place was built into the side of a hill. Moss hung over the roof and stopped a little before the top of the door. We opened the door together because it was so very and a stream of Brighton light burst through the opening of the door. We looked inside to see a very strange picture. Not a real picture but a strange scene of people. There were big Ogres playing pool and a bunch of pixies sitting at a square table. A bar tender was giving a normal-ish looking pony a huge barrel of wine and the pony chugged it all down in one sip. We let the door slam be hide us and everyone looked up. "Uhhhh... Hi! We were looking for an old wizard guy about" I gestured with my hand to show about how tall he was. "This height, has anyone seen him?" They looked at us for a few more seconds and then continued what they were doing. Talk about being rude. We just wanted to know where the guy was, how much of a hassle is it to just point to were he was? We walked deeper into the bar section and towards the bar tender. "Excuse me, do you know where an old wizard is? I'm not sure what he name is but he knows everything about people's family, do you know him?" I asked her. She finished filling a mug with beer and then replied, "Yeah I know him, his name is Guildarts and he's on a quest right now, he should be back around dinner time."
"Dinner time! I can't wait that long!" I exclaimed. She shrugged her head and walked away. Now I had to wait to meet this guy AGAIN! It wasn't even 10:00 am yet and now I would have to wait for 7 or 8 more hours, great. I would be stuck in this place with a bunch ogres, pixies, and demented Pegasus. When I say demented Pegasus I don't mean Peggy, she's quite the opposite but she tends to ramble when she's bored and trust me, she gets bored very easily. It was gonna be a long day. I have to think of it like this: in just 7 hours, I would know everything about me family and who I really was. I've waited my whole life to find that out, I think I could last a few more hours.
