The Last Time We Said Hello

They said people have it in their DNA to repair things: phones, cars, houses, computers, acquaintanceships, family relationships, friendships, romantic relationships.

I said nothing that fails so badly and so often should be fixed.

It was only after having met you, did I have a shift in my perspective; I wanted to make things right when they were wrong.

But you already said goodbye. And I was just about to say hello.
